"I remember falling to my knees and saying, ‘God, why have you forgotten about me? Why am I being punished so much?’ McDonough recalled. "And as soon as those words came out of my mouth, I realized what self-absorbed questions those were. God has given me so much. We all experience challenges in our lives. I should be grateful – and thankful – for all the blessings I’m given."

Remember as a critical thinker & creative thinker (the theme of the upcoming TPOOPA letter), you need to watch on your FAITH.

19 Months.

This is the age a terrible disease attacked her. "There's no way can survive this. She will die" Her family and even the doctor were 100% convinced so.

She did not die.

But the disease left her permanently BOTH BLIND AND DEAF.

But she never allowed her circumstance limit her.

You'll get more in the TPOOPA letter which is dedicated on critical thinking and creative thinking.

TPOOPA: You can (and should) grow your own organic food

DOUBTER (with a wrinkled face and sharp big red eyes): Really?

Successfully did it on potatoes and as part of critical and creative thinking upcoming issue of TPOOPA, it will be there.

No need of oversaying here.

77.

To some, this is a number with two similar digits.

But allow me to tell you of a man who was born only 2 years after the brutal second world war.

1947.
And if you didn't sleep in your arithmetic afternoon lessons, you can see he is already seventy-seven years old as of 2024.

He is still alive. breathing. walking upright. With all teeth intact. Eating hard grains (githeri) without complaining.

I never knew he would one day call me aside and allow me to learn one or two lessons from his hardships as a servant of the people.

But not under a Mugumo tree (Gikuyu holy tree) or thingira (the traditional Gikuyu man's residence).

No.

He did it in pen and paper and in the mother tongue.

In total, 110 pages+ of an A4 size book. Not very common among most men that age. A number of men that age are either chasing young girls the age of their grand-daughters, if they are lucky to have money, or fighting some court battles defending a 30 centimeter footpath from a gluttonous and soil-thirsty neighbour.

If lucky to be good hearted, of which there are, they are unfortunately withering in make-shifts sick beds at nursing homes or homes for the aged.

But those looking back at their life, though having no much possessions under their name, but with thanksgiving having lived an honest life as practically possible, live to tell tales that would otherwise have died.

This 77 years old man is one.

And one thing I have learnt so far from his story is how hard it is to forget even the minutest details of a rejection.

The word is rejection.

And to put it into brief perspective, here is why you need to ask yourself these two questions (1) why? and (2) why not? as you'll see in the upcoming TPOOPA Letter (Entire volume is dedicated to critical thinking and creative thinking)

And this is it.

When people hear the word "university" mentioned, and "research" and followed by some figures" or "statistics" most simply join the praise and worship choir blindly and decide to take the gospel far and wide without any questioning.

And you better listen to Richard now in his "59 Seconds: Think a Little, Change a Lot" book.

And as you listen to him, remember to keep vigil for the upcoming provocative letter (the best TPOOPA has produced so far for the selected few. To not be in the dark, use this Email: [email protected])

Is more fatter wallet the surest path to happiness?

You may wish to find out more in Richard Wise Man's book "59 Seconds: Think a Little, Change A lot"

But whether you decided to look for Richard or not (which is up to you), it is good to know that the upcoming TPOOPA Letter addresses something on happiness in its running theme which is Critical thinking and creative thinking.

Too bad if I hadn't let you aware of this. (To not miss, use this: [email protected])

"Why?"
"Why Not?"

These two simple questions from the surface form the foundation of the upcoming TPOOPA Letter since the theme of the letter is "Critical Thinking" and "Creative Thinking"

And until you learn how to ask yourself those two questions, someone will still take advantage of your ignorance.

Take for instance something I grew up believing without questioning.

KNOWLEDGE.

And it seems to have originated from a philosopher i highly respect called Sir Francis Bacon who said the following on knowledge: "Knowledge itself is power"

But a girl who became both blind and deaf at the age of 19 months made me start questioning almost everything. On knowledge, this girl Helen Keller, in her book "The Story of My Life" said something which had to replace Bacon in my mind forcefully.

"Knowledge," she said, "is love and light and vision." Well it may not have the same impact as it did for me, but you'll see in the TPOOPA letter more. But that understanding of knowledge felt liberating in my soul.

And the knowledge you require is not just any knowledge. It is, as Helen puts it further in the book, the true knowledge.

True knowledge.

And this is how to acquire true knowledge in Helen's own words:

Helen Keller, the girl who became both blind and deaf at age 19 months, but overcame her situation talks about something...

Helen Keller, the girl who became both blind and deaf at age 19 months, but overcame her situation talks about something the learned are guilty of.

In fact, it also applies to other araes in life, not just books as you'll find in the coming TPOOPA letter.

Read her words slowly below (Pg. 101 in her book: "The Story of My Life")

===

Many scholars forget, it seems to me, that our enjoyment of the great works of literature depends more upon the depth of our sympathy than upon our understanding. The trouble is that very few of their laborious explanations stick in the memory. The mind drops them as a branch drops its overripe fruit. It is possible to know a flower, root and stem and all, and all the processes of growth, and yet to have no appreciation of the flower fresh bathed in heaven's dew

You can learn from many sources.
Examples: (1) Your Teacher (2) Your situation

Upcoming TPOOPA Letter will focus much on the second one and how it is both an enabler and a catalyst of critical and creative thinking.

She was born healthy.
At age 19 months, an illness attacked her which left her both deaf and blind permanently.

In "The Story of My Life" pg 24, Helen Keller in her own words says the following:

===
I left the well-house eager to learn . Everything
had a name, and each name gave birth to a new
thought. As we returned to the house every object
which I touched seemed to quiver with life . That
was because I saw everything with the strange, new
sight that had come to me.
===

Be on the look out for the upcoming TPOOPA Letter where you'll learn how this young girl's life has become a pillar of hope to students of TPOOPA way of life.

This is becoming more and more awesome.

===
Thus I came up out of Egypt and stood before
Sinai, and a power divine touched my spirit and
gave it sight, so that I beheld many wonders. And
from the sacred mountain I heard a voice which
said, " Knowledge is love and light and vision. "
===

Not "POWER" but read again and underline what Helen Adams Keller is saying on page 29 in her 1903 biography:

" Knowledge is love and light and vision. "

P.S. Helen Adams Keller was struck by a fatal illness at the age of 19 months which left her both permanently blind and deaf. Everyone including her doctor predicted she would not survive. But....

Below are the words of the Archbishop

===start===
While we we there wondering how to communicate to this child who cannot hear and cannot see, we read a book by Helen Keller."
===end===

That book is called "The Story of My Life" There is a 1903 edition online digitized by Google and I highly recommend it for TPOOPA patriots thirsting for ways to overcome life's challenges through critical and creative thinking.

More in the upcoming TPOOPA Letter purely dedicated to Critical & Creative thinking for fellow patriots in TPOOPA.

But in the meantime, an hour a day with Keller will damage so much of your fear and ignorance. (That's the warning)

In this book, Ben Settle, repeated something George wrote in his book "The Richest Man in Babylon" but he did it even better and in a manner likely to never be forgotten.

But in addition to that, he talked about the most important part of a man (Spoiler: It has nothing to do with his body)

The part is also accessible to many. They too can own it, but it requires discipline. Revisit chapter 1 of initiation to TPOOPA for more ways on how to discover, nurture and jealously guard this part which Ben talks about in the book below.

You have the power to update your head without waiting for someone's permission.

But if you find yourself updating your apps once, twice, thrice without updating your head (knowledge base), there is a part of yu are slowly damaging thinking you are the cool dude.

Anyway, update your apps because we are living in an age of constant change.

But you can use the update reminder to BUY that book you've always postponed possessing and read the first 10 pages before hitting "update"

Re-check the 1st Chapter of TPOOPA to bring back this to your memory, if you've been initiated in the TPOOPA way in the past.

Brian Kurtz.

So far, he is the only person whom I recommend to study if you are thirsting for mentorship. First time to hear about him was from Ben Settle.

Not that he will mentor you.

No.

But he will hammer in your head the mindset you need as a MENTEE to benefit from any person you look up to.

One of the "not-so-popular" things I learned from him was this: "You do not choose a mentor. A mentor chooses you."

If you combine Brian's insight on mentorship, with the origin of the word of mentor which you find in the book below, you are then good to go.

P.S. There is no agreed date when the book was written, though most scholars talk of 8th and 7th century BC.

P.P.S. UPDATE: The Road to TPOOPA LETTER is still in progress. Yours, Samuel Waragu (TPOOPA Founder & Trainer]

They are five in number: Decision. Crux. Change. Communication. Action.

Simple to mention them. Until you actually go down on each of them.

How we approach them at TPOOPA is what makes it unique and memorable.

Remember the words of the psalmists: "Eccomi, Signore; vengo per fare la tua volontà."

Late 90s.

Harry Belafonte filled the air. I was young, but just like children in 2024, I knew he was a musician loved by most (especially youngsters then).

It's only in 2023, upon his death that I came to learn Belafonte was the voice behind the popular song "Day-O (Banana Boat Song)".

As we advocate in TPOOPA, my holy curiosity took me far and wide and I came across something generation Z can benefit much from as far as content creation is concerned.

I leave here.

06/06/2024

The first thing we should say is that communication is not very easy as people think. You need to approach each case individually. Not how you did it last year or how your mentor told you to do it.

And this man, 24 years old confirms it.

For anyone else with a similar problem, focus on this six letter word. TIMING. Not so much what you say, how you say it or the medium you'll use, but how you time it.

This is because, breaking the news, or not breaking the news (and later the truth comes out to the public eye) will destroy part of your lovely parent's sanity.

While taking leaders through TPOOPA (you don't need to have a portfolio to consider yourself as a leader. You are already one,) we pay special attention to timing in our communications. And, you too can be part of TPOOPA (contact EMAIL: [email protected])

It all depends on how you look at it.

At different times, many people have seen these books.
However, many people either say nothing about them or if they do, it is just in passing.

But, 2 cases stand out strongly.

First Case:

A man saw these books and remarked loudly, "you need to burn these books. What are they for? And who reads these books anyway?"

Second Case:

A man saw these books, was so much excited, took a photo and said "Waoh! This is awesome. I love old books. I collect old books. I love the history in old books. When I go, I'll tell my daughter that I have found a nice place with old books. We normally collect old books together with her."

You are the judge.

On the same, I have encountered 2 groups of people when it comes to TPOOPA.

There is a small children's book (a story book) which I'm sure has helped this 25-year-old lady if at all she has found her copy. very refreshing full of humor and simple English.

Since not many people give feedback once helped, let's use this opportunity to help another sister with looks issues.

In TPOOPA, we tell public speakers to look for their Becky. A simple concept for those with wounded self-esteem, dwindling confidence, and a full wardrobe of shyness.

And other than public speaking, you can take it further to yourself.

See what you'll get.

30/05/2024

While you thought you were alone, or no one else knew what it meant to walk in your shoes for at least one mile, someone else confessed. As you can see in the attachment, the first five words speak volumes.

While crafting TPOOPA practice, we were aware of this. You can try many things, keep failing, and start to doubt your sanity.

Knowing this as a leader is a basic requirement although unfortunately, it is rarely taught, if you are lucky.

However, in my work life and public life, I have encountered ONLY 2 people who, no matter how you'd like them to join in your vent business, won't.

I've never even encountered any guru, mentor, teacher, or mastermind facilitator discussing it.

Fabian Videla in his book "In "Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success " refers to it.

But on how to implement it, this is up to you. He says: "Do not judge a person without having walked a mile in their shoes."

The 2 people do it best. One is a lady working as a nurse. The other one is a gentleman.

Through TPOOPA, you get to know some mentionable examples where these two unique individuals have influenced major decisions without having to talk much.

You can choose to either exclude yourself from this rare lesson or include yourself for the benefit of your organization. If you desire the latter, talk to Samuel Waragu through EMAIL [email protected].

What moodcon is saying below has so many truths when you consider how people go from being friends to "people we used to know"

It is painful but at the same time truth.

If you find yourself missing in action in XYZ funkie, (replace XYZ with anything you feel having been unfairly left out) know that YOU either EXCLUDED yourself (as opposed to them NOT INCLUDING you)

Think about it.

In the same way, few are called to the TPOOPA lifestyle but only a tiny number of people ends up INCLUDING THEMSELVES.

Recently I read Fabian Videla's book "Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success" and I'm yet to come across an author who have taught the art of including and excluding so well that Fabian.

Through this email ([email protected]) you have the power to either include yourself or exclude yourself.

29/05/2024

Question: What is TPOOPA all about?
Short Answer: It is the power of one put into action.
Long answer: Accessed through TPOOPA Practice but one can first get initiated into the practice at a cost of less than 5 beers.

28/05/2024

Look at this image. It is by Bernhard Rode of 1780. And it becomes easier to see the EFFORTS they had to put in to have the paralytic friend at Capernaum healed. Matthew, Mark, and Luke narrate this moving story. And I love it too much.

And this is why taking a pen and a paper and writing your top 10 friends is very important and afterward ask yourself this: "Can these people I call friends go to this extent to ensure that I stand on my feet once again?"

Standing on feet here is simply figurative. You can fill in with a hole of bitter feelings or experiences you are currently undergoing.

You can do it alone and take 10 years to master it. You can trust the guidance of someone else and do it in 1 year. A case in point is by implementing what Fabian Videla talks about in his bk "Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success".

And if the patience of 1 year is also asking for too much on your side, then you can go for one to months through TPOOPA. (For more, email SAMUEL WARAGU: [email protected])

24/05/2024

Start by reading these 5 sentences. Ignore grammar but focus on the sound.

"You misunderstood me...."
"I was misunderstood...."
"He misunderstood me..."
"They misunderstood me...."
"She misunderstood me...."

Now time for a simple question: "Have you ever found yourself between a rock and a hard place and somehow you mumbled any of these sentences, grinding your teeth?"

If, YES. Thank you. You are normal.

It shows you know how to make mistakes.

And Rob White encourages us to make them if one of our biggest desires is to grow.

Another simple question: "Have you found yourself using any of the sentences again in your defense?"

if YES, listen.

You can have no ill intention at all in how you speak and act, but that is not to mean you are 100% safe.

In fact, a lady or a man who is determined to pin you down, will do whatever it takes to pin you down.

you see, someone may still say you were s*xually harassing them.

another may still say, with a lot of confidence that you insulted them.

It happens.

no matter whether you are the boss or the janitor. No one is immune.

And woe unto you if you are the know-it-all type of a fellow.

You will be caught pants down without your knowledge and before you can say "aaa, eee," you'll already be facing the unforgiving jury of the public court and it will be ugly. This court acts on emotions not logic. Remember that.

By the way,

Attached is a note I came across of a lady who wrote to a man she was so much in love (and in this case, I do not mean the love that is expressed much behind closed doors.) pay attention to how she expresses love, at the same time being distant.

And if that is not enough, Fabian Vidella writes a chapter in his book "Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success" on a lesson he learnt, the hard way, of the difficult customers who loved throwing tantrums like small babies. Anyone finding themselves in a similar situation will know what to do the Fabian way.

It is chapter 26. Particularly, the second half of the chapter.

And if those 2 resources don't quench your thirst, get initiated in the TPOOPA practice for June 2024 and you'll get more and shorten the duration it will take you in mastering of this skill vs if you just decided to do it alone , in your own way.

23/05/2024

While I have no idea whether the person followed up with the friend after receiving the recommendation, there is something else you too need to know.

Ending a week without reading at least one page of a book is a wasted week.

But until you make this a priority and a habit, it will never sink in your head and heart and muscles.

Your muscles will always be crying "oh, I'm tired..." and your mouth will be on the receiving end repeating the chorus with a yawn.

This can be likened to people who have in the past become interested in TPOOPA but were never courageous enough to make the first step despite promising to do so.

Which I'm not saying is abnormal, by the way.
But if we were to go down the rabbit hole and come out with only the Chapter 10 of Fabian Videla's book "Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success" we would summon these people behind the tent.

Towards the end of the chapter, there are two lines which come out very strongly. He says: "Don’t be afraid of taking the first step. Be afraid of the opportunities you will miss if you never decide to take that first step."

There is so much preaching, if we call it that way, in those 2 sentences that if you are courageous enough this time round, you need to "get saved" before the end of the surmon.

And perhaps this is also why, so many people are still very lonely despite being surrounded by very many people, friends and family.

Call it the big irony.

Anyway, if you wish to make the first step towards the TPOOPA lifestyle, you can do it starting June 2024. (Email: [email protected])

22/05/2024

One of the things you'll not find in TPOOPA are quotes for the sake of quotes. But it is not to mean, you won't come across one or another here and there.

What a person who has experienced TPOOPA will tell you is that it has not been put there by accident, if you happen to spot one.

Like this one here "The lifespan of a fake excitement is 2 months. If excitement survives beyond 2months, it’s real. Pursue it." as you'll find out in Chapter 3 of TPOOPA Practice.

We did prove this on 2 different occasions. In fact, one month is the best time to start reading signs properly.

Which I'd advise you to check too as a leader (with or without a portfolio)

Check the people who once hanged on your every word and how cold they've become today?

Check what aspect made them excited about you and your presence and compare that to today.

While doing that, you may find an Agata.

Agata is the wife of Fabian Videla, the author of the book "Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success" and I just fell in love with how he describes his wife. He says: "Agata was the only person who never doubted that I’d succeed in life."

Underline the words: "THE ONLY" but remembering to put it into context. If you don't get it after the third attempt, go down to work on something else.

Better still, get initiated into TPOOPA Practice (open to few leaders for JUNE 2024. Email: [email protected])

When TPOOPA was launched, 2 people expressed their desire to be part of it immediately.

In day 4, something happened which I have remembered today as Fabian Vidella talks in his book "Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success" towards the end of Chapter 3.

He says: "but I found them quite interesting and actually
learned some interesting stuff that would, later, make me
sound really smart in front of my classmates and made
more than one girl giggle with my new learned prose"

Well, other than how he described his 80's as a young schoolboy, there is a big lesson every leader with or without portfolio should learn which has now been re-opened for interested people.

Think about this for awhile. It is a comment and a reply to a viral video. I leave it at that for the public. Having said that, it's only fair to state here that there is another profession I talk about inside TPOOPA and why it matters.

How Worth?

Hi, few weeks ago, someone posted a video on Twitter.

Her simple message was this: “I’m worth it.”

It was short. About 5 minutes long. She was passionate about the statement.

This is the same message I want you to get today.
