Korea's Ministry of Labor and Employment has increased the quota of 10,000 foreign workers for 2023.
Now, within this year, Korea is going to bring a total of 120,000 foreign workers.

Information‼️

For the year 2024, the minimum wage has been fixed at 9,860 won. This wage was determined by the meeting of the Minimum Wage Consultative Committee held yesterday. According to the fixed salary, now it will be 20,60,740 won (209 hours) per month.

Compared to 2023, it has increased by 2.5 percent, i.e. 240 per hour. The increased salary will be effective from January 1, 2024.

🔅Some people still seem to be confused, which is why I would like to reiterate this brief information about the labor selection process shown in your EPS ID.⤵️

🔸Showing mediation while checking your eps id means that the employer is looking at your file.

🔸If you get selected by the same employer, it shows Hired after some time.
Then your name will be issued and the rest of the process goes on.

🔸If not selected, then the mediation will disappear and the same process will be started by another employer again.

The Ministry of Justice has announced that the validity period for CCVI has been extended
until 2022.

The following rules apply:

Confirmation of visa issuance that was valid as of the enforcement date (June 27, 2022): The validity period has been extended by 6 months from the expiration date.

Issued visa issuance certificate between June 27, 2022, and December 31, 2022: The validity period is 12 months from the issuance date.

However, please note that CCVI issued from January 1, 2023, have a valid period of "3 months", as it was before the pandemic. Please keep this in mind when applying

The salary of workers in Korea has increased‼️

The wages of workers who came to South Korea through the Employment Permit System (EPS) have increased.
With the new year, the salary of the workers working here will increase by 5 percent compared to the previous year and will receive 9,620 WON per hour, while the monthly minimum wage will be 20,10,580 WON.
