This is a guarantee issued as a part of supply bidding process by the contractor to the the Project owner. It is a guarantee that the winning bidder will undertake the contract under the terms under which they bid. The Bond terms and features is as follows;
Features: • Term - 30 days to 180 days
Charges - 0.5% one-off, minimum Kes 2,000
Security: • For amounts of Kes 10,000,000 and below – no security is required for clients with accounts in the bank
For amounts above Kes 10,000,000 it is (conventional security or cash)
