#marchmeetthemaker day 1 - my brand origin! Many of you don’t know, but Couch McDoodles started as a school project in one of my social media marketing class. I had to post multiple times a week and I loved painting and creating so I figured this would help me make time for something I love. My husband helped me come up with the name. I doodle and I usually do it while sitting on my couch. Perfect! Fast forward a few months later, the lovely 2020 and I am home all the time and not working. One of my friends from high school started doing digital art and I loved it. So I bought an iPad. I would spend hours drawing pictures. Discovered I love drawing flowers. Put family pictures together. Decided I wanted to create physical products and that stickers would be a good place to start. My style has changed since the beginning but I am so happy for what my little business is becoming!

Okay first of all. Let me say that I absolutely LOVE my baby. I think he is teething and just wanted to be held all day. I needed to get a few things done today like work on a custom piece and load the dishwasher and a million other things. But, before all things I am a mom! It’s something I have waited my whole life to do which is why I love being able to stay at home with him!And don’t you worry. I was able to finish that custom piece during his naps, loaded the dishwasher after he fell asleep for the night, and get a few things done. There is ALWAYS going to be a list of things to do. This is Seeley. Seeley enjoys playing with the herding ball. Every other toy that she’s had that claims to be “indestructible” dies within 20 minutes…at most a month. This lasted a year and isn’t meant to be picked up, but she is able to accomplish anything she puts her mind to! If your dog is a herding dog and you want to purchase this ball for her, I’ll send you a link. (It’s not an affiliate link, I just know that Seeley enjoys it!
