Like Feuerwear, Elvis & Kresse is another brand that makes handbags and accessories out of recycled fire hoses. Based in the UK, they are always on the lookout for alternative recycled materials to incorporate into their designs. We would suggest billboards and street banners, but then again, that’s just us.

Today one of our members had the pleasure of taking part in a promotional event organized by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO). Given the holidays in Japan and China (Golden Week and Labor Day), many Japanese and Chinese tourists are currently visiting Korea. KTO CEO Lee Charm and several volunteers distributed souvenirs to tourists around the Myeongdong area while welcoming them to Korea.

During Seoul Fashion Week, one of our designers had the pleasure of meeting renowned Korean Designer Lie Sang B**g. Combining elements of both Korean and French fashion, his designs have been worn by both American and Korean celebrities alike. Back in 2006, he introduced several Hangeul designs in Paris, which were well received. Most recently he’s also created a lot of buzz for painting his models’ faces brown at the latest fashion shows in Paris and Seoul.
