Dec 9: In a significant update, Kuwait has temporarily halted its popular e-
Visa service to implement system upgrades aimed at enhancing the user experience. The suspension impacts travelers from 53 countries who relied on obtaining visas online before their arrival.
Despite the pause, travelers from 53 eligible countries can still secure a tourist visa upon arrival at Kuwait City International Airport, ensuring continued accessibility for international visitors.
Reason Behind the Suspension
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced the suspension as part of a development initiative to modernize and improve the e-Visa platform. While no specific timeline has been provided for its resumption, officials assure visitors that alternative arrangements are in place to facilitate travel during the transition. Tourist Visa on Arrival
Citizens of 53 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and several European and Asian nations, can apply for a visa upon arrival.
This process requires:
A passport valid for at least six months.
A confirmed return or onward ticket.
A visa fee of 3 Kuwaiti Dinars (KWD).
Residential address details in Kuwait.
Dozens were killed or unaccounted for in Gaza on Thursday after Zionist strikes, on the day the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the war. With warrants also issued for Netanyahu’s former defense minister Yoav Gallant and Hamas’ military chief, all three men face accusations of crimes against humanity and war crimes in the conflict sparked by the Oct 7 attack.
Palestinian health authorities said 112 Palestinians were killed and scores injured in several Zionist massacres. One strike near the Kamal Adwan hospital in the north of the territory left “dozens of people” dead or missing, the facility’s director Hossam Abu Safiya told AFP. Another strike was reported in a neighborhood of Gaza City, with civil defense spokesman Mahmud Bassal saying 22 were dead. “There is a headless body. We don’t yet know who this is,” said Moataz Al-Arouqi, who lives in the area.
The health ministry in Gaza said the death toll from the Zionist offensive has reached 44,056 people, the majority civilians. The Zionist entity has faced growing international criticism over its conduct of the Gaza war, including from its allies. The ICC’s move now theoretically limits the movement of Netanyahu as any of the court’s 124 national members would be obliged to arrest him on their territory. An arrest warrant has also been issued for Gallant, whom Netanyahu sacked as defense minister on Nov 5, and Hamas military chief Ibrahim Al-Masri, known as Mohammed Deif. #arrest #warrent #gaza #viral #news #israel

There are longstanding local stories and rumors about a haunted
house in Salmiya, Kuwait, but they largely belong to the realm of urban legends. One of the most well-known tales centers around an abandoned villa that
people claim is haunted by spirits or jinn, supernatural beings in Islamic mythology. Locals have reported strange noises, shadowy figures, and eerie sensations near the site. However, like many
haunted house tales, these accounts lack concrete evidence and are mostly based on folklore. The story behind the villa is more poignant than spooky. It was built by Saleh Al-Ibrahim in the 1960s at the intersection of Fahaheel Road and the Fourth
Ring Road, across from Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital.
Saleh constructed the house in anticipation of his son’s marriage, but tragedy struck when his son died in a car accident in the U.S. before he could return home. Grieving the loss, Saleh believed his son’s spirit lingered in the house, and he refused to sell or appraise it. Over the years, this villa became known as “the haunted house,” with eerie stories
surrounding it, especially during the 1970s and 1980s.
