Sakaja equated Nairobi United's dream to Luol Deng's South Sudan Basketball team and Masai Ujiri's Toronto Raptors who started their journey to the top way back in 2011 and success has been achieved. Raptors won the NBA while South Sudan played for the first time ever at the Paris Olympics.
Football Kenya Federation Referees Manager Sylvester Kirwa has lauded the FKF administration for putting forward the plight of referees in Kenya. Kirwa said that the issue of payment of referees and planning of their match logistics like travel to match venues has been prioritized. Referees are paid their dues promptly and are taken through Physical Endurance Trainings on a regular basis
