MAY BAGONG FORMAT ANG GOVERNORS' CUP!👀

Muling ibabalik ng liga ang tournament format na huling ginamit noong 2003 kung saan ay mahahati ang 12 teams sa dalawang grupo na mayroong 6 teams:

GROUP A
1. Meralco Bolts
2. TNT Tropang Giga
3. Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots
4. Converge FiberXers
5. Terrafirma Dyip
6. NorthPort Batang Pier

GROUP B
1. San Miguel Beermen
2. Barangay Ginebra San Miguel
3. Rain or Shine Elasto Painters
4. Phoenix Fuelmasters
5. NLEX Road Warriors
6. Blackwater Bossing

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

A. Ang group phase ay magkakaroon ng double round robin format kung saan ay makakaharap ng mga teams ang bawat isa sa kanilang grupo ng dalawang beses para sa elimination round.

B. Ang top 4 teams per group matapos ang eliminations ay aabante sa crossover Quarterfinals sa isang five-game series.

C. Ang final four ay maghaharap sa isang seven-game Semifinals series.

D. Ang mag-e-emerge na top 2 ay magtatapatan sa Finals na isa pa ring seven-game series.
