🕷️your friendly neighborhood Samson got a big boy bed over the weekend. Although I have bedding that matches the color and theme of his walls and rug, he loves his “Spidey” so much!

At 19 months, he’s outgrown the crib. He was too big, always rolling around hitting into the sides or scrunched up in a ball. Now he can spread out and have room to sleep wild 🤣🤣🤣

He went from a giant in the crib, to a little nugget in this twin size, making my baby look like a baby again.

Thank Yahweh that my time as his mom isn’t flying by! I I’m enjoying every moment with my little guy.

✨thirty two || it’s been an incredible few days. Focusing this year on being more intentional, consistent and adding value.

Had to overcome taking photos (in front of the camera), all the weird stares, and even a few mean mugs to get these shots. It was worth it! All I wanted was cute birthday photos.

I had to ✁ chop off my hair!!
6 inches of type 4 hair in its natural state…gone! Why??? Post c o v i d syndrome!

Since contracting it this past January, I haven’t been the same. My hair has been falling out and thinning. My body hasn’t been 100% since. I’ve been dealing with:

Difficulty focusing
Dizziness when standing
Really bad joint and muscle pain
Hair loss and breakage

It’s been a weird year! From thinking I had arthritis and severe postpartum shedding, to realizing I have long terms affects. I’ll update y’all after my doctors appointment this month.

But can we have a moment of silence for my beautiful hair 😞 this month makes 10 years I’ve been natural and I FINALLY reached my hair goals before my hair started breaking.

It was more than 5 inches past my shoulders, finally! I didn’t look like I had short hair. Now I’m back to square one. My hair doesn’t grow fast, so for me, it’s not JUST HAIR. On top of that, more than 50% of the volume of hair is gone. I had THICK hair. Now, there’s barely any, I have to pick it when I never had to.

Praying for complete healing from the crown of my head, to the soles of my feet, in Jesus’ name!

somebody’s fine m***a ✨swipe to see that somebody.

I wish I could say I disappeared and popped up fit. Instead, I’ve learned self care. Got a new skin care, toe + foot care, and body care routine. Fading acne scars and hydrating my skin like never before. I no longer put the ash in Ashlyn!

Taking care of myself means, I can better take care of my kids and love my husband better. Feeling confident in who I am as a woman, while realizing where I want to go.

From the moment your gaze meets mine, the joy on your face lights up the whole room. Tenderly holding me as you snuggle your head in my neck to hug me. The abundant wet kisses, the excited squeals, looking directly in my eyes as yours twinkle, you are my universe.

You’ve mastered turning corners and moonwalking in your walker, while slowly taking steps forward. Sitting up on your own while playing with toys. Your hand-eye coordination is immaculate, my little quarterback. You’re little dancy dance when you’re happy. The twiddling of your toes when you’re excited.

The way you smack your lips to let me know you’re hungry. Devouring every baby food + snack put in front of you. 22lbs and 29in. You’re my little red, mommy’s sweet boy.

Thank you for teaching me to slow down and treasure every moment. Can’t wait to continue to love you for the rest of my existence.

Sam and I are coming up on five years of marriage in a few months and I just can’t wrap my mind around it 🌿 I still get butterflies when I see him.

I’m looking forward to more date nights, traveling adventures and more memories together. 💐

Life with you is full of love and laughter. It by no means is perfect, but we have committed our lives to support each other’s endeavors, careers, dreams, happiness, etc.

Each day with you I know I’m truly loved. Our kids are loved and our marriage is your priority. I get to do life with my sexy best friend. What more can I ask for?

I can’t believe she’s three 🥺
Seems like just yesterday I was pregnant with her dreaming of what she’ll look like. Now she’s a whole little lady who speaks in full sentences, completely independent, the bubbliest personality, excellent sense of humor, sassy, and such a little singer!

She made me a mom and reminds me often “you’re the best mom in the world!” She’s my bed friend whose always willing to help, gives me affection without asking, and always looking out for others.

She’s the most kind hearted, attentive girl. Madalyn, you’re my whole heart, I love you! 🌿

| Madalyn’s been using JOHNSON'S baby wash and lotion since since birth. It leaves her skin so soft and it smells absolutely amazing. Now that I’m a mother of two, I LOVE that SamsClub.com carries the larger 1 liter bottles!! (Only available online).

I don’t have to stock up on a few bottles at a time anymore. I can give the two of them baths without worrying about running out. I’m actually getting more product for less money. It’s a win-win 🧴🛁

These are products I’ve used and loved as a child, so to have my children use them, it’s quite beautiful.
