Hey there, friend! Thanks for stopping by. I am Megs -- (almost) 30 year old wife and mama to three wild munchkins. I dreamt up this boutique years before I even realized how much of a dream of mine it would truly come to be. After our third child was born in November of 2018, I slipped back into a very scary state of postpartum depression and anxiety. This state of living was all too common as I have dealt with PPD and anxiety since our first son was born in 2014. I spent the rest of 2018 in a trance like state, mindlessly getting through the days. January 2019 came and my husband encouraged me to find my passion and go for it. He reminded me that I am allowed to be more than only a mother and that I can continue to have dreams outside of raising my family. I dived in headfirst as a way to really offset reality and give myself something to focus on and to be excited about. The boutique quickly went from a fun side hustle to a full time gig in June 2019, and here we are today -- growing and learning more daily about how to better serve our amazing ladies! We are so glad that you are here and want to be a part of our fun tribe! When I started the boutique, I’ll admit that while yes I wanted to help women feel their best and confident in what they wore - I was primarily working the boutique as a way to provide an outlet for my own mental health. Once I started seeing the mental benefit of working a business and getting myself outside of my home, I knew that God had bigger plans in store for our boutique. Listen, I get it. As women, we have the weight of the world on our shoulders. Whether you are a stay at home mother, an independent career woman, a working mom, or a single lady slaying the particular industry in which you are in -- we are all almost required to have it all together at all times. When I first began struggling with my mental health in 2014, I felt so alone. I didn’t know anyone in my close circle that could relate with me. I felt like I was broken in some way and couldn’t possibly measure up to all of the other women that seemingly had it all together at all times. Oh, sister. None of us have it all together. It’s taken me building this boutique from the ground up to realize that we are all just floating about in this big world everyday trying our best to make ourselves proud of the legacy that we leave behind. If I am able to help reach at least one woman through the platform of my boutique, then this entire journey will have been worth it! God has given me an amazing platform through this industry to reach other women, and my goal is to use it to glorify Him. As a young girl, I experienced some things I pray no young woman ever has to encounter in their lifetime. I’ve gone from abusive homes, to being homeless, to having no hope or self-esteem. It took me years to understand that my worth lies in Jesus, and that I am a woman worth fighting for! You, my sweet girl, are also just as worthy and loved by God. I hope to be able to share my background, story, and perseverance of overcoming the worst and rising above it to inspire other women. My hope for you reading this is that you know how loved, chosen, and wanted you are! When I am not doing all things boutique - I am spending time with my three wild kiddos (5, 3, and 1) and my husband. Life is chaos 100% of the time, but I wouldn’t know what to do if that were not the case! I’ve always loved singing, and you can find me at church on Sunday Mornings with the Worship Team (and usually my daughter up there with me dancing about in a tutu praising the Lord, haha). I am the biggest goof ball you will meet, and sarcasm is my true language. I love all things true crime and I am always listening to a new podcast or watching Dateline. xoxo, Megs
