The county government of Uasin Gishu has announced a raft of changes in bus terminus.
Eldoret main stage will be left for matatus to Western Kenya and Nairobi. All matatus from Mosoriot, Kapsabet and Kisumu will terminate at Pioneer.
Langas, Burnt Forest and Lessos matatus will continue to operate from their normal terminus.
A new stage has been established near Unga Limited next to Wagon hotel for all matatus to Munyaka, Kuinet, Ziwa, Junction, Marura , Chepkanga and related routes.
All matatus to Eldama Ravine, Metkei, Nyaru and Flax will have a new stage near Moi Girls High School.
Chief Officer Rotich said that Government will provide lighting and security for passangers in the evenings and night.
All matatu saccos leadership have agreed that they will provide water, sanitizers and soap for their passengers.
They have also stressed that these changes will not cause any increase in fare.
