Good evening to the Epistle Media Family.

It is with great sadness and heaviness that we announce that our ministry leader, Edwin Kimani was called to be with the LORD who he loved so much and served so reverently on 31st of October 2024.

Edwin loved the Lord and loved people fully and wholeheartedly. This ministry was a way for him to share the messages that the LORD shared on his heart, and we are deeply saddened by his loss.

Brother to Humphrey Jimmy Kimani
Grandfather to Sarabi Lucille Champagne

The family will have meetings and prayers at All Saints Cathedral on Monday 4th November, Tuesday 5th November & Wednesday 6th November at 5 pm each day

The Burial is on 8th November 2025 at Uthiru Gakobu.

We will be sharing the group for funeral preparations for all those interested in following in the preparations for his final send off.

Lift up a Standard for the people.

(Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;)

The Body of Christ should start addressing itself to its failures and shortcomings instead of passing blame for the state of affairs in a nation. It is the foundations of the Church established by the word of God that are being shaken. It is the church which should be the subject of criticism, failure and wanting and not passing the buck. It is the Kingdom of God that is the disruptor and not a conformer of the status quo. (Rom_12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.)

It begs the question whether the Body of Christ has been well prepared to be the salt of the earth and not to conform to the standards of the world. The standard of God is righteousness. Is that being practiced without compromise? The spirit of God renews the mind and endows the Church with gifts which is a perfection to the standard of righteousness to be able confront the forces of evil, and to manage emerging and changing dynamics in the marketplace. (Eph_4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:)

Has the Church raised an army with giftings to counter the evil wiles of the devil? It is the body of Christ that stands at the gate and surround’s the promises by erecting a wall for protection. Inside the spiritual gate and walls is the secret place of the highest God (Psa 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Highest shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty)

The Church of Jesus Christ should not be caught unawares but be strategic and ready to cope with emerging social, political and economic issues because the Holy Spirit promised to show us things to come. To join the masses in lamentation is admission of defeat. The Church should be focused on building the body of Christ unto righteousness and perfecting the saints so that the gifts can manifest in dreams, visions and interpretation. (Eph_4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:)

The body of Christ cannot pretend there is no corruption, money changers and betrayers of the Church of Jesus Christ. The devil is on the prey looking at whom to defile and bring shame to the institution of the Church. A Spirit of God led Church of Jesus Christ should be releasing the perfect man of God who has been armed with gifts in the theatre of warfare. The gifts are backed with the power of high God to protect, preserve and advance the will of God in the world. Jer_51:12 Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.

Our warfare is not carnal but in prayer and fasting. That power is available for the perfected members of the body of Christ. And the prayers and fasting is a paradigm shift for an internal interrogation and a surgical exercise to uproot those who have defiled the Church of Jesus Christ by compromising the standard of righteousness. (2Co_10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)



Unless there is truth and openness to call out among us that are camouflaging as angels of light but are agents of the devil. The church of Jesus Christ has to restore righteousness, honor and fear of the Lord, only then will the Church be respected as an institution of high standards. A high standard is righteousness which exalts the nation. If the Church is righteous, then the goodness of God shall be in the land. (Psa_33:5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.)

In this season, there are lessons to be learned and actions to be taken whenever the forces of evil rear their heads to be exalted above the word of God. The contest is having been about power and exaltation which the devil fights for from the foundations of the world. But the church has the mandate and the power to reign in evil and chain it in hell for judgement. (2Co_10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ)

It is time to repair the spiritual breaches in our churches, repair the broken walls and take hold of the gate of the Church. That is setting a standard of righteousness. That calls for practical steps of confession, asking for forgiveness in prayer and fasting (Mat_17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.). Returning to God wholeheartedly is rendering our hearts and not in offering corruption. God is interested in the soul not to perish. (Psa_85:13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.)

The Promises of God of judgement (Psalm 72:2), peace and prosperity (Psalm 72:3), mercy and truth (Psalms 85:10/11) will be established in righteousness which is the standard of God. (2Co_7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.)

To the Body of Christ, this is a test of the maturity of the Church to own up, confess and repent and not pass the buck. Burying our heads in the sand like the proverbial Carmel is defeatist but we are called to take responsibility in prayer and fasting for righteousness. The Church of Jesus Christ holds the key of David to transform nations to enter into rest in righteousness.( Isa_22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.)

Launch yourself in the reality of faith

Heb 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].

The Sphere of faith in God is a reality to those who believe and submit to the truth that Jesus Christ died and on the third day he rose again and now lives forever. That is the rich realm where we harvest the promises of God which are the fruits of our faith in God.

Living and walking in that sphere of believing and trust in God is having faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. And that is what will lead us into a dispensation of fruitfulness where we profit by the word of faith. That pursuit of Christlike is not in vain as the habitation of God is rich in unlimited opportunities that fulfil the promises of God. During our walk of faith , God draws near to us and releases himself with all the possibilities in the heavenly places for our lively hope.

And the Spirit of God settles us in habitation inside the riches in glory in Jesus Christ where there is a release of the resurrected power of eternal life. Eternal life will create and regenerate your life and everything that you desire and do in the name of Jesus Christ. It is the will of the Father to give us all things through the eternal life of Jesus Christ. The Fathers good works are hidden in you with Christ to glorify the I AM on earth. And when we believe without doubting, the reality of faith in God becomes our eternal habitation and we shall manifest all things that are hid in Jesus Christ. (Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth.)

It is upon us to subdue faith in God and wrestle ourselves inside the habitation of Father and Lord Jesus Christ. In a world where drums of war are everywhere and declining economies, there is hope in the habitation of God. It is achieved by stretching and exercising our faith in God. If you are looking for a turnaround, it is time to dive deep in the realm of faith in God. Quitting is not the answer but to be convicted that faith in God , which is gift of God with the power of resurrection is able to do all things for us. Unbelief and little faith in God are the greatest enemies that cause stagnation, lackluster performance and failure in our life. It means we are not profiting to the maximum from the word of faith.

The disciples of Jesus Christ had been doing the same thing fishing in the shallow waters. and had suffered losses , wasted time and much effort and they had not caught anything. That is little faith until Jesus Christ appeared to focus them on a location with much abundance. That is in the deep. At the obedience of his word to launch in the deep, faith in God manifested with a huge catch that was hidden under the sea. That enlightened the understanding of the disciples in the power of the word of faith and changed their canal minds forever. By obeying the word of faith brought a huge profit and caused the life fishermen around them to profit. . That is how obedience to work on our faith will cause an increase in our lives, impact and influence others to seek God and profit communities and the nations. The abundance in the deep waters of the word of faith teaches us that the pursuit of deep faith in God is not in vain.

If you are stuck doing the same thing, you are fishing in the shallow waters of faith. You will be exhausted and tired and that hinders the manifestation of the riches in glory in Jesus Christ over your life.

You are a partaker of the covenant of God by faith in Jesus Christ. You faith in God is a gift that has been released to those who are called by the name of Jesus Christ. You have the gift and you are empowered by an assurance by the Spirit of God to stretch it to manifest. It is falling short of the expectations of our calling if the covenant promises of God are not being established in our lives as heirs of God and co-heirs of Jesus Christ. You have to desire more and pursue godliness by obeying , submitting and doing the works of faith which are the commandments of God

Be ye faithful as God is faithful. That is live by the faith in Jesus Christ. He had faith of resurrection from the dead. And so, it was and now Jesus Christ is alive forever. And by faith in God, you believe every word that has come from the mouth of the Lord, our God (Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach). .Desire to do exploits because the measure of faith in your life increases as you do acts of faith by launching into the deep.

Jesus Christ is calling us to dive into the depth of faith as there lies a huge opportunity enough for you , family, the poor and vulnerable and for nations . Salvation has leapfrogged to the depths of faith in God that will make all things possible. And to faith , diligence, perseverance love and hope and you shall live the reality of faith

You are that person who is hungry and thirsty to see , to touch and experience the works of faith in God , then dive deep in pursuing godliness with works of faith in the name of Jesus. He is the mediator between the word of God and your faith. And the promises of God will be fulfilled in your life in the Name of Jesus

Migrate to a New Season

Zec_4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts

Every new season is rich with past spiritual value and the new anointing for conquest. The latter rain is better than the former. The latter rain finds a well-nourished ground and the overflow is your double portion of anointing for the next season. You are the latter glorious church not built with hands of men but Jesus Christ. You are the cornerstone on which all things are held together.

If you are success oriented and battle hardened, you enter a new season by the power of the Spirit of God. Not by our own understanding. Not by our might but by the Spirit of God. It was only when Jesus Christ was full in the power of the Spirit of God that he was led in the wilderness for conquest. ( Luk 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,) In our new season the wilderness is a place of all the possibilities of the promises of God. It is a place for the manifestation of our faith in God and the manifestation of the divine power of God over every opposition. The wilderness is the best setting for testing our maturity , strength and closer relationship of the father and the sons of God

And you are well armed with the sword of the spirit which is the word of God to exercise power and authority. And when we invite Jesus Christ in our life as Lord and savior, we have called the Captain of the Lords host to action. Joshua would not have succeeded when he led the children of Israel in battle to take over their inheritance . And until all the land had been taken , he settled he rested (Jos 5:14 And he said, Nay; but [as] captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?). Jesus Christ is our Captain to lead us into the new dispensation even during times of uncertainty. It is the promise of the father and it has to be fulfilled in every generation and passed on. The word has declared and decreed that every knee shall bow and the tongue confess the lord Jesus Christ. That is the occupier of the promises of sons of God will release the opportunity to the sons of God. . Because you already have overcome by the blood of Jesus Christ, our hope of glory.

By the Spirit of God , Jesus Christ stretches the unseen hand of eternal salvation, deliverance and watches over the fulfilment of all the promises of God. You have been called at such a time to occupy and never to cede territory to the forces of antichrist. .( Luk_19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.)

The Spirit of God is our reservoir and well of life to draw creativity, innovation and knowledge of God. That is our weapon of battle. Because every territory is a theater of war between the sons of God and the spirit of opposition of the philistines, Amalek’s, Amorites , Canaanites , Jebusites and other spirits. But by lifting the name of Jesus Christ, the Captain of the Lords Host , you shall prevail and occupy. ( Exo_17:11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.)

You have been called by the father to follow Jesus Christ. And that is being led by the Spirit of God who teaches us the everlasting ways of God , renews our understanding with the abundance of his knowledge and strengthens us in battle. Our lives should forever be yearning to conquer new territory by the knowledge of God through profiting our minds souls. And the riches in glory and on earth will bow to you as a son of God. (Job_36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.)

Jesus Christ prevailed against the forces of hell with his blood and testimony of the power of resurrection. That was for our sakes so that we can enter into the promises of the Father. And that power in Jesus Christ is available by his indwelling in our lives. By accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that is the eternal strategy that when we call unto him, he answers and victory will be on your side. ( Jer_33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.)

I want to encourage you to fight the good fight of faith in God . It does not matter whether you are in the wilderness which is the believers land of opportunities, in sickness and disease, you are healed, in warfare facing satanic forces that hinder us from entering your new season, you are a conqueror. You have overcome because the one inside you is greater than the one who is in the world. ( Joh_16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.)

My Testimony is Alive in Christ

(Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.)

Your testimony that you are alive in Christ is the most potent weapon against the powers of darkness. By your testimony, you affirm your identity that swallows that which is not in Christ and against the body of Christ. Your testimony that you are alive in Christ is the power that overcomes the wiles of the devil and announces victory.( Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.)

If you believe you have passed from death to life. Then whatever you do must have the life of the everlasting God in Jesus Christ. The life of Jesus Christ in your surety for the promises of good and abundant life good health , prosperity and eternal life. By your testimony, believing in Jesus Christ you are turning your life in the dimension of Jesus Christ .( Phi 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.)

By my testimony I have overcome the powers of darkness by the divine power in Jesus Christ which is made available by my faith in God. (Isa_45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.) I have ceased being a sinner and the lust of the flesh has been conquered by the death and resurrection of Jesus .You now live by the power of the word of God. (1Pe_1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.)

I have been accepted as a son of God. Jesus Christ has taken over and occupied and your expectation is in Christ to understand and grow from his inheritance as Heir of God and joint heir with Jesus Christ. That is both spiritual blessings that overcome and conquer the wiles of the devil (Eph_1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:) . And as you grow and understand your identity in Jesus Christ, the new man is being formed by the word of God. And by the grace of God and the renewing power of the spirit of God you are been renewed as a god. Jesus Christ is reminding us of our identity (Joh 10:34 Jesus answered them, is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?)

You have to transition from the old man in the way we perceive God, in our deeds and thoughts towards the new man. The new man is Jesus Christ the deliverer from the captivity of the old man who was alienated with the Father.( Col_1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:) You are now a son of God and your testimony is the abundance of grace to do exploits, to overcome and conquer adversities. That is what sons of God do in this world. You must therefore have a Spirit led attitude and expectation of the word of God. That is focusing on the promises of God.

It does not matter how the world sees and perceives my life because I have a greater testimony of life in Jesus Christ. I will stand on the altar of salvation and the devil will not intimidate me for accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I am a son of God and a beneficiary of the promises of God. The word that was made flesh and indwells me . ( Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.). So, I live the life of Jesus Christ to serve my father in heaven.

I have been repurposed as a god to serve the living God and be glorified on earth by the promises of God in Jesus Christ. That is my only purpose on this earth to glorify God on earth. By my words, deeds and service, I serve the Kingdom of God on earth. So, whatever I do it is for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And as Jesus Christ was glorified by the father on earth and in heaven, I will be glorified on earth by overcoming all adversities. I will also be glorified in heaven because I am part of the life of Jesus Christ who sits on the right-hand side of my father. My confidence is because the life I live on this earth is the life of Jesus Christ inside me. I am one with Jesus Christ and the father , my Lord and God. That is why I am alive in Christ. ( Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,( Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.)

I am sealed with the Spirit of promise. I have been changed in the image of God. My Father sees the righteousness of a son. So, you approach this life on earth is as a son of God to fulfill the will of my father in heaven. I have been sanctified to do the will of the father, to be an heir of the promises in Jesus Christ by the offering on the cross. ( Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.) .

So, my testimony is simple, that I am a son of God, the only begotten son of God. Why because I am are a portion of Jesus Christ, I am heir of my father , and God . I have been grafted back by the blood of Jesus. I live as Jesus Christ lives because we are one with him and the father in heaven. Because of the blood of Jesus, we are inseparable. (Joh 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eats of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.)

So healing , long life, prosperity and eternal life which is in Jesus Christ who indwells in our life is our portion of inheritance. Receive the inheritance of God in faith without doubting and wavering.( Joh_1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name)

Listening to the Inner man

(Joh 13:21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me).

Since we have been born again by the spirit, then we should live and walk in the spirit.( Gal_5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.). That is spiritual rule since we are one with Jesus Christ. Then we must train ourselves how to listen to the voice of God. That is done in quiet with a true desire in studying and in meditating on the word of truth which is the word of God which is alive and abides forever. (1Ti_4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.)

Most often, we fall into emotional traps, wrong business relationships, toxic friends because we are ignorant of the groanings and intercession from the inner man. The spirit of God in us will always send messages of truth to warn us but also direct and guide us towards the will of God in every step. Satan also has a parallel channel that entices us towards sin. ( Pro_1:10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.)

The Spirit of Truth is the indwelling of Jesus Christ who is the fullness of God and the complete image of the Father. But if we are ignorant of the groaning, intercession , the unsettling and warnings, we make the wrong decisions that interferes and delays the fulfilment of the will of God in our lives.

The allure of the world drives our ambition to success, ignites our greed, believes in self and takes control of our thought process that leads to actions that are not necessarily the truth. The schemes of the devil are subtle to interferes with the will of God for your life , steals the gifts and callings and leads you to destruction and death. (Joh_10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly) .

In challenging times, driving our ambition, fulfilling our lusts and emotional needs, we get ourselves yoked with antichrist spirit that betrays the will of God for your life. The evil spirit is a conniving and controlling spirit that steal and destroy the will of God in our life (2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?2Co 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?) If you allow the parallel channel of greed, corruption, betrayal to capture , minister and direct you , your source of power and authority becomes ineffective ( 2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.)

The body of Christ is the thoroughbred of God. It is a temple of God that has been endowed with gifts and callings that should never be defiled with idols. Jesus Christ has called us to follow him to make us fishers of men. That means to harvest the souls of men and disciple them back in the Kingdom of God. Then the abundance of the earth will be added unto you. All the abundance of heaven and earth belongs you as God has promised to give us all things. And the Spirit of truth will guide us to profit when we are on the side of God ( 2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty )

Today, our prayer is that if you have been caught up in compromising situations that war against the will of God for your life, the Spirit of Truth will reveal the circumstances that you have been yoked with the devil and pluck you out. The Spirit of truth will guide and direct you towards the ways of God that will profit your life. (Joh_16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.)

Because you have been born again by the Spirit of God , the warning is that you come out and separate yourself and father will receive you. (2Co_6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,) And blessings of our father and God shall follow you all the days of your life.

And Jesus Christ who began a good work in you will accomplish it until the end of days!

Pay Your Vows

(Jon 2:10 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay [that] that I have vowed. Salvation [is] of the LORD.)

A vow on the altar of God binds a relationship and attracts the grace of God. It is the unseen hand of God for fulfilment. And that is the good news that Jesus Christ brings in the new covenant that we can extends our vows with God and with each other to draw the grace of God. And when vows are entered into in honesty , truth and for the good, the grace of God accelerates the fulfilment of the promises of God in your life. The vows join together the gifts of God for a double anointing that increases individual capacity to achieve goals quickly and for maximum outcomes.

In times of when our plans go south, much affliction, we pray and make vows to God. And God accepts the vow and sets you free. It becomes a covenant because of the blood of Jesus that will speak on the vow until it is fulfilled on both sides. Jesus Christ becomes the surety and mediator and intercedes for fulfilment of the vow. (Heb_12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.)

There are consequences when you renege and fail to keep the vow. That is betrayal of faith in God as he answers even before we see the manifestation. God is not a liar and is not to be mocked. The vow by the word of mouth invoking the name of Jesus is so powerful and when you satisfy your part, God performs his part. (Isa_44:26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:)

Jacob when he was in the wilderness vowed a vow to God by the word of his mouth with God. Gen 28:20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put. ( Gen 28:21 So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:)

And when Jacob stayed in the house of Laban, the uncle, he made him rich. But Laban deceived him and changed his wages ten times. (Gen 31:7 And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me.). And God remembered Jacob and his vow. God honored his part of the vow and fulfilled it, Jacob left Laban's house and that was the end of Laban's mention in the genealogy of God. Jacob returned to his father’s house which is the house of the promises of God. He prospered as God was watching over him honoring the vow for generations. (Psa 61:5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given [me] the heritage of those that fear thy name.)

Laban thought he was a cunning fox could break away from the vow and shortchange the man that God had purposed to make him rich and wealthy. Above all Jacob was leading Laban in the genealogy of the promises of God. The grace of God of prosperity was upon Jacob. Laban reaped the benefits of the generational promises of God to Abraham. Laban was blessed by the work of the hands of Jacob. He experienced breakthroughs and increased in wealth and riches beyond human capabilities. But when he betrayed the vow of being married into the promises of God, Jacob departed when he left in pain and with him the grace of God .( Job_5:13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong).

Is that the story of many betrayals in families , in friends, in business relationships , in the Ministry of Jesus Christ?

Because a vow is a covenant because it is done in the name of God, Jesus Christ becomes the author and finisher of the good news of the father. And Jesus Christ watches over the vow to fulfil it .( Nah 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.) And for those who fail to keep the vows of salvation made on the altar of Jesus Christ, they shall be cut off.

Jonah had a vow with God and he tried to ran away but the consequences were dire. He caused losses to innocent travelers and traders. He thought he was comfortable hiding in the lower parts of the ship. He was fleeing from the vow. (Jon 1:10 Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. )He ended up in the womb of the fish. He cried in the womb and only after he pleaded with God and agreed to perform the vow was, he delivered from darkness into the assignment. (Psa 116:14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.). He performed his part and God had compassion with Nineveh. )

You are in that position today, you have made vows unto God when you accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you have made vows with business colleagues, you have made vows within your family but you have turned against the vows. You are deceiver, untrustworthy and a vow breaker. The Spirit of God enforces vows because it was done on the better covenant.( Heb_8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.)

The vows you enter are binding and an invitation of the grace of God with Jesus Christ as the mediator and intercessor. And the expectations shall not be cut off if you perform your vow. The spirit of God is explicit, perform your vow because God is not mocked. (Gal_6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.) Otherwise, you shall be cut off from the promises of God.

The Prophetic Voice of the Son is the Voice of the father
