This year was a good year!
After winning J-Wave Award at .official, we thought hard on what film we could do for this money prize. So many ideas! Finally we decided to try a new medium for us - animation. Mad respect to everyone who works in this field. It’s not an easy job at all 🙌 It took us a year to finish this animated short film but nonetheless we finished and we are proud of it. It’s really fascinating to see our dreams and ideas to come true. Because the director and writer of this film - Shamir Raiapov wrote the story when he was 14 years old. He was told to read books during summer holidays but somehow with all those fun out there he didn’t manage to do it and when asked to write about books he read, he decided to make up this story… which brought tears to the eyes of the teacher. Of course the teacher was upset when found out such story didn’t exist in books but complimented that he wrote such a touching story. And now almost 15 years after, this story have come to life thanks to talented artists.
