[International Peace Act discussed in DPCW handbook]
Since November and February, 10 legal experts and 34 legal students have been discussing the 'DPCW Handbook Discussion Project' through the Common People's Act (ELCOPE) of Bangladesh and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJP Rohilkhand University) in India.
The main objective is to help legal students and citizens around the world contribute to the understanding of the values and spirit of peace through the DPCW curriculum and to realize peace through the development of international norms for ending the war and for establishing international peace. The project is being run not only by legal students in Afghanistan, Tunisia, Romania and the world but also in Bangladesh and India.
The Declaration of Peace and Engagement of War (DPCW) was prepared by international legal experts to improve the current international law on the elimination of the use of forces and guaranteeing international peace as well as limitations and guarantees of international peace. Through this project, the lawyers have realised that peace should be maintained so that mankind can enjoy it permanently not only in our own country but all over the world.
