A dog 🐕 was so loyal to a woman so much that he left his baby with him and went for a quick run. She always returns to find the boy soundly asleep with the dog. One day something tragic happened.
The woman, as usual, left the baby in the hands of this faithful dog and went shopping.

When he returned, he discovered a horrific scene, and there was total disaster. The baby wasn't in his crib, his diapers and his clothes were in pieces, with blood stains all over the bedroom. In shock, the frightened woman began looking for the baby. Suddenly he saw the faithful Dog emerge from under the bed, covered in blood everywhere licking his mouth as if he had just finished a delicious meal.

The woman was convinced the dog had eaten her baby. Without thinking much about it, she beat the dog to death with a wood. Then the investigation continued to at least find part of his son's body. Soon she leaves another scene. Behind the bed was the well-formed baby who was naked and had fun on the carpet. Under the bed the woman discovered the body of a snake that had been torn apart. It was a fierce battle between the snake and the dog. The dog fought to protect the baby from the ravenous snake. It was too late for her now to make peace because, in her impatience and anger, she had killed the faithful dog.

How often do we judge people with harsh words and spread lies about them before taking time to evaluate the situation?.

Two soldiers were very friendly, great friends. One evening one soldier comes back to the trench but finds that his friend has not returned. Many people have been killed on the front. He becomes afraid — is his friend killed?

He enquires, and then somebody says, ‘We are not certain that he is killed, but he was so terribly wounded that it was impossible for him to come to the trench. By now he must be dead.’

It is getting dark now and the enemy is still firing madly but the soldier wants to go and search for his friend.

The officer says, ‘No, this is foolish’, but he doesn’t listen to the officer — he goes.

It is very difficult in the dark and there are thousands of corpses all around.

He looks and looks and in the middle of the night he returns — dragging his friend’s dead body on his back. He himself is now terribly wounded, mortally wounded… he cannot survive.

The moment he reaches the trench he falls on the floor with the body of his dead friend.

The officer comes and he says, ‘I told you not to be foolish! It was not worth it. Now you know what you have done to yourself. The friend is dead and you are dying!’

The dying man opened his eyes and he said, ‘But it was worth it — because when I went there, he looked at me and he said, “Jim, I knew you would come.”‘

For love, life can be sacrificed — it is worth it.

But we have been taught just the contrary: sacrifice everything just to be alive; just to survive, sacrifice everything.

*I SHED TEARS*

Yesterday I visited a friend of mine, who is blind. And because it was night he did something that taught me a lesson.

Upon entering the house, he switched on the light.
And I asked him "why did you put on the light yet you can't see?"
He laughed for a long time, switched off the light and went to the kitchen.

After a short while he came with a pot of tea and eggs, placed them perfectly well on the table and switched on the light again.

What he said made me shed tears because he said to me, Mr.wicky, I did not put on the light for my own sake or because I needed it, I did it for you because you needed it since you are not blind like me".*

Then he asked me, Mr. Wicky,

How many times have you switched off the light for other people and denied them an opportunity to see light just because you yourself do not need it?"

I thought about that so deeply, and now I am asking you the same question today.

How many times have you put off your lights and denied others an opportunity to see the light while they are in darkness?

Why would you let your accounts grow to millions and even billions while your brother's child is going barefooted?

Why would you put clothes you don't wear in the bin while someone out there is almost going naked?

Why would food rot in your house while there is someone out there sleeping hungry?

Why will you see a business opportunity and hide it without sharing with your friends when you know you won’t use it?

Why will you be in a position to help someone get a promotion or a new job and you keep it because the person is not from your family, tribe or religion?

Why will you defame your brother or sister just because you don't want someone to help them?

Each of the questions above is equivalent to switching “Off The Light”

A Special Donkey

A man bought a donkey from a preacher. The preacher told the man, "this donkey has been trained in a very unique way. The only way to make the donkey go is to say Hallelujah, and the only way to make it stop is to say Amen."The man immediately got on the animal to try out the preacher's instructions. "Hallelujah!" He shouted. And immediately the donkey began to trot. "Amen!" He shouted again, and the donkey stopped immediately. "This is great," he said.With Hallelujah he rode off very proud of his purchase. The man traveled for a long time through some mountains. Soon he was heading towards a cliff. He could not remember the word to make the donkey stop. "STOP!" He blurted, "HALT!" He blurted again. The donkey just kept going, "Oh no, Bible! Church! Please stop!" Cried the man. He was getting closer and closer to the edge of the cliff. Finally in desperation, the man said aprayer, "Please, dear God, please make this donkey stop before i go off this mountain, inJesus name, AMEN!" The donkey came to an abrupt stop, just one step from the edge of the cliff. Immediately the donkey stopped, the man joyously said, "HALLELUJAH!"

DEAR MEN

Sometimes I wonder where you draw your strength From.you stay months without buying clothes for yourself all because you want to put food on the table.you stay hungry so that your family can eat and survive.🤷

Sometimes you leave home with no direction but still be able to come back home with money.you deprived yourself basic Education so that your kids can have it.your parents Look up to you for survival whether you have a job or not you just have to provide.🤷
You pay huge bride price to marry a woman you love and end up taking care of her family, her siblings including your very own.you have to fight tirelessly for your mother,wife and kids .💪💪

To Be a Man
Episode 2

Immediately I opened my door and entered my house, I saw my wife clutching my last born with both hands.
She was moving from one end of the room to the other.

When she saw me, she ran to me immediately.
“Honey, Junior is running temperature…I have done everything possible for it to subsidize but no way”

“I will be right back”, I replied.

I dashed outside and rushed to the nearest pharmacy to buy drugs for Junior.
I couldn’t let anything happen to my child.

The pharmacist gave me some drugs after I explained to him how Junior was feeling. The drug he gave me was worth L$1300.

I was hurriedly going home when I remembered that none of them had eaten since I left in the morning.

What would I buy with this remaining #700?

I rushed to the shop of the woman that sells food and bought food for them as I took it home.

As I brought out the food from the bag, my children pounced on the food as if their lives depended on the food.

It was then that I discovered that it was hunger that was dealing with Junior. He wasn’t feeling sick.

I sat with my wife as we watched them devour the food like hungry lions.
I watched helplessly as little drops of tears dropped from my eyes.

I quickly turned and faced the wall so my wife won’t notice that I was crying. I can’t give up now. I can’t show her that it was becoming too much for me.

I remembered how I opened a foodstuff shop for my wife but we crumbled the business.

We fed from her little shop. She made sure we didn’t go hungry.
After some time, there was nothing in her shop anymore because she took care of the family with all the foodstuff in her shop.

I looked at her as she was watching the children. I knew she was hungry too but she didn’t want to show it.

I gave her the remaining L$300 to go and get something to eat.
She collected the money from me and stepped outside to get something to eat.

I was surprised when she returned with Fried yam and Garri.
She made the Garri with the little sugar lef
