Something I have been thinking about a lot is the experiences we get to have in this life.

Sometimes we miss out on experiences because of money or time. Experiences and the memories we make last our whole lives, money comes and goes.

When I got home I wanted to spend as much time as possible with my family and friends, because I felt like I missed out on those while I was living in Texas away from all of them.

I told myself you can make the money back, go enjoy the experiences and it got me thinking about how so many of us miss out on those once in a lifetime experiences because we don't want to spend the money.

It's time to start living life with no regrets. Life is short. No one is promised tomorrow. Take the risk. Say what's on your mind. And live for the experiences.

I just recently spent some time away from home to take a job opportunity. While this job was absolutely incredible and I learned so much, I found myself longing for all the things I left behind. The funny thing is before I left I was so eager to get away from all of those things.

The job I was working before I left was at a feedlot. I absolutely loved the friends that I got to work with, but I was so eager to get away I didn't enjoy the time there like I should have.

Even though I had many plans for when I returned back home and I am still working on those plans, I called my old boss and asked if they would have me back a few days a week. Of course they said they would be glad to have me back, and I fell right back into the groove of things.

I was so busy trying to get onto the next big thing that I didn't realize how great everything in front of me was. There's a quote that I remind myself of often, "be grateful for what you have while you are working for what you want".

We should all strive for better every day, but don't overlook the things you have that are important to you.

What does your ideal day look like? This is something we should think about when it comes to creating the life we want? Be specific.

When I was given this exercise to think about for the first time it was fairly simple for me. I wanted most of my day to be taken up with my horses. I wanted to be able to spend a few hours on my computer a day and be making enough income to support my lifestyle.

I spent so much time looking for the answer to how I could make this possible. Luckily I found it and I would love to introduce you to this opportunity as well.

Now I get to spend a few hours a day inspiring others to go after their bold goals all while doing the things I love to do. I get to spend that extra time with my horses. I get to put in the extra practice time because I don't have to sacrifice that time for a 9-5 to be able to support myself.

Are you living life with an open mind?

The past few weeks this question has come up a lot for me. I started this new business and have been working to get ahead of the game.

Now I live in a small town, which I absolutely love, but sometimes the small minded people can make those of us with an open mind feel like we may be a little crazy.

If you are one of those open minded people, don't let anyone keep you from accomplishing those huge goals you have! It doesn't matter how if you can figure out how to make it happen, make it happen!

There is so much of this beautiful world to see. Unfortunately most of us don't have the time or money to travel to see it.

I always knew I wanted to travel, although it went hand in hand with my other goals I was so unsure of how to make that happen.

I have a lot of things that are extremely important to me but the one at the top of the list is my friends and family. I have always prioritized spending time with them, but sometimes work or other things can get in the way.

It wasn't until I was away on an internship that I realized, they were becoming less and less of a priority due to work. This combined with so many other reasons is why I said yes to this business.

I wanted that time with my friends and family that was being taken away by my 9-5 job. I wanted to be able to go make memories and have experiences with them that no amount of money could ever compare to.

What is your why? What is your reason to make a change in your life?

I have talked a lot about my goals and dreams so I want to give a little insight to those.

My whole life I wanted to rodeo professionally. To this day that is still the career I want to have, along with a successful performance horse breeding program and an equine rehab facility.

Although my parents always believed in me and supported me this was not something that they could make happen. They simply were never in the financial postion.

So I have had to work hard to figure out how I can make this happen, because one thing rodeo is, is not cheap. The horses, the rigs, the fuel, and all the other expenses that come with that.

I quickly realized that working a 9-5 was not something that was going to make this goal achievable. Not only was I giving up all of my practice time to make money, the money was just simply not enough.

I knew my best bet would be to work online, that way I could work a few hours a day from anywhere and that I needed to be making large commissions.

Luckily I found the Rural Freedom Movement, and not only found people with the same goals but also found a way to make my biggest goal achievable.

I have always tried to pursue what has made me happiest in life. I've always had large goals and I have always worked extremely hard to achieve them. I could be very comfortable sitting back and living the life I am living now and not pursue those. Because if there is one thing I absolutely love it's the life I have.

But I realized I can have both. I can do the things that are going to help me achieve my goals all while still doing the day to day things I love.

Don't listen to people who say you can't have it all because you absolutely can. Take that leap of faith. Do the scary thing and go live the life you imagine for yourself.

Let's talk confidence...

I feel like so many of us say oh well I just need some more confidence before I do this or that.

Instead of using confidence as an excuse let's start making confidence a habit!

Take the 20 seconds of courage and do the thing! if you continue to show up for yourself and be confident in your decisions you will start to feel more confident in your everyday life!

Use confidence to your advantage instead of using it as an excuse!

Reflection...

Have you sat down and reflected on your life lately? Are there things you want to do but you are feeling held back? Whether that is by money, time or maybe even fear?

2023 is over in 4 months. Are there still goals you haven't accomplished yet? Are you taking actions to achieve those or do you let the time pass by?

We are all guilty of letting our goals get away from us in one aspect or another. Its time to take action. Stop letting fear hold you back! Get committed to living the life you want and take action!

Use the last 4 months of 2023 to your advantage and set yourself up for the best year yet in 2024!
