A group of "young at heart" bond servants of Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 13:5-8
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
So we say with confidence,
"The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?"
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Money, itself is NOT evil. it clearly states that the LOVE of money is.
Human as we are, we do need money in our day to day life. It is a neccesity in this world, however as Christians we must always check the status of our heart.

Is money becoming more and more our priority? Is money becoming more and more important? Is it becoming the only thing that makes us happy?

The enemy can be very subtle in deceiving us thus making us fall into sin without even knowing it.

Don’t let the day-to-day uncertainties of life fill your heart with fear and anxieties.
Uncertain times can lure us into a deep sense of fear but you can choose to trust God today. And begin to hope that He’s prepared a better future for you.

We have the Blesser, what more can I possibly need?

To GOD be the glory🫶🏻✔️

Showing no partiality or favoritism,
I have to admit that I do not look at people based on their status, profession, bank account or even their physical appearance. I equally do not mind them at all. However, I almost always avoid people who live their lives in contrast to what they say, claim or portray. Someone would claim that adultery is a sin but they are an andulterer themselves. Someone would preach about being kind when they do not show compassion to all. I do not want to associate myself with those who do not walk their talk.
The problem is, I myself become a self righteous person who kept on judging others when I myself is not perfect as well.
I "used" to be THAT person who listens well to smart people, who always makes sense and definitely knows what they are talking about.
This kind of attitude breaks the very important commandment of "loving your neighbor".
I am self righteous, I am conceited, I am developing a superiority complex which is NOT in line with how God wants me to live my life.
That being said, made me ponder of all the thoughts that raced my mind. I praise God for giving me a church family that helped in molding my way of thinking. In transforming me from glory to glory to be the person God intended me to be.
Jesus even ate with the tax collectors and sinners, He showed no partiality nor favoritism, He came to save the lost. He came to heal the sick. He died to save us ALL.
So who I am to choose which of my brethren are the only ones worth my attention.
So in conclusion, No one is above anyone! We are all equal in the eyes of GOD. And so, instead of looking and seeing people on who they are, what they do, where they came from, I tried looking and seeing them on HOW the Lord looks and see everyone of us!
To GOD be the glory❤️

James 2:1-13
New International Version

Favoritism Forbidden
My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in.
If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,”
have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?
But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court?
Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?
If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,”
you are doing right.
But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.
For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.
For he who said, “You shall not commit adultery,”also said, “You shall not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.
Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom,
because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

In the Old Testament, Daniel stood strong and trusted God when he was thrown into a den of hungry lions. To me, it's interesting to think about why Daniel was so confident in God's protection. When did he learn to trust God? The answer: He didn't learn to trust in the lions' den.
Daniel learned in his prayer closet.
His faith wasn't built in the battle.
His faith was built when he was on his knees.
He had consistently sought after the heart of God. Three times a day. Day after day, week after week, month after month, he consistently worshiped and sought God.

It's not what we do occasionally that makes the difference. It's what we do consistently.
Lord, help me to faithfully and consistently glorify YOU in all that I do! In Jesus Name. Amen

You keep track of all my sorrows.
My groaning is not hidden from You.
You understand my thoughts from afar.
You are aware of all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue,

You know all about it, O LORD.

Psalm 56:8, 38:9, 139:2-4

May the scriptures above be a reminder that He knows exactly where you are and what you are going through.

The Lord watches over all who love Him (Psalm 145:20).

He is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

May your weary heart receive His peace as you cast all your worries to the One who cares about you.

Boasting About Tomorrow
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”
As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.

It does not say that "planning is sinful" or that "planning is wrong", It is about making a statement, out of confidence in one's own ability, and without humility that is unwise.
Remember, It is NOT about being self sufficient but GOD dependent.
There could be challenges and trials along the way but as you go through it, you come out stronger than ever. As long as it gives glory to the Lord, it gives you peace then you know that it is God's will.

Our confidence is in the Lord not in this world.
I may not know what the future holds, but I know who holds my future.♥️

Isaiah 43:16-19

This is what the LORD says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

GOD WILL MAKE A WAY!
✔️He did it before, He will do it again. (How many times has GOD delivered us from all our adversaries, making us stronger than ever)
✔️Do not dwell on the past, instead strive for something new. Be present and Look forward for the future.
✔️Let us be a better version of our current best especially in our walk with the Lord.
✔️Stop holding on to what's holding you back
✔️The best is yet to come
Trust the LORD💕

"But as for you, be strong and do not give up,
for your work will be rewarded.”

I know the season of working and waiting could be tiring especially when we do not easily see the result that we were expecting.
However, let us keep the faith and the joy that in the midst of our working and waiting,
God's will has already been set in motion.
Our great reward is to be with the Lord for all eternity🫶🏻

2 Timothy 2:1-7
You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.
Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules.
The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops.
Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.

The Soldier, The Athlete, The Farmer

We must act like a soldier with extreme FOCUS, free of any distraction, because we are now marching in the Lord's army.

We must act like an athlete with 100% percent obedience. It would take us as far as possible with our ability, effort, discipline and endurance but the most important is OBEDIENCE as it would take us farther and further in our walk for the Lord.

We must act as a hardworking farmer, not all the result are instant and automatic. Most planting takes time. so we ought to be patient in planting seeds and wait in hope for the harvest from the Lord.

Let us all remember that,
Serving GOD is our main priority
Obeying GOD is incorporated to our daily living
Working for GOD is worth it ❤️

This year has been the most painful year for all of us.
We cannot even fathom the depth of those wounds.
If I were to focus on all the pain that this year has brought me, I won't be able to stand up and face the coming year.
However, the tears, the test, the trials are now part of my testimony of how even in the darkest moments, GOD is always there. He will always be the one and only source of my joy. My peace. My Everything.
All glory belongs to the Lord❤️

Psalms 73:26

They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.

It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

No matter what highs or lows awaits us the coming days, we are at peace, knowing that the GOD whom we serve is always with us!

Romans 8:31-39

More Than Conquerors

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

One of the most amazing truth in the bible that I keep using against the enemy whenever they feed me lies or whenever they keep on reminding me of my failures is this;
"GOD has always been with me,
He has been keeping me
and He will never give up on me."
People can easily betray us, leave us, hurt us, and they could easily disappoint us, but God's unconditional love for us covers everything,
We just have to be reminded of WHO our GOD is.
His love for us is the only assurance that we need in this lifetime.
No matter how much we run away from God, He is still always waiting for us to come to Him.
Whatever season we may be right now, His love is always there.
Even if we are going through a lot of difficulties, His love embraces and strengthens us to face and conquer it all.
All glory belongs to the Lord♥️

Psalms 121
I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip-- he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD watches over you-- the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life;
the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

It speaks of our unwavering source of help and protection. Our ever present help in times of need.
No matter what we are going through, those heartbreaks and betrayals and life's challenges won't change the fact of who GOD is. and how good GOD is.
Always remember that though, we cannot control or tame the storm that we are in but we can always choose to fix our eyes on the one who can silence it♥️

Sometimes GOD calms the storm and sometimes HE calms his child.

Trials and tribulation will surely come our way, Life is all about UPs and DOWNs but no matter what we are going through, even if Life knocked us down on our knees, we know that we are in the best position to pray.

Human as we are, we worry about a lot of things. But our GOD will always be bigger than all of that.
We put our faith on a solid rock.
The foundation of our faith lies on solid ground.

We rejoice not on our circumstances, but we rejoice on WHO is with us through those circumstances.

We praise the Lord that we know WHO GOD IS and what HE has done for us.

Let us always remember that;
Worrying will only rob us of our joy, so instead of meditating on those problems, let us medidate on God's word --- that's WORSHIP

Thank You Lord ☺️

Sometimes we ask GOD to guide our footsteps
but we are not walking on our feet!
Sometimes we ask GOD to lead us to walk on water but we are not stepping out of the boat!

I know it could be really scary to get out of our comfort zone. BUT bear in mind, 2 Timothy 1:7

"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."

In this lifetime, we will encounter how the Lord gives and how He takes away. Yet, in both circumstances, we can be sure that the hands which created the universe, are the same hands which hold all things together.

When we experience loss, we will feel pain and we will grieve. And that is okay. Our emotions do not make us less of a person; or of a believer. We might feel alone during these trying times. But truth is, the “man of sorrows and familiar with suffering” and “acquainted with grief” (Isaiah 53:3), our Lord Jesus, is with us as we go through our trials not rushing us to grieve and heal but is gently embracing us with comfort and love.

We are living in a broken world wherein suffering is inevitable. But God, who is still seated in His Holy throne, can bring good things out of it. And we can only hope that something better will come, when we fully trust His heart. That even if we do not understand, we know that He is working all things together for the good OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM (Romans 8:28, emphasis mine).

He will never be unsure of how He is going to take care of His children. His children who profess their trust in Him, not just in good days but in ALL days, bad included.

My prayer for today, is that when we feel that everything is falling apart, may we be reminded to come to Him in our weakest so that we can see that His grace is sure and true. That even if our present afflictions are real, they are producing for us an eternal weight of glory that is far beyond comparison (2 Cor. 4:17).

And when the time comes that He takes away something in our lives, may we be comforted by the truth that He gives something greater, better and more than enough-

Himself.

“I am your very great reward” (Gen. 15:1).

Praise be to God through our Lord Jesus Christ!
---

Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

✅ The race set before us

Philippians 3:12-15
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,
I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Jesus Christ, is calling us.

We press on!
Move forward
Step up!
Level up!

focusing ONLY at the end of the race - that is the eternity with the LORD 💓

It is never a competition with anyone else,
each one of us has our own track/path to take!
AND our heavenly coach, is Jesus Christ

Just like an althlete training for his game, we are continuously living in this world and this is our training ground.

The race track will NOT be easy peasy but with GOD at our every step, it will all be worth it!

So, buckle up everyone! there is always room for improvement especially in serving the Lord!

When the circumstance is not making any sense, let us remember that every question does not have to have an immediate answer. God knows everything and His plans were formed in perfect faithfulness. Let us not lose heart. Instead, let us continue to put our faith in Him, even if for now, the things that we believe for are only seen by the eyes of hope.

We were not made to have ALL of our dreams fulfilled. Most of the time, God’s best is far better than our own versions of best. To those of us who have trusted Christ as our Lord and Savior, we know that we were created for His glory and not for our own.

Trust the Author.
He knows you.

He is gracious in all He does

CAN SALVATION BE LOST?

"Conditional security”
is a theological term used in reference to the salvation of believers in Jesus Christ.
It describes the supposedly tentative quality of the Christian’s salvation.
In other words, a Christian’s salvation is “conditionally secure.”
This begs the question: upon what condition is the believer’s salvation secure?
Proponents of conditional security assert that the salvation is conditional upon remaining faithful until the very end.

To use an analogy the Bible uses, the athlete must finish the race in order to receive the prize. To support this view, those who adhere to the doctrine of conditional security would point to such biblical passages as the following:

“And many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:11-13)

“So therefore, brothers, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” (Romans 8:12-14)

“Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:1-2)

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:7-9)

These passages, and many others that could be cited, point to the conditional quality of the believer’s salvation. In each of these passages, the biblical author (under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit) uses conditional language (e.g., if you endure, then you will be saved) to highlight the nature of the believer’s security in Christ. In order to ensure the security of our salvation, the believer must:
1) Endure to the end;
2) live by the Spirit;
3) hold fast to the preached word;
4) sow to the Spirit.

It’s not as if the gift of salvation is lacking in any way, but the individual believer must earnestly strive to remain faithful. In the words of Paul, “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12).

Given the weight of the biblical evidence, it would seem that the view of conditional security is unassailable.
How could anyone argue with the notion that the believer must remain faithful until the end to secure his salvation? Yet, there is another side to this debate.
This is the age-old theological debate between Arminians (those who hold to conditional security) and Calvinists (those who hold to what it called “eternal” security or Perseverance of the Saints).

Where the Arminian can trot out dozens of biblical passages that point to the believer’s conditional security, the Calvinist can point to an equally large array of biblical passages to support the view of eternal security, such as the following:

“For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.” (Matthew 24:24)

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can sn**ch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can sn**ch them out of my Father’s hand.” (John 10:28-29)

“And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.” (Ephesians 1:13-14)

Just as with conditional security, many more passages could be listed that detail the eternal security of the true follower of Christ. For each of the above passages, one thing stands out—the eternal security of the believer has nothing at all to do with the individual effort of the believer, but on the preserving grace of God, whereas the passages that support conditional security seem to focus on the believer’s ability to remain faithful.

What are we to make of all this? Does the Bible teach both conditional and eternal security? Does God speak with a “forked tongue”?

The answer to both questions is “no.”

Yet, we must be able to reconcile the passages that speak of the believer remaining faithful with the passages that speak of God preserving the believer to the end.

The key to this riddle is in looking at what theologians have called the Doctrines of Grace.

The Doctrines of Grace have been alternately called the Five Points of Calvinism (a misnomer as Calvin never articulated just “five points”)
or TULIP (an acronym based on the aforementioned five points).
Here, in brief, are the Doctrines of Grace:

Total Depravity: Due to original sin, man is born thoroughly corrupt and is unable to do anything pleasing to God, nor does he seek after God.

Unconditional Election: Because of man’s depravity, God must step in to secure the salvation of the believer. God does this by electing him unconditionally (i.e., man contributes nothing) to salvation.

Limited Atonement: In order to receive those God has elected unto salvation, atonement must be made to satisfy God’s righteous judgment on their sin. God does this through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Irresistible Grace: God applies the merits of this salvation in “real time” by drawing His elect irresistibly to Him by the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit. This is accomplished through the means of preaching the gospel.

Perseverance of the Saints: The salvation God has wrought for believers is seen through to the end as God preserves and sanctifies His elect until the end.

In order to evaluate whether or not the believer’s salvation is conditionally or eternally secure, one must first deal with the preceding five points of the Doctrines of Grace.

Perseverance of the saints is not a stand-alone doctrine, but logically rests upon the other four points. The linchpin of the Doctrines of Grace is the first point, total depravity, which, if true, the other four points must necessarily follow.
Space does not permit a thorough defense of the doctrine of total depravity, but suffice it to say that the Bible unequivocally teaches that man is, on his own, totally incapable of coming to God for his salvation (Matthew 19:25-26; John 6:44; Romans 3:10-18; and many more).

Critics of Calvinism and the Doctrines of Grace will assert that if we teach and hold to these doctrines, holiness and piety will go out the window.
In other words, if salvation is eternally secure, what restrains a believer from sinning at will? Claiming faith in Christ becomes the ultimate “get out of hell” card.

The Apostle Paul asked the same question in Romans 6:1. Paul’s response was that sin is not compatible with the new life in Christ (Romans 6:2-4). Far from advocating a license to sin, the Doctrines of Grace actually do more to promote Christian piety than the doctrine of conditional security.
The Puritans, known for, among other things, their piety and strict devotion to holy living, were predominantly Calvinists.
In the Doctrines of Grace, piety is seen as the grateful response of the believer for God’s amazing grace in salvation (Romans 12:1-2). These doctrines, if held and believed rightly, make the works we do a response of true love to our gracious God who loved us enough to save us from our sin and misery. The Heidelberg Catechism (one of the earliest confessional documents of the Protestant Reformation and a teaching tool for children and new believers) is broken into three sections: The Misery of Man (our sinful state); Of Man’s Deliverance (God’s gracious act of salvation through Jesus Christ); and Of Thankfulness (our response to God’s grace, which also outlines our duty as Christians).

So if we accept the premise that the Doctrines of Grace are true (i.e., biblical), then how do we reconcile that with all of those passages that purportedly speak to conditional security?

The short answer is that we (believers) persevere (remain faithful until the end) because God preserves us. To put it another way, if we do nothing to obtain or earn salvation (salvation being a free gift of God’s grace), then how can we lose salvation?
Conditional security is acceptable only to those who also believe that they somehow contributed to their salvation in the first place (which Arminian theology logically implies). But this flies in the face of such passages as Ephesians 2:8-9: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast,” which clearly assert that we contribute absolutely nothing to our salvation; even the faith necessary to receive the gift of grace, is itself a gift of God.

On the other hand, Arminianism gives man a reason to boast in the end. If by my cooperation with the Spirit of God I remain faithful to the end, I can boast (a little) about how I was able to stay the course and finish the race. However, there will be no boasting in heaven except to boast in the Lord (1 Corinthians 1:31). The doctrine of conditional security is not biblical; the Bible is quite clear that we persevere because God preserves us.

The same GOD who saved Noah from the flood,
The same GOD who promoted Joseph in the foreign land,
The same GOD who parted the red sea so that Moses and the rest of the Israelites can pass through,
The same GOD who strengthen David to defeat Goliath,
The same GOD who delivered Daniel from the lion's den,
IS THE SAME GOD that I believed in, the GOD in whom I trust❤️
He is my ever present help in times of need.

I used to "personified" anyone or anything that brings comfort, assurance and security in my life BUT I praise God because as I grow deeper in the knowledge of the LORD, I now learned that GOD alone,is to be MAGNIFIED and GLORIFIED❤️
I put my FAITH in the one true living GOD!

And so, Everyday I declare FAITH OVER FEAR 😍

For I know that, though each of us has our own flood, foreign land, red sea, goliath, and even a lion's den in a different form or attack, I know for sure that I have THE SAME GOD now and forever!

To God be the glory
Amen ❤️
