Connected to the Earth
Disconnected from social media

Foraging in the forest
Hugging the trees
Connecting with people like me


Embracing the beauty
Of nature and the world around us

Bells on my ankles
Pain in my feet
An even deeper pain in my heart
Tears befell me upon these lands


The 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙨 𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 weekend nourished my soul
and allowed me to fully feel
The impact of these past few weeks
The overwhelming feeling of "what if"?

What if I lose my beloved Big brother
to this awful dis-ease?

I lost both my parents to cancer
I don't want to lose my brother too

Not now

Not yet

He's only 57 years young


I'm in that weird in-between space
Where you're told to expect it
To prepare for the worst
It's not a fun place to be

How can you ever fully prepare yourself to lose a loved one ?

You can't


I've been grieving in the expectation of ...

Try as I might,
To focus on the positive


Seeing him struggle
Is really hard to witness
And I feel so helpless

I had reiki & reflexology sessions
I sat in ceremony
I lay down
I was present with all my feelings
I cried
I wailed
I preyed

I implored God, Spirit ...

NOT to take him from me

For him to heal back to wellness

I dance with the idea

that he will recover from this

It's a clumsy kinda dance

My footing as unsteady as his

Can we choreograph a dance that continues ?


Words like "terminal" and "end of life"
abound amongst the medical and caring staff

They don't care much about their language
and choice of words

A journey might end at a train terminal

AND you can always get off that track and continue your journey

It doesn't have to be the end of a chapter

I hold on to that hope


When I saw him on Tuesday
He was on the floor again
He has had multiple falls now
waiting 4-5 hours for Paramedics


Michael has been on one-hell-of-a cancer journey
The GMB has him paralysed on his left side
Mobility challenges and being stuck is pretty awful
He has carers going in 4 times a day
Hospice at home visiting him twice a day


I gave him permission "to Go"
Apparently, some people need to hear that from a loved one

He took me by the hand
Squeezed it
Looked directly at me with his big blue eyes
It was an emotional moment
As he lay on the floor
Incapable of getting up unassisted


He's not ready to go
And I'm not ready to Lose him
You're never ready really, are you?


I cared for him whilst in the uk for 2 weeks

I'd ask him,

"what can I get you"?

"A new head" was his reply


"What do you want to eat" I asked

"A crocodile sandwich, and make it snappy" he said 😂


I have so much love for my brother

We don't know which way this is going to go
It's Unknown
What I'm seeing and what I'm hearing isn't good

Yet I know that every possibility is out there in the Vortex


I'm crying as I write this

Connecting to my heart

Feeling deep gratitude for my big brother

🌟 WHY? 🌟
What is my why?

Why am I building an online empire?


🌟 FOR MY SON 🌟

Raphaël has never had a penny or a $
of support from his Dad
or his paternal family,
and my Dad left him nothing when he passed


I have raised him single-handedly
on one income without family support for 15 years,
sacrificed spending time with him to do so,
keeping down a J.O.B to pay the bills and provide for him


J.O.B stands for Just Over Broke,
and I was,
for many years
before
I found this
online business
& worked
on
my
money
story!


I want my son to have financial security,
to be able to pursue whatever he chooses,
to have a life of more CHOICE,
whether that be studying at Uni later,
or travel and whatever he wishes
to experience without limitations


Oh and he wants more Lego
He loves building Lego!!
We need an entire room
Just to display his Lego!!


Already as tall as me,
and fully expecting another growth spurt,
he will need longer trousers
and bigger footwear in September
and again and again


🌟 FOR MY BROTHER 🌟

My BIG Bro', Mike,
lost his home
with the demise of his relationship
with the mother of his two daughters


Living in a bedsit for a while,
a flat that got flooded and now a flat
that is far from many of his friends,
but affordable


He is a master at

designing
planning
crafting
creating
fixing
repairing
D.I.Y
And anything
He puts
His mind to really
He is a man of action
He's a fisherman too

And

I want him
to have a home by the sea
close to his friends
with several garages
so he can tinker
with his tools
and the kit car he is building


🌟 FOR MY COMMUNITY 🌟

I wish to help local businesses
and local people in my community

I have already done this to some capacity
and it is my intention
to do this on a bigger scale...
making real food available
to larger numbers
within the community
from low to no income families
and individuals in need


Because I've been there
and I know what is is like to struggle
and to have no food to eat


Not even money to pay
for a cup of coffee at a café,
and the food supplied wasn't nutritional,
it was processed cardboard crap
high in sugar and super unhealthy


Inspired by seeing a big truck
transformed into a mobile shower space
somewhere in the USA,
one of my big goals
is my intention to replicate this
so regular washing facilities
are at the disposal of marginalised individuals
living on the streets in the city,
offering clean clothes and personal care


🌟 FOR THE PEOPLE 🌟

There is actually enough food to feed the world

It just needs to get in their hands to their mouths
with the help from people with big hearts who truly care

Tony Robbins has already shown the way -
He has provided over 500 million meals
for families across America


Everyone has the right
to access clean drinking water


Since the beginning
of a collaboration in 2022,
my online community
at The Freedom Era
have collectively donated $25,434
to Charity Water, a non-profit
that is changing the lives
of thousands of people,
and we're only just getting started!


Food and drink are basic fundamentals for all,
they ought not be an exclusive commodity

Come share my bread,
Eat at my table!

Well, I don't have a big enough table

How about planting fruit trees everywhere🌳
that people can pick and help themselves from?!


I don't have trust and good faith
in any government
to do the best for the people


I believe the best is to come
from individuals who have created wealth,

about humanity and the planet


Something deep within me
is calling me to lead myself
with a desire to contribute
making the world a better place

I've spent years in corporate
working for someone else
feeling unfulfilled in an office space

I wanted more than the annual holiday allowance
offered to an employee


I want to live a life I truly LOVE
.. instead of wondering

Could I even live off my pension
after another 10+ years of working
in a job that isn't "me" ?


I want to set myself free from renting
and invest in a property I love
and get to decorate and furnish it to my taste

I have never experienced this!


I have lived in small flats
for more than 25 years
And I am desiring my own home
Bricks and mortar that I own


I am a country girl at heart
with a passion for textiles
and travel and aesthetics
and horses
and my soul is crying out
for more space

A shuttered property
with a country garden
surrounded by trees

wisteria
alliums
hollyhocks
peonies
foxgloves

and the time to be with nature
and play in my wild garden
and be more creative
to paint, to crochet
and knit with my wool stash
to throw around some clay
and create sculptures

having a red cocker spaniel
dog to roam by my side


I also want a little piece of Paris
since I love the culture of this city


As a solo parent,
we live on the 7th floor of an 8 storey high rise block
with limited space in the 12th arrondissement


No view of the Eiffel Tower from here!

I sacrificed the living room
to gain a 2nd bedroom
instead of having
to make up a sofa bed every night
and our front room
is literally the entrance hall,
so it's small and dark
and when Raphaël's friends come over,
it's either the kitchen,
the bedroom or my office for me!


I desire a Paris duplex in a leafy courtyard
with an extra bedroom
so I can have friends over to stay
rather than offering them my sofa
at the entrance
with room for a full dining table
to sit down and eat together


🌟 FOR MY RELLIES 🌟

Having experienced a fractured family
for over 2 decades now,
as an avid researcher of my family tree,
I've discovered and connected
with quite a number of blood relatives
living in the

UK
Ireland
America
and Australia


I've met a few
and it would bring me great JOY
to organise an event
for as many of us as possible
to get together
to meet and celebrate each other

When Mum died, Dad sold
my maternal grandparents home
as well as our 4 bedroom family home
so he could buy an even bigger property
with more land and his lady


They married 1 week before he passed
knowing he was terminal
He bequeathed me, my brother
and the 3 adult children of his widow
each the same sum when he passed

No property share
Nothing for his 3 grandchildren
No trust fund
No Legacy

NAAAAA-DAAAAAAH !!!!

Legacy to me,
means taking care
Of the next generation

Off to London again

My big bro’ starts a new protocol on his journey with cancer and this box is part of it

I refused a mammogram
It's my own personal choice
I've been having them SINCE I WAS 24 years old !!
Because I'm considered "high risk"
I say Bo****ks to that
I just don't believe it!


We blindly believe whatever "they" tell us, don't we?

Until we start questioning what we really believe

Over here questioning a lot of my beliefs!


Yes, my mum died from breast cancer in 1992.. well brain tumor killed her, but technically breast cancer was the first sign

Yes, my dad died from prostate cancer in 2020

Both went the full medical « standard of care » route

Yes, my brother is on a cancer journey as I write


AND

No, my maternal grandmother did not have breast cancer,
nor did she die from cancer

AND

No, my paternal grandmother did not have breast cancer,
nor did she die from cancer
She died from a broken heart 💔


Yes, it’s really a thing
Grandad Horace died earlier that year
Winifred literally went upstairs, lay down and left her body during the Royal Wedding in 1981, as Diana said « I do »
Winnie didn’t want to live without her Beloved

So, No, I don't believe I'm high risk
And I’m taking individual responsibility for my health

I believe we can write our own story

I believe we can alter our DNA

I believe living a healthy low-tox lifestyle counters A LOT

I believe in the heart ❤️ & 🧠 mind connection

It has a lot to do with our thoughts 💭 our beliefs and our emotions


The healthcare system has very little to do with health
And a lot to do with dis-ease screening
Mammograms also create false positives

I signed a waiver form so the practitioner
"wouldn't get into trouble"

I had an Ecogram instead

"All good" she said

as she left my chest smothered in gel

« I know » I replied

I knew it would be

I AM healthy !!


The last mammograms I had on record
were in 2004, 2009, 2012 and 2013

Before that, I was having mammograms every 2-3 years

And now I make choices that are right for me


I choose to live a low-tox lifestyle

I don’t smoke (I quit over 20 years ago)

I eat healthy, nutritional food
(most of the time)

I eat foods high in antioxidants

I keep my body hydrated

I drink hydrogen water

I don't stress - well ok catching a flight can be a bit stressful 😂

I regulate my nervous system


I've a high performance air filter at home so we're breathing in cleaner air than most people

I do a water fast at least once a year so my body gets to detox and atophogy regenerates damaged DNA 🧬


I'm not advocating that women should refuse mammograms

It's a personal choice

Make your own decision

You do you

I'm not telling you how to live your life

Just how I am choosing to live mine

Take your own counsel
Do your own due diligence
Listen to your body
Our bodies « know »
Make decisions that are right for you


I do believe our health is really in our own hands

I believe the body can heal itself
