Cayman's beautiful Sunrise from East End was featured on the Japanese TV show. We were happy to coordinate filming here in the Cayman Islands. We were able to showcase Cayman's cassava cake and music!

Project Name: RISE
(Resilience Initiative for Students and Educators)

What is RISE?:Through a partnership with the European Union’s RESEMBID Programme, the CIRC aims to improve
the islands’ resilience.
CIRC is working to provide a collection of free teaching
and learning resources for the Ministry and Department
of Education as part of this project.
These include a collection of lessons, videos and learning
resources focused around Natural Disaster preparedness,
First Aid and Wellness.

1 pm - 5 pm at Red Cross (across from the cricket field)

Selected talent will be interviewing First Responders such as Police Officer, Fire Fighter, etc.

特にそんなモットーがあると言うわけではないですが、ケイマンの人は誰にでも声をかけるフレンドリーさがあります。
例えば、銀行やスーパーのレジで並んでいている時に前後の人が普通に世間話をしてきたり、妊娠中に買い物していたら通りがかりの人が荷物を車に入れるのを手伝ってくれたり。
元々、誰もが当たり前に持っていたものですが、観光省もこの人柄に注目して、2011年くらいから「CAYMANKIND」という言葉をキャンペーンで使うようになり、「CAYMANKIND」の文字をあちこちに見るようになりました。
安全安心が、ますますケイマンの特徴となってきています。

CAYMANIAN MALE REQUIRED FOR VOICE-OVER WORK

No experience is necessary. Just a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are needed.

This is paid work.

The ideal person will have an authentic Caymanian accent and be aged between 11 years old and 15 years old.

The role entails reading a script, which is approximately 2 minutes long.

Your voice will be recorded for a Public Service Announcement.

The duration of the job is 30 minutes.

Location - Savannah / George Town.

As part of the PSA, your voice and face recording will be posted on Social Media.

It's time for the "RUNNIN' IN DI REPUBLIC"

For the 5th successive year, CUC is taking to the streets in West Bay on Saturday, May 21, 2022 for a fun run and walk as we raise money for the Sunrise Adult Training Centre and the Cayman Islands Athletic Association (CIAA). Everyone is welcome to join.

Course: Starts and ends at Ristorante Pappagallo, Conch Point Road, West Bay.

Start Time: 6:30 a.m. (Walkers) and 6:45 a.m. (Runners). Check-in time starts at 5:30 a.m. (to receive numbers (all participants) and race chips (for runners).
Fee: CI$15 Adults and CI$10 Youth (Under 17).

Amenities: Participants will receive a t-shirt (sizes are not guaranteed), participation medal and ‘power’ bag. Light refreshments will be provided and trophies for the fastest and second fastest male and female finishers in the Adult and Youth (Under 17) divisions will be presented at the end of the event along with a number of Spot Prizes including vouchers for Cayman Airways and CUC Gift Certificates (you have to be present to win).
