Prove your faith in God

(Mat 14:28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. Mat 14:29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

How often do we look down on yourself belittling the gifts and calling bestowed on us by the sovereign God , the creator of heaven and earth. . Is that the reason why we do not do exploits? Have we become crying babies looking for sympathy? Have we lost our identity and the giftings after Jesus Christ led captivity captive.? The father in heaven is ministering again and again your first-born rights, privileges, gifts and callings . (Jer 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. ). And this is not coming from your local a Proped, the village elders and men ordained Ministers by other men of the Gospel. But from the creator and author of life, the everlasting God.

A grown-up child is a seasoned Christian who has refused to leave the mothers house to mature and be independent to pursue the promises with faith in God. (Luk 9:41 And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring thy son hither.). They fail to make that decision and hides in the safety of a master for years. He or She is Spiritual dwarfs preferring to drink milk and not hard meat. They are fearful, seeking sympathy , lazy and tiring to engage. The faithless Christian engages in empty quotes of the bible that have no works of faith. And they are risk averse with little faith. (Mat 8:26 And he saith unto them, why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.). They are not lepers but busybodies on other people’s affairs. That is the most retrogressive group you should never allow in your circle.

These are not lepers but grown-up children. The lepers at the gates of Samaria made a decision to enter the camp of the Syrians, and they became saviors of the King and a kingdom of cowards hiding around a wall of fear. Because the lepers did exploits. (2Ki_7:8 And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.)

Peter walked on water. He challenged his faith and asked the Lord Jesus Christ to beckon him to do the miraculous. He was courageous and trusted Jesus Christ; He was convicted he could do it as Jesus Christ was in the presence. He did it. He walked on water ! Though on the way he developed cold feet. He did and at the tail end, he was assisted by Jesus Christ to finish the journey of faith. ( Mat 14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. Mat 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?) He is the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus is repeating the same message to his disciples, to grow up

But you are still sitting as a child waiting for the miraculous to happen! How long will the gifts of power, authority, creativity and innovation that reside in you remain inactive? You were empowered before the foundation of the world. But you are still a child or is it a grown-up child? (Jer 1:6 Then said I, ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I [am] a child.). Because without faith, you are a grown-up child. You cannot please God.

Instead of whining and complaining , it is time to grow up. That is to push your faith to see what is expected of you . You have been sitting under mentorship by ministers, of God hearing great messages ,prophetic words that unlock the value in your , attending conferences and Sunday services with zeal , social platforms and street preaching. Has this become a familiar spirit with no works of faith?

Out there in the market place are wolves but there is a harvest for you. In whatever calling you are gifted, there is something great for you that will glorify God. (Luk 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest.)

Is it not time that we arise as the spirit of God in Jesus Christ has gone before us to make the crooked paths straight? (Luk 10:3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. ). Today , challenge the faith of God in you as the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ is waiting for you to release divine power for greater works and exploits.

Staying on the path of obedience

(Exo 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I [am] the LORD that healeth thee.)

To hearken diligently is to listen with the intent to obey. It is deliberate and done on purpose. To obey to live in accordance with the will of God is a deliberate and purpose . It is a step of drawing near to God. And the grace and love of God is spread out for you to live a sacrificial life.( Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.)

Obedience is a path towards fulfilment of the promises of God. It attracts the presence of God for you to grow and glow in the glory of God.

In obedience there is the illumination of the glory of God in our life. That is the environment of righteousness that produces the abundance of God. (2Ch 5:14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.)

Obedience is our strength that wrestles the wiles of the devil. When immersed in obedience, the gates of wickedness are closed. ( Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

Obedience is our directional compass that will co-locate our minds to the territory of possibilities. You are loosed from captivity from forces of evil. ( Eph 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.) As you obey you are agreeing with Jesus Christ and leading captivity captive. In return you receive gifts of ministry

Obedience to physical uprooting from an occult habitation to be planted into the goodness of God has eternal rewards. That leads to the manifestation of the promises of God. (Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.). Often times you have to leave your kindred to receive the promise.

Obedience is our pillar of life that keeps the the windows of heaven open for your abundant supply from the Spirit of life. That includes good health, renewal of the mind , transformation to godliness that births creativity and innovation, prosperity and long life.( Phi 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.).

In obedience the word of God will piece through and pe*****te every negative situation that exalts itself against the will of God.(Heb 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.)

Obedience is our environment of righteousness. It is dwelling in the presence of God.( Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.)

Jesus Christ was obedient to the end. He endured and released the grace to help us in times of challenges that war against obefience. (Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;). He overcame the temptation and remained focused in the power of the word.

The anointing for exploits and great things flows from the word of God once we obey. It is not when we demand it with menaces and threats to armtwist the love of God.

In obedience, the love of God has been spread abroad with sufficient grace to help and sustain our gifts and callings. (Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God [are] without repentance.)

Incline your ear to instructions and obey so that we can live. Because obedience to the word of God is life and eternal life

And for those who have despised and low esteemed the commandments of God, that is disobedience and betrayal of Jesus Christ. That leads to desolation and unfulfilled promises. ( 1Sa 12:15 But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as [it was] against your fathers.)

The Spirit of God will respond to obedience and supply all our needs that pertains to life and godliness in the name of Jesus. ( 2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:)

Our advocate , Our victory

Isa 51:22 Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God [that] pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, [even] the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: Isa 51:23 But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.

He entered the holy of hollies once and for all. He led captivity captive. He redeemed us. He paid the ransom . He forgave our sins. He took away our iniquities. He was made poor so that we can be rich. He healed us from all sicknesses and diseases. He turned water to wine. He is forever on the right hand of the father interceding for us. He is the prince of Peace. He lives forever so that we can have eternal life. He is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. He is the testimony of the father that we have overcome the world. He is our righteousness in the presence of the father. He is our eternal advocate against accusations from Satan.

What is this matter that Jesus Christ cannot plead for us in the courts of heaven. Is there any thing too hard for God? If the blind can see, the deaf hear , the lepers walk, the demons are cast out, the rivers are filled with fish, the redeemed walk on water, the donkey speaks, the unfruitful fig tree is dried up, the barren have children at an old age, the dead are brought back to life, the earth trembles at his presence , and the wisdom of man is made mad. What is this that is impossible in your life that the living God cannot overturn?

You cannot live in self -inflicted struggles, imaginary challenges , perceived battles from attacks from powers and rulers of darkness of this world, feigning sicknesses and diseases , accepting spiritual wickedness in high places to rule over your life. That is a defeatist attitude and not a life of an overcomer. Everything that afflict you and me has been overcome by Jesus Christ. Then why should refuse to be desperate, to be in depression, to fear and give in to the powers of darkness of this world. Even if we are killed daily which means we are tempted and face challenges, Jesus Christ stands at the holy of hollies interceding for us. He already has conquered the world for us. And because God loves us so much, he will never allow the redeemed of the Lord to suffer shame .(Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Rom 8:36 As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Jesus Christ is forever pleading our cause because we are the righteousness of God, the apple of his eye, the beloved of God and sons of the highest God. Nothing will separate us from our rightful position of overcomers. Face life with confidence because there is a promise of completion. (Php_1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:)

Be persuaded today, that Jesus Christ is interceding for you and me at the throne of mercy. He never fails as he overcame the world for us. Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord)

Arise with the joy of the lord for you have been established in righteousness. The light of heaven is shining in that that area that seems to have been overcome by darkness (Joh_12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.). Celebrate the victory of Jesus Christ for you have overcome!

Building a solid foundation for your life

Pro_13:22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

Inheritance is the core of Gods good thoughts and plans. Because the words of God have to be fulfilled. He is not a man that should lie. And he follows the words to accomplish the purpose intended. ( Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. )

Our role as fathers , parents, business people ( gifts of God) is to protect, preserve and multiply the blessings of the father over our children's children, family , business colleagues that God has joined us together. That is by commanding the promises of fruitfulness, and multiplication , and replenishment to each category you engage with in life. That is what a good man does as you are already blessed on a foundation of righteousness. You have the life and spirit of God to reverse every negative situation to a blessing within you family, business colleagues, friends and the nation . (Joh_6:63 It is the spirit that quickened; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.).

A good man does not add fire to the acceleration to failure , destruction and desolation of family and friends by joining the forces of evil in cursing as useless, low achievers, and good for nothing. That is an affront on Gods word and destroying the foundation of blessings in Gen 1:27-29. That is being a witch ( Exo_22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.)

A good man who speaks and declares the promises of God over his children and children’s children, the family and to the world. That is the essence of good news. A good man is not a destroyer of the foundation of the blessings of God but works through the challenges of life by engaging with the word of promise with to rebuild the broken foundations by encouraging, lifting , offering opportunities and declaring the words of promise. That is adding life to the voice of God (Heb_1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:) And that is by prayer , decree and declaring the will of God to be done on earth as it is done in heaven

There are times when the word of God will test your faith in God. And that test is whether you are a good man. For much is given to a good man to bless, repair and build lives. Just like Joseph was tested by the word, even in times of adversity, trials and temptations, isolation and captivity, Joseph remained a good man in prison and blessed. Learn to forgive even your accusers , betrayers as that is what a good man does.( Luk_23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.)

Avoid the sins of the heart of condemnation , treachery, cunning and taking advantage against family , friends, business colleagues in times of trials and testing , weak, lack and incapability as that is wickedness. Even in that state , God has good thoughts and plans for the captives. (Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end). God will never vacate his word because of temporary unfavorable conditions because it is just a season that we all go through in this life.

The wickedness of one man, Pharaoh caused the destruction of the land with , famines, plagues and death of the first born. If you do not heed the word of God to depart from wickedness the word of God will be fulfilled in your life just like Pharaohs and the Egyptians.( Exo_14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.). Because wickedness has its day of judgement

The words that we speak and actions will either fill the void in the life of our children , family and colleagues or destroy lives and destinies. ( Mat_12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.)You don’t want to be branded a killer and betrayer of Jesus Christ by working contrary to the word of life. Because you shall be destroyed with your children’s children.

Build a solid foundation for your family , colleagues and generations by being a good man and not a schemer, truce breaker, not a keeper of vows, a hater, evil planner in the heart and full of wickedness to cut short the destinies of children, family members, and colleagues. (1Jn_3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.)

Accepting the Promise

Gen_2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

God, our father himself by the son Jesus Christ indwells inside us. Then why is it so hard to make a decision to follow the voice of the breath of life.? The word of life or the gospel of Jesus Christ has been preached in your hearts by the breath of life. The spirit of God in us groans , intercedes and convicts our hearts from the depths of the life of Jesus Christ to accept the promise of God.

But there is resistance to the truth and yet we hear, see and handle the promise in our daily lives. It means we live by the promise. (1Jn_1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;). And yet that promise who is Jesus Christ is the one who enables us to celebrate the gift of the father in season and out of season. Is that a mystery? Is that not the truth that is simple to understand?

Is that not hypocrisy in man. And yet the whole creation is rushing to celebrate the promise. You spend large amounts of resources to be accepted in the world to celebrate the season of the promise but accepting the promise becomes a byword? Are you the seed of the foolish Galatians or the seed Abraham, the father of faith? (Gal_3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?)

Since you believe and celebrate the season of the Promise with the full assurance of the breath of life which has guaranteed you are alive today and will live another day, you are alive by the faith in God. That is the measure of faith given to every living soul by the breath of life of God. And the faith in the breath of life will lead us to seek and accept the promise that takes us through life on earth and is the surety for our eternal life. The Promise is Jesus Christ. That is seeking the Kingdom of God first and then other things will be added to you. (Mat_6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.). You cannot be celebrating the fulfilment of a promise that which you are not part of. It is foolishness! Stop lying to yourself that you are celebrating the fulfilment of the promise in your life. Unless you have accepted Jesus Christ, the promise of the father as your Lord and savior, you are celebrating nothing. (Joh_1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:). The celebrations during this season are for the sons of God who worship God in truth and in the spirit. They have received the Promise and celebrate the fulfilment of the Father.

But the mockers will always be with us in the last days (( Jud_1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.). But they are not part of the Promises of God until there is a step towards confessing our sins and asking God for forgiveness. (Mat_10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.) Then you can celebrate together in the spirit and be filled with the joy of the lord. That is the purpose when we celebrate the life of the Promise Keeper, Jesus Christ in our lives. It is confessing to the world that we are truly sons of God.

So let us understand the distinction . Because occasions and celebrations have a meaning , both in the flesh ( earthly) and in matters of the Kingdom of God.

To the mockers who have low esteemed and rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ they will also eat and drink from the lusts but will not be fulfilled with the package of the promise of salvation.( Rev_20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.)

To those who have accepted the promise, celebrate your confession as a son of God as your name has been written in the book of Life. (Joh_1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:).

Release the greatness in you.

Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Luk 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Jesus Christ was not a capitalist. He never held back what he had for mankind. He offered all that he was and even transferred the riches and wealth of the Kingdom of Heaven to the earth. So, a church modeled on capitalism is the greatest threat to the body of Christ. Todays, capitalistic church is all about physical projects, it is mechanical focusing on worldly material needs but does not attend to the hurting and pain that we often go through. There is too little attention to detail in addressing the real needs of the inner person by teaching, mentoring and impacting by the spirit of God

By the indwelling of Jesus Christ in us, we have the same anointing to come out of captivity, recover our blindness and to set others free. But unless we mine the hidden value of salvation inside us in Jesus Christ, we wander like the blind and that greatness remains untapped. The Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ and the anointing is resting inside us ready to be released for nourishing a hurting people.

Our families, friends and the body of Christ is hurting, held captive in circumstances that can be resolved by the anointing inside you. Unless you release the oil of compassion, of love and giving real hope, you will be like the parable of the rich man in Luke 12: 16-21. Be rich in God and offer what God has invested in you. (Luk 12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.)

Jesus Christ was compassion and displayed his love and attention to the poor, the broken hearted and those who had been held captive by the devil. The source of a dysfunctional life is lack of spiritual guidance. Leanness in the spirit is the cause of a wandering people and the nation. The devil is blind and cannot lead (Luk_6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?)

The one inside us is greater than the one in the world. And you will never exhaust that which has been deposited in you. By salvation, you have been found and accepted by the grace of God to be a good ground for the seed of eternal life. That is Jesus Christ indwelling. You are greater and have the anointing to turn around every situation into greatness. Multiply the seed in you by offering spiritual blessings, alms and riches that God has bestowed on you as a wise servant.

Be a doer of the word and make practical steps of walking, mentoring and offering sacrifice to turn around the dejected, the desperate, the poor from an unproductive life. (Jas_1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.) Heal the broken hearted from sicknesses and diseases, broken marriages, loss of loved ones, barrenness, premature birth of visions, reversing business failures, transforming losses to profits, recovering wayward children, overcoming struggles of life, providing direction to greatness and healing of the soul.

You are the church of Jesus Christ in you. Today, embrace that neighbor who is desperately looking for spiritual intervention and attend to the need offering hope in God. That that is how you can offer spiritual surgery by the power in the word of God. Speak healing in faith, give a word of hope, comfort those who are bereaved, visit that poor person and share your gifts of love and substance. Uplift someone’s business venture with an idea just like Jesus Christ (Luk_5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.)

That is how the one inside you will manifest his greatness in your life. Jesus Christ stretched out his hand to pick the weak, he comforted the bereaved, he shared himself with heavenly gifts, he offered his own gifts, he fed the hungry, he attended to the needs of the hungry, he transformed economies of the disciples and increased their catch. He even paid tax.

Jesus Christ released the greatness in him that was freely given by the father in Heaven. He was not selfish, cunning, greedy and treacherous and never used his power to impoverish, to con, to manipulate and take advantage of the weak. He took over our poverty so that we can be rich. He was not evil but released his anointing so that we can breakthrough from all forms of captivity. (Eph_1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:)

That is the model of increase and multiplication and watch how God will increase your spiritual blessings that pertains to life and godliness. (2Pe_1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:)

When you release the greatness in you, the knowledge, the alms, the riches, the helping hand, the words of life-giving hope to the wounded, you are tapping into the everlasting treasure of the riches in glory in Jesus Christ. You will not only receive healing in your life, family and fulfilment of all the promises of God but you will be healing others to manifest their gifts (. Gal_6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.)
