SCARY SCENE AS A KIAMBU MAN SLITS HIS THROAT IN PUBLIC AFTER EX-WIFE REFUSED TO FORGIVE HIM.
A Kiambu man shocked onlookers after he cut his throat after his ex-wife refused to take him back.
A 23-year-old man on Tuesday travelled from Thika town in Kiambu County to Naivasha town in Nakuru County to reconcile with his estranged wife, and when his mission failed, he harmed himself.
When the wife refused to take him back, the man is said to have slit his throat using glass from a broken alcohol bottle.
The Standard reports that the two were kicked out from a matatu they had boarded because of their bitter change of words.
Eyewitnesses said the man was heard threatening his ex-wife that he would kill himself if she was not willing to forgive him, and take him back.
“When his bid failed, he broke a beer bottle that he was holding, and used one of the broken pieces of glass to harm himself,” Jacinta Wangeci, a witness privy to the incident,

STATEMENT BY HON. BABU OWINO ON INCIDENT
A few weeks ago, I made a public statement regarding threats that I had been receiving against my life. At the turn of the year, I reported an attempted assassination at the Parliament Police Station under OB number OB21/17/11/2019 at 17:28hrs. I have been living under the weight of intimidation and threats by my political opponents.
Yesterday was the culmination of these efforts by my enemies. While enjoying the company of my friends at a popular Nairobi restuarant, I was surrounded by a large group of aggressive individuals. In the melee, there was an exchange of gunfire.
I invite the relevant authorities to conduct their investigations without fear or favor and I remain confident that the truth will come out.
I urge my supporters to remain calm. I will continue to serve wananchi fearlessly. This will not deter me from supporting H. E Uhuru Kenyatta and H. E Raila Odinga in the journey to transform our country.

FORM 3 STUDENT KILLS 6-MONTHS-OLD-BABY AND COMMITS SU***DE.
A Form Three student at Kapkiamo Secondary School in Baringo County on Wednesday committed su***de after killing her 6-month-old baby.
Lucy Chelimo reportedly killed the baby boy after her mother declined to take care of the infant while she continues with her education.
According to neighbours, the baby was conspicuously missing on Monday and, upon inquiry, Lucy claimed to have taken him to his father.
The response however raised eye brows, prompting the area chief to visit her in school for further questioning on the baby’s whereabouts.
The 16-year-old girl however took her own life at 5am by hanging herself on a tree outside their compound.
Speaking to Netizens News, neighbours who thronged the compound blamed the girl’s mother for refusing to take care of the baby to allow her focus on her studies.

WORLD ATHLETICS TO BAN THE CONTROVERSIAL SHOES USED BY ELIUD KIPCHOGE DURING THE INEOS MARATHON.
Since Kenya's Brigid Kosgei used the controversial shoes to break Paula Radcliffe Marathon record in the Chicago Marathon, there have been increased calls for outlawing of the controversial Nike shoes.
The World Athletics is considering banning the controversial shoes as reported by the Daily mail News that the shoes have an advantage on its foam and carbon fibre sole-plate.
World Marathon record holder, Eliud Kipchoge used the shoes in the INEOS 1:59 challenge race.
"The contentious issue is the foam and carbon-fibre composition of the sole, which acts like a spring to help runners get the most forward push from each stride. A technical body looking into the Nike shoes are set to deliver their findings at the end of this month," Daily Mail alluded.
It remains to be seen whether the Nike Vaporfly shoes used by Brigit to oust Radcliffe Marathon record will affect her Chicago record of; 2hrs 14min 2secs. Radcliffe had set a world record of 2:15:23 time during the London Marathon in 2003.

YOUNG GIRL HAS CLAIMED TO ENJOY SLEEPING WITH HER DAD SINCE SHE WAS 14 YEARS OLD - SHE SAID.
She said she has not been able to love any other man apart from her dad whom she has found satisfying.
She goes by the name Tinuke Ajenufuja, obviously a Yoruba girl from Ekiti state in Nigeria, she also added that she has two elder brothers and an elder sister.
She explained that she loved and prepared going out with her father than any other person, her father's name she said is Mr. Samuel Ajenufuja whom she loves taking shower together with.
She explained that it started on a normal day, Tinuke and her dad went for an outing as they normally do, after all the fun between a father and his daughter, they decided to go home, on getting to the house, it was empty, everyone (her siblings and mother) had gone out also.
And the episode started, Tinuke's father decided to take his bath so he could rest his head, but Tinuke asked to join him in the bath, the father didn't refuse, he agreed and they both got naked in the bathroom taking their bath, Tinuke touched her father's "power house" expecting him to caution her and probably quarrel her but he didn't, instead she noticed the power house coming alive, boom and they had s*x in the bathroom (probably what he's never done with his wife before)
Since that happened, it became costume to the both party to enjoy themselves whenever everyone else is out of the house.
She claims to enjoy her father's performance and haven't been able to have a working relationship since she started having s*x with her father.

MAN WITH AK-47 RIFLE WHO CAUSED PANIC IN PANGANI IS AN OFFICER, POLICE CONFIRM.
The man carrying an AK47 assault rifle, whose picture has been making rounds on social media, is an Administration Police officer who was duty at the time the picture was taken.
This is according to Nairobi Police Commander Philip Ndolo.
He is our officer who was crossing over to Muthaiga where the police vehicle was, to join his colleagues Ndolo said.
This after residents of Pangani raised the alarm on Tuesday morning about the an unidentified man who was walking tall, with magazine pouches on his chest.
Area residents who spoke to Netizens News said the man looked suspicious and they feared he might cause mayhem in the densely populated neighbourhood.
A man who was carrying an AK47 assault rifle being wrestled to the ground by police officers.

“He was walking really fast and I was scared because he appeared suspicious and we thought he would cause chaos,” Mr Allan Maticha a resident of Mlango Kubwa said.
Another area resident, Beatrice Mwihaki, said that the sight of the man, who was walking without engaging anyone, caused great panic in the area.
“He was wearing dark sunglasses and it was hard to tell how he looks like,” she said.
The residents later alerted police who quickly responded and arrested the man.

A US Army base in Iraq has been hit by rockets.
Army base in Iraq has been targeted by five rockets, reigniting fears of conflict in the region.
The Camp Taji base around 17 miles north of Baghdad was hit on Tuesday evening, Arab media reported.
At least one rocket is believed to have landed close to gates of the base, which is home to coalition forces near Baghdad.
Reports say at least one member of security forces has been injured.
Arabic media described the attacks as "fierce" and "violent".
