He is Never Alone. I think by now we have witnessed what love and support is.

15/07/2024

Irba Movement principals despite being in opposition (Azimio affiliative) none of them have commented on the horrific discovery of mutilated bodies in Nairobi, a matter of grave concern that affects us all. This silence is deafening and reveals their true priorities.

Their lack of response to such a significant issue clearly indicates that they are driven by self-interest rather than the well-being of the public. In light of these events, it is clear that the Irba Movement does not have our best interests at heart.

I urge you to reject the Irba Movement and instead support leaders who are genuinely committed to transparency, integrity, and the public good.

Breaking News: President Ruto fires entire Cabinet except DP Gachagua & Prime CS Mudavadi.

Speaking during a media briefing at State House Nairobi on July 11, President Ruto announced that only Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi will remain in office.

Similarly, the office of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is unaffected by the drastic move.

The following are the Cabinet secretaries who have been dismissed.

To the Irba Movement.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent actions of the Irba movement in Tana River County. It has come to my attention that you have been using outdated pictures from 2021/ 2022 to falsely inflate your numbers and portray a misleading image of your current support.

Such tactics are not only deceptive but also undermine the trust and integrity that the people of Tana River County have placed in you. Transparency and honesty are crucial in any political organization, and this behavior is nothing short of a scam.

In contrast, the Tana Balo movement has demonstrated genuine commitment and integrity in serving our community. I wholeheartedly believe that Tana Balo is the real movement dedicated to the progress and well-being of Tana River County.

I welcome you all to join the Tana Balo movement, where transparency, honesty, and true representation are our core values.

What is the advantage of eating bananas often?

Eating bananas regularly can provide numerous advantages for your health and well-being. Here are some key benefits of consuming bananas:

1. Nutritional Value: Bananas are rich in essential nutrients. They are an excellent source of dietary fiber, vitamin C, vitamin B6, potassium, manganese, and magnesium. These nutrients support various bodily functions, including proper digestion, immune system health, and maintaining healthy blood pressure levels.

2. Digestive Health: Bananas contain both soluble and insoluble fiber, which promote healthy digestion. Soluble fiber helps regulate bowel movements, prevents constipation, and supports the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. Insoluble fiber adds bulk to the stool, aiding in the movement of waste through the digestive tract.

3. Energy Boost: Bananas are a natural energy source due to their high carbohydrate content, including a significant amount of easily digestible sugars such as glucose, fructose, and sucrose. Eating a banana can provide a quick energy boost, making it an ideal snack for athletes or anyone in need of an energy pick-me-up.

4. Heart Health: The potassium content in bananas plays a vital role in maintaining heart health. It helps regulate blood pressure levels by counteracting the effects of sodium, thus reducing the risk of hypertension and stroke. The fiber content also assists in lowering cholesterol levels, thereby supporting cardiovascular health.

5. Mood Enhancement: Bananas contain tryptophan, an essential amino acid that the body converts into serotonin, a neurotransmitter known for its mood-enhancing effects. Serotonin helps regulate mood, sleep, and appetite, contributing to an overall sense of well-being and relaxation.

6. Weight Management: Despite being relatively low in calories, bananas can help with weight management due to their fiber content. The fiber keeps you feeling fuller for longer, reducing the chances of overeating. Additionally, the natural sugars in bananas provide a healthier alternative to processed sweets.

7. Exercise Performance: The carbohydrates in bananas make them a great pre- or post-workout snack. Consuming a banana before exercise provides a readily available source of energy, while post-workout, it aids in replenishing glycogen stores and reducing muscle soreness.

8. Improved Digestive Health: Pectin, a type of soluble fiber found in bananas, helps soothe the digestive tract and acts as a prebiotic, promoting the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. This can contribute to a healthy gut microbiome and improved overall digestive health.

9. Eye Health: Bananas contain a small amount of vitamin A and other antioxidants that are beneficial for eye health. These nutrients help protect the eyes from damage caused by free radicals and support good vision.

10. Natural Stress Relief: Bananas contain magnesium, a mineral that helps relax muscles and promote a sense of calm. Consuming bananas can help reduce stress levels and promote relaxation.

In summary, incorporating bananas into your diet can provide a wide range of benefits, including improved digestion, increased energy levels, enhanced mood, heart health support, weight management, better exercise performance, and more. Remember to consume bananas as part of a balanced diet to enjoy their full advantages.

The "Hierarchy Shift Theory" posits that when the leading individual in a stable hierarchy is removed, the individuals in the subsequent positions will move up in rank accordingly.

For instance, in a classroom setting where James is always number one, Jake always number two, and John always number three, if James transfers to another school, Jake would become number one and John would become number two.

This same principle can be applied in politics: if a prominent political leader (Leader A) exits the scene, the second most influential leader (Leader B) would likely become the top leader, with the third most influential leader (Leader C) moving up to the second position, assuming the hierarchy remains relatively stable and no new major contenders emerge.

Now with above theory and explanation let's base our Discussion in Tana River Politics. Let's examine the Governor's position by using 2017 and 2022 general election results.

I believe by now you know who will be the next governor.

What does Parliament Mace in Kenya Symbolize

The Parliament Mace in Kenya is a ceremonial staff that symbolizes the authority of the National Assembly and the Senate. It is used in various parliamentary traditions and functions within the legislative process. Here are key aspects of the Parliament Mace in Kenya:

Symbolism
1. Authority and Power: The mace represents the authority and dignity of the Parliament. It signifies that the proceedings of the House are legitimate and conducted under lawful authority.
2. Custodianship: The Serjeant-at-Arms is responsible for the mace and its safeguarding. The presence of the mace in the chamber indicates that the House is properly constituted.

Usage in Proceedings
1. Commencement of Sessions: The parliamentary session cannot commence without the mace in the chamber. It is placed on a central table during sittings.
2. Ceremonial Role: During formal occasions such as the State Opening of Parliament, the mace is carried in a procession and placed in a prominent position within the chamber.
3. Symbol of Order: The Speaker of the House controls the proceedings with the mace symbolizing their authority. If the mace is removed from the chamber, it signifies that the House is not in session or the proceedings are not in order.

Design and Structure
1. Craftsmanship: The mace is usually a beautifully crafted staff, often made of precious metals and adorned with national symbols and intricate designs.
2. Length and Weight: It is typically around 4 to 5 feet long and has a significant weight, emphasizing its importance and the seriousness of its role.

Historical Context
1. Colonial Heritage: The tradition of using a mace in parliamentary procedures in Kenya, like in many other Commonwealth countries, stems from British colonial influence.
2. Modern Adaptations: Over time, Kenya has incorporated its cultural elements into the design and use of the parliamentary mace, reflecting the country’s unique identity.

Protocols and Security
1. Handling the Mace: Only specific officials, primarily the Serjeant-at-Arms and their deputies, can handle the mace. This ensures its protection and upholds its ceremonial significance.
2. Respect and Decorum: Members of Parliament are expected to show respect to the mace. Disrespecting the mace is considered a serious breach of parliamentary decorum.

The Parliament Mace thus serves not only as a functional object but also as a powerful symbol of the legislative authority and historical continuity of Kenya’s parliamentary system.

To the 204 Members of Parliament who voted 'Yes' on the Finance Bill 2024,

The passage of this bill is a deep disappointment to me and countless other Kenyans. By voting in favor, you have ignored the voices and concerns of the public who will bear the brunt of the increased taxes and financial burdens. This decision reflects a disconnection from the daily struggles faced by ordinary citizens and demonstrates a lack of empathy for the economic hardships that many are enduring.

Your vote has sent a clear message that the priorities of the people are secondary to other interests. We expected you to stand with us, to champion our needs, and to consider the long-term impact of such measures on the most vulnerable in our society.

We, the public, demand accountability and transparency. We call for a reassessment of the bill with a focus on fair and equitable solutions that do not disproportionately affect the struggling majority.

Furthermore, we will remember this betrayal in 2027. We will not vote for representatives who have shown a disregard for the welfare of the people they were elected to serve. We need leaders who truly listen and act in the best interests of their constituents.

Today, I had the privilege of observing the NAVCDP election in Hirimani ward . While it was certain to see many participating, I noticed some behaviour that was concerning. It’s important to remember that elections are about more than just one person or one tribe; they are about the collective well-being and the democratic process that ensures fairness and equality for all.

To those whose tribe is in power, I urge you to remain humble and respectful. Power should not be a reason for division or arrogance. Let us not allow politics to overshadow our unity and the peace we have built together.

Remember, leadership is about serving the community, not ruling over it. Let us all strive to uphold the principles of respect, fairness, and harmony, regardless of the political outcome.

Watu wangu wa Hirimani ward. Let's work together for the greater good.

Peace and goodwill to all.
