DEAR SIS, DO NOT DATE THAT BROKE MAN!!!

If your broke behind doesn't have a job, what business do you have sweating on top of someone's daughter???😂🤣😂🤣😂

There's a trend especially on social media that is keen on encouraging girls and women to support and date guys who are FLAT BROKE until they come into their own.

It would have been one thing if the emphasis was on building each other in a relationship of EQUALS ; however this movement is hell bent on vilifying women who are looking to be in relationships with financially stable men as mere GOLD DIGGERS .

Some women afraid of seeming HIGH MAINTENANCE , have accepted broke men into their lives only to find themselves providing and paying all the bills . Below are reasons why it is non sensical to date a broke man:

1. MEN LITERALLY HAVE ONE JOB, DON'T BE BROKE! THEY ALSO DON'T GET PREGNANT!! As such they do not remain with the children . They are bigger and stronger on average too. It is therefore a disgrace for a woman to take care of an able bodied man🤮 . That man must rise to the occasion and prove his manhood!

2. HE WILL DISCARD YOU ONCE HE BECOMES FINANCIALLY STABLE . They say that your struggle gives you the woman you need , but your success the woman you want. Beggars have no options, and as such it is very convenient for such a man to commit in a relationship especially with a woman who provides for him . His need for you will expire the moment he gets his own cheque , and he will go for his dream girl now that he is able to afford one.

3. NO ONE EVER FAULTS A GUY FOR WANTING TO MARRY A WOMAN WHO IS SUCCESSFUL AND ATTRACTIVE! Why is it that men are allowed to have standards and women are not?? Men will have all sorts of requirements before getting into a relationship with a woman , some even that are not practical . But society will call out a woman for demanding that her man be able to provide for her. That is HYPOCRISY and DOUBLE STANDARDS of the highest calibre.

4. TALK ABOUT A BORING RELATIONSHIP 🥱😫. When all your friends are going places with their partners, you will probably be stuck in his STUFFY , NO AIR-CONDITIONING ROOM staring at each other's faces. Your relationship scope will mostly comprise of arguments and using s*x to make up . That is a very un-fulfilling relationship.

5. HE WILL DEMAND TOO MUCH RESPECT FROM YOU. To cover up his insecurities about his financial state , he will demand an unrealistic expectations for respect, EXPECTING TO BE TREATED LIKE A DEMI-GOD! This is hilarious as even men of means who buy their women expensive gifts would never imagine that level of reverence that his insecure self will demand.

6. HE WILL ALWAYS EMBARASS YOU BEFORE YOUR PEERS . Every time you go out with friends he will probably be the first to leave the table as he is unable to pay the bills. It will be even worse when you request him to entertain some of your female friends who will loose respect for him as soon as they perceive he is a stingy man.

7. YOU MAY BE TEMPTED TO CHEAT ON HIM WHEN YOU COME ACROSS A MAN WHO WILL GIVE YOU EVERYTHING. This is because to many women, their language of love includes gift. You will fall out of love with him and end up in a nasty break-up.

Two people have died in a grisly accident on the Sagana Karatina road , with another person being admitted to hospital in critical condition.

The accident occured at Kibirigwi involving a saloon car and a lorry belonging to Mombasa Maize Millers.

Eye witnesses have recounted how the driver of the Lorry was trying to overtake the Saloon car when the incident happened.

The driver of the Lorry has since been arrested and the 2 bodies taken to Karatina Mortuary.

5 'FRIENDLY' EXCUSES "NICE" GUYS HAVE USED TO DUMP YOU!!!💔💔💔💔💔

Relationships, like all good things in life eventually come to an end. It is especially painful when one is on the receiving end of a break-up.

However, the break up is even worse if instead of hearing the truth about why your relationship is ending, you're subjected to some lousy excuses that wont give you closure and make it harder for you to move on.

Below are some excuses that self proclaimed 'NICE' Kenyan men have used to break-up with you in the past:

1. WE SHOULD TAKE A BREAK : We are all familiar with this excuse that many women have heard before from cowardly men who wanted to end things but were afraid of facing the woman about how they feel. Sis, if a man tells you this thank God and run for the hills. That man is unstable and would sooner leave you in tough situations in life than face issues head on. Relationships are not buses that you can board and alight at will.

2. YOU ARE TOO GOOD FOR ME , YOU DESERVE BETTER: Some women who are known to be long-suffering have a tendency of taking in toxic men in the hope of "fixing them". Dear Sis that man will take you for all that you have and abuse your kindness and when he is finally done using you , he will remind you of his past and where you took him from. At this point , you may have nothing left to give him . He will praise your saintliness and move on to the next. Women should know that they are not rehabilitation centers for toxic men!!!

3.I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH , AND IT SCARES ME: We are all meant to face our fears and overcome them in this life. No one ever loved air so much that it scared them as far as suffocating themselves to death. If a man loves you, he will move heaven and earth to be with you because that is the nature of love. Sis, If a man tells you this he is most probably a smooth talker who wants to leave his options open for when he may want to charm his way back into your life to break your heart afresh.

4.IT'S NOT YOU, IT'S ME: Every relationship is made up of more than one person. When a man tells you that he is the problem in the relationship, he is just communicating that the relationship was never his idea , and that it was you who initiated it and has been sustaining it. Dear Sis , such a man is not worth your effort. He is immature and unfocused and he will disappoint you time after time. Clearly, the issue is you as he is not content being with you!!

5. LET'S BUILD OUR FRIENDSHIP FIRST : This is the greatest excuse that Kenyan women fall for when dating 'nice' guys. After sweeping a woman off their feet and getting their way with her , some men may not be man enough to let the lady know that what they shared was simply a moment. Instead they would "suffer " in the relationship for long periods of time in order not to destroy their nice guy persona. When things settle down, they will take the first chance when problems arise to remind their woman that their relationship does not have a strong friendship background and as such it is prudent to sort that bit out. They will say things moved too fast for them and as such they need to slow things down .The problem with these is that the man has probably moved on
leaving the woman with expectations of a re union and a stronger relationship. Dear Sis, be clear from the very beginning of what you want from that man . Don't let him into your heart , if he is not ready to give you the love that you deserve.

BETTY GATUNE : I HAVE SURVIVED TWO GRISLY ACCIDENTS, LOST MY SECOND HUSBAND AND AM TAKING CARE OF MY BED RIDDEN SON

Betty Gatune , a 50 year old woman from Banana in Kiambu County has painfully recounted how she lost her husband this year , after surviving two road accidents this year. On top of that , she has had to take care of her bed-ridden son who also was involved in a road accident this year.

Speaking to Viu Sasa , the mother of six said that her woes begun when a speeding taxi rammed into her at her place of work at Kobil Petrol Station and drove off. Karuri Hospital would be her next stop having sustained crashed hips and broken legs. The injuries were made worse by the fact that she had endured a prior accident in October 2019.

She was sent to convalesce at home , jobless and bed-ridden with a rope tied to her roof to help her sit up. This left her husband James Waithaka , a construction worker as the sole bread winner of the family.

As fate would have it , James was involved in an accident at work in the month of July when a bag of cement fell on him ,throwing him to the ground almost snapping his back and crashing his spinal cord. He returned home where for two weeks he played down his injuries until they got worse.

Betty was then prompted to take him to Kiambu Hospital for an X ray that showed that he had a massive blood clot in his upper hip. He was immediately admitted as his condition was worsening. The doctors also ordered that he be tested for Covid 19 which they found that he was positive .

James would be rushed to the Covid 19 Isolation wards where he succumbed in less than a week. Betty was informed of his death three days later. On 2/8/2020 Betty's husband was gone shattering her world. He would then be hurriedly and shoddily buried at the Karuri Cemetry after squabbles with his in laws over the right to bury him.

While all these was happening Betty was still taking care of her Son Dennis Munene who had been bedridden after being run over by a speeding matatu REG KBU OO3X. After consultations at Karuri Hospital and Kiambu Hospital an X ray and CT Scan was done . He would then be admitted for three weeks.

The scans showed that Dennis sustained blunt injuries in his pelvis and multiple fractures around his p***c rami. A catheter was inserted and he was advised to get a belt to secure his pelvis.

Betty , who feels totally isolated and helpless in the face of injustice said that despite reporting her accident and filing a case, the taxi driver who hit her and fled roams free. Also the Matatu driver involved in her son's accident has not been held to account for his actions.

Betty has been hard pressed to feed her three sons and pay rent for the single room that they call a home. This is in addition to taking care of Dennis and his medical bills as he needs a catheter change every fortnight and many check ups. He also needs an X ray at Kshs 7000 , a challenging amount for Betty.

PUT A RING ON IT! : WOMAN SUES MAN FOR WASTING HER 8 YEARS IN DATING WITHOUT MARRIAGE

A woman has dragged her boyfriend to Court for refusing to marry her after wasting her time dating him for 8 years.

Getrude Ngoma 26 told a Zambian Court that she was tired of waiting to get married to Herbert Salaliki 28 who had promised to wed her.

Despite the man paying for her dowry , and even giving birth to his child , Ngoma complained that she was still living with her parents instead of joining her husband.

"Your Honor, he has never been serious that is why I brought him to Court because I deserve to know the way forward and my future with him."

Ngoma also accused Salaliki of being involved with another woman whom she says they frequently exchange texts with.

In his defense Salaliki told the Court that he had failed to marry Ngoma as he could not afford a wedding at this time. He also told the Court that there was no communication between the two as Ngoma never gave him any attention.

Presiding magistrate Evelyn Nalwize advised the woman to sue for breach of marriage contract and further advised her that the court could not do anything because there was no marriage though dowry was paid.

She said reconciliation is for people in marriage.

David Mathenge aka Nameless has said that his parents celebrated 56 years of marriage over the weekend.

Although his dad had a tough year undergoing brain surgery only to be re-admitted 3 weeks later for a hip replacements, he beat the odds to make it to the anniversary for the love of his life with whom they are growing old together.

We wish Mathenge Senior and his beau wife Eunice a happy 56th anniversaries with many more to come!

Songstress Akothee has said that her mom is the most difficult woman to please.

According to Akothee ,her mom refused to board a flight that she had booked for her to Nairobae for Vesha's graduation and instead opted to come via Bus.

Upon arriving she also refused to hug her daughter , because she could infect her with Corona accusing her of "moving around alot"

Akothee's mom also repremanded her for saying she educated her children with nobody's help, saying that it was by God's grace and not her daughter's might.

Adding salt to injury, she told Akothee to be greatful to God that her daughters were disciplined enough not to get pregnant despite their mother being rich

Comedian Mammito has revealed how her mother struggled to raise her as a single parent after giving birth to her at the age of 15.
