I have been listening to Draw Me Close; itā€™s an old worship song, but a beautiful one. Itā€™s a song that reflects a strong desire for a closer relationship with God. Itā€™s a heartfelt prayer for intimacy with Himā€”to be drawn nearer to Him. And I felt this need to share a heartfelt encouragement for those who deeply yearn for a closer relationship with God but are struggling with the ā€˜how.ā€™ So, it is my hope that this post encourages you to take that ā€˜worth itā€™ step toward Him. šŸ«¶

Hello, friends! ā˜ŗļø No devotional this week, but I do want to share these five insights I have gained from God as a 24-year-old girl. Each point represents a realization Iā€™ve had about Godā€™s nature and my relationship with Him. It is my hope that this post offers encouragement and understanding to those my age or if youā€™re going through a similar stage in life.

If younger or older, you can share what youā€™ve learned from God. šŸ„° Letā€™s learn from each other.

Hopefully, Iā€™ll put out a devotional this coming week.

God bless you! šŸ’•

Weekly Devotional #7
Title: Come to the Altar: You are not too far gone

Whenever you feel the weight of shame pulling you away from God, let this devotional remind you: His grace is more than enough to cover every sin and every mistake. You are welcome to come to Him just as you are, and in His arms, you will find healing and hope.

More verses to reflect on:
šŸŒ· 1 John 1:9: ā€œIf we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.ā€

šŸŒ· Isaiah 1:18: ā€œCome now, let us settle the matter,ā€ says the Lord. ā€œThough your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.ā€

May you find rest and renewal in His grace today. God bless you! šŸ’•

Title: Finding Peace Beyond the Noise: A Devotional for When Youā€™re Stuck in Your Mind

Anxiety can feel overwhelming. It creeps into our hearts and minds, filling us with worry and fear. In moments of uncertainty, itā€™s easy to be consumed by anxious thoughts about the future, our health, relationships, or finances.

When anxiety threatens to overwhelm you, remember that God invites you to bring your concerns to Him in prayer. He is not distant or indifferent to your struggles but desires to exchange your fears for His peace. As you pour out your heart to Him, be intentional about thanking Him for His faithfulness in the past and trusting Him for His provision in the future.

May this devotional encourage you! God bless you! šŸ’•

Weekly Devotional #4
Title: The Profound Love of Jesus: A Sacrifice Beyond Measure

As I thought about what to talk about in this devotional, I really wanted to focus on why Jesusā€™ sacrifice is so important and how much He loves us. This topic means a lot to me because itā€™s at the heart of why I believe in Jesus. I wanted to dig deeper into it to show just how big Jesusā€™ love is for us.

When I read John 3:16, it made me want to explain how amazing Godā€™s love is because He gave His Son for us. This verse is what Christianity is all about ā€” it shows how much God loves us and wants us to have eternal life with Him. Itā€™s a message that never gets old and speaks straight to our hearts.

Understanding how much Jesus gave up for us can change how we live. It reminds us that we matter to God and that He would do anything to bring us back to Him. This truth has made a big difference in my own life, shaping how I see things and how I act.

By sharing this devotional, I want to help others see just how much God loves them and how Jesusā€™ sacrifice can change their lives too. Itā€™s a message of hope, forgiveness, and love that I think everyone needs to hear. I hope that by talking about it together, we can all feel even more thankful for the love that God has shown us.

God bless you! šŸ’•

Title: Trusting in Godā€™s Provision

Itā€™s easy to become consumed by worries about the future; yet, amidst the chaos, there lies a reassuring message of hope and trust.

So, may this devotion encourage you to pause and reflect on the profound truth that God, our loving Creator, is faithful to provide for all our needs.

God bless you! šŸ’•

WEEKLY DEVOTION #2
Title: Everyday Worship: Honoring God in the Simple Moments

I have decided to talk about this topic for this devotion because it really connects with me and reflects something Iā€™ve learned in my faith journey: the importance of everyday worship. Itā€™s easy to think of faith as something we only do on Sundays or during special times. But I wanted to discuss how worship should be a part of everything we do, even the little things.

1 Corinthians 10:31, reminds us that every small task or moment can be a chance to honor God. This idea has changed how I see my daily life. Now, even simple chores feel meaningful because I see them as ways to show my love for God.

The devotionā€™s message about worshipping in everyday moments really strikes a chord with me. It inspires me to live out my faith genuinely in everything I do.

And I wanted to share this because I think itā€™s a powerful message that can help others too. Itā€™s about finding God in the ordinary moments of life and letting those moments draw us closer to Him. This devotion speaks to my own journey, and I believe it can speak to anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with God.

God bless you! šŸ’•

Dear Beloved,

In every breath, in every heartbeat, may our souls resound with one purpose: to glorify the great I AM.

In the depths of our joys and the heights of our trials, let us fix our gaze upon the greatness of our Creator. For it is in His light that we find true fulfillment, and in His love that we discover our deepest purpose.

May our lives be a symphony of praise, each note echoing the splendor of our God. Let every word we speak and every deed we do be a reflection of His infinite grace and boundless mercy.

As we journey onward, may our hearts overflow with gratitude for the countless blessings bestowed upon us. May we never cease to proclaim the goodness of the great I AM, for His love endures forever.

In all things, may His name be exalted, and His glory be made known to all the earth. For He alone is worthy of all honor, all praise, and all adoration.

Let us live each day with one aim: to glorify the great I AM with all that we are and all that we do.

With hearts ablaze for His glory,
Jaymin Faith šŸ’•

As Christians, speaking words of life is paramount, echoing the character of Christ and embodying His teachings of love and truth. However, speaking words of life to ourselves is equally important as speaking them to others. As Christians, speaking words of life to ourselves involves grounding our inner dialogue in the truth of Godā€™s Word and His promises for our lives. It means reminding ourselves of our identity in Christ, acknowledging that we are loved, forgiven, and redeemed through His sacrifice. By speaking words of life to ourselves, we affirm our worth as children of God, reminding ourselves that we are fearfully and wonderfully made for a purpose. This inner dialogue of faith and affirmation strengthens our spiritual resilience, helps us overcome doubt and discouragement, and empowers us to live out Godā€™s calling with confidence and boldness.

So, say them with me! ā˜ŗļø

Godā€™s goodness is like a gentle breeze on a hot day, bringing relief and comfort. Itā€™s the hand that guides us through lifeā€™s challenges and the smile that brightens our darkest moments. Dear friend, may these steps serve as a guiding light on your journey of faith. šŸ„°

1. Prayer: Open your heart to God through prayer. Share your struggles, doubts, and fears with Him. He is always listening and ready to offer comfort and guidance. So turn to Him in prayer, acknowledging your weaknesses and asking for His help. As it says in Psalm 121:2, ā€œMy help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.ā€

2. Scripture: Delve into the Word of God. Seek wisdom and strength through reading the Bible. Let His promises renew your spirit and remind you of His unfailing love. Spend time daily reading and meditating on Scripture to align your thoughts with His truth. In Romans 12:2, weā€™re reminded, ā€œDo not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.ā€

3. Community: Surround yourself with fellow believers who can offer support, encouragement, and accountability. Share your struggles with a trusted brother or sister in Christ. James 5:16 encourages us to ā€œconfess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.ā€ Having someone to hold you accountable and pray with you can provide strength and support.

4. Repentance: Acknowledge your mistakes and sins before God. True repentance involves a genuine desire to turn away from those things that separate you from Him and to walk in His ways. (Acts 3:19)

5. Avoidance: Identify the temptations and behaviors that lead you away from God, and actively avoid them. Whether itā€™s certain places, people, habits, or thoughts, strive to distance yourself from anything that hinders your relationship with Him. Follow the example of Joseph, who fled from Potipharā€™s wife (Genesis 39:12). Avoid situations or triggers that lead you into temptation, and instead, seek out environments and activities that draw you closer to God.

6. Grace: Remember that Godā€™s grace is abundant and sufficient for you. Even when you stumble, His love remains constant. Embrace His forgiveness and allow it to empower you to move forward in faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, and He will lead you safely through. šŸ«¶

What is the ultimate example of selfless love? Jesus who died on the cross in order to atone for everyoneā€™s sins, including those who mocked and scorned Him.

He paid the price. The suffering that should have been ours, He took it upon Himself. He died so that we may live! šŸ’•

Despite all our shortcomings, God remained patient, forgiving, and faithful. Every day we fall short of His gloryā€”undeserving of His love. Yet, He remained loving. Not once did He forsake us. Even in the silence, He stayed by us. His arms remained wide open to embrace us if ever we choose to return home. He sent His one and only Son to die on the Cross for our sinsā€”it is through Jesus that we are able to unite with God. Through Jesus, we are gifted forgiveness, new life, and eternal salvation. No other love can ever compare to this. With that, God can have my ā€˜forever.ā€™

As Valentineā€™s Day draws near, may we be reminded of the greatest love we have ever been gifted.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:38-39 (I recommend that you read v. 31-39)
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from Godā€™s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrowā€”not even the powers of hell can separate us from Godā€™s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth belowā€”indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

His love is better than silver, better than gold, better than anything Iā€™ve ever known. šŸ¤

03/02/2024

I used to wonder what it really looks like to be Kingdom-mindedā€”what are the things that others might notice about us as Christians? Let me share with you what I have learned.

First, it means keeping God at the heart of everything we doā€”this is being conscious of our behavior and determining whether it exalts Him or not.

We can enter Proverbs 3:5 here, ā€œTrust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.ā€ Being Kingdom-focused is acknowledging God in every moment, big or smallā€”every thought and action rooted in Christ.

To be Kingdom-minded also means prioritizing Godā€™s plans over our own. Letting His Will be done. And making it our goal to spread Godā€™s love, peace, joy, and grace in order to advance His Kingdom.

Someone who is Kingdom-minded thinks differently than others, because they donā€™t conform to the pattern of this world. It is realizing that we arenā€™t citizens of this world but citizens of Heavenā€”Godā€™s children.

Not being in control was one of the hardest things I've had to accept when I first started seeking Jesus. It frustrated me that not everything can go my way.

But one of the greatest things that I have realized isā€¦.I may not fully know where God is taking me, I may not be in control, but I know I am in GOOD HANDSā€”He knows exactly what He is doing. He knows whatā€™s good for me. šŸ¤ AND FOR YOU.

May this serve as your weekly reminder šŸ„°
