2021 EMCOK Global Online Audition Postponed by 1 Year

As the variants of the coronavirus spreads around the world, different policies in each country make it difficult for applicants to practice and produce team videos, which causes a difficulty to apply for the auditions.

In addition, due to the recent advisories and global travel restrictions in several countries, EMCOK has inevitably decided to postpone the upcoming ONLINE CONCERT and AUDITIONS for one year.

Our highest priority is the safety from the global pandemic COVID-19 and safety of every participant who has applied and given interest in the audition.

Until travel restrictions are lifted and AUDITION resumes normally in 2022, we will be opening 2~3 EVENT CONTESTS in order to keep up the activeness of EMCOK. More information will be announced soon on our website(www.emcok.kr) and our official instagram().

The record of the participants who have applied for the auditions already will remain as it is until 2022 AUDITION resumes. The rankers of the past QUINTILES(Q1~Q3) will be announced with the new participants who will be applying when 2022 AUDITION resumes. Please stay tuned for the announcement of the new schedule of 2022 AUDITION.

✔ WHAT IS QUINTILE?
Quintile = Preliminary Rounds

✔ AUDITION DETAILS
- EMCOK Audition Season 1 has 5 preliminary rounds (1Q ~ 5Q).

- Audition participants have to prepare and submit the preliminary audition works during the applying term, and after the work is officially uploaded for the evaluation of global viewers and EMCOK Judges, around 15 runner ups from each quilntile will proceed to the next round (semi-finals).

-75 semi-finalists will produce a video of their work that according to the given subject and submit their works to EMCOK within the specified period. (Top 15 will be determined and proceed to finals)

-The final winner of Season 1 will be determined from New Year’s K-pop Online Concert, performed by 15 final runner-ups (Field A TOP10, Field B TOP5) and Korean celebrities.

Event #1 Evaluation Progress Instructions:

1. Basic Elements
▶ Participants must have more than 1,000 views of the video for an average of more than 1 minute watch time to be qualified for evaluation.
▶ In order for the like/dislike ratio to be reliable, at least 1,000 people must have an average of 1 minute or more watch time.
▶ No matter how many views there are, if the average viewing time does not exceed 1 minute, the score of the like/dislike ratio will not be reflected.

▶ TOP 30 will be announced based on the score of the like/dislike ratio.
▶ From this day on, you will be given the ability to write comments on TOP 30 videos.

2021-2022 EMCOK AUDITION
★ AUDITION PROCESS ★

▶ STEP 1. Submit your work

- Submit your audition work/piece(s) through your application form in our official website > emcok.kr

- You can submit your work through 3 WAYS from the safe & comfortable home!

- Choose 1 submission method from below:

1. COPY&PASTE your audition video link

2. UPLOAD your audition video

3. SAVE your audition video in USB DRIVE and ship it to us through PARCEL

▶ STEP 2. Publishing of audition videos
- Submitted audition videos will be re-edited and uploaded on out official Youtube & Youku channel, "EMCOK Online Audition"

▶ STEP 3. Assessment
- Candidates of each quintiles (Q1~Q5) will be judged through total view counts and likes of their audition videos.

▶ STEP 4. Nomination
- Field A Top 10 & Field B Top 5 candidated of each quantiles will be nominated.
- Those who were eliminated in 1Q~4Q are eligible to re-apply right away in the next quantile.

▶ STEP 5. Final Casting
- The final winner and 14 rankers will be elected and announced through December settlement.
- Preparation for the New Year's World Concert will be started.
