Back to Solo parenting after my partner had a longer break than usual from his FIFO job, soon realising how much you appreciate your other half when there gone…

For our family, parenting is a team effort, but there are occasions when one of us has to shoulder on the responsibilities alone. From managing the daily routines of the household to handling unexpected situations as well as the cooking and cleaning which can be very exhausting.

Having a FIFO partner, I certainly become more appreciative of the time when we are together as a family and the special moments we create with our children.

Expressing gratitude and recognising our partners contributions is really important too. They are also a key element in our children’s life and our own.

I didn’t want my partner having to leave myself and my children anymore to work long hours trading his time for money and not having a proper work life balance.

I was tired of the heart-breaking goodbyes, seeing my children upset because daddy was leaving and they couldn’t understand why. This was enough for me to decide that something had to change.

So, I went on a journey and explored the online space. I found a business model that will give us the freedom to have fun living life on our own terms without worrying about finances, how much things cost or even having to check our bank balance!

It will be able to retire my partner from FIFO life in a matter of months to give back our time together so we can be a family again. Something that I always dreamed of but never thought was possible.

One thing I have learnt is that in the next 5 years, every single person is going to need some form of online income to really get ahead. If they don’t, they will just get left behind..

High Ticket affiliate marketing is the key..once you understand it, you get it, you can’t un-see it.

This means no advertising products on social media or no holding or posting products to people. No cold calling or no reaching out to family and friends! Adjusting to motherhood was one of the most difficult transitions I ever made…

My whole identity shifted in an instant. The life I had the day before giving birth becomes an entirely different and unreachable world. The person I was before motherhood is essentially gone.

Even though it seemed daunting to take care of anything other than my child who decides whether I eat or sleep, it was crucial to also create space for myself during this transition so I didn’t lose sight of who I was as an individual.

One way to rediscover myself during motherhood was to break out of our routine, try new things and go on a self-discovery journey to decide what it is I really wanted out of life. To try something that got me out of my comfort zone. Something that lights me up and creates a new purpose.

I had to find a balance between meeting my own needs and the family’s needs. I would see other mums on social media who were following their dreams in different ways and that was enough to tell me that I needed something in my life to change. Not knowing how I could fit something else into our busy schedule, but I made it work.

With no experience I found a way and stepped into the online space and created an extraordinary life for myself and my family. Instead of scrolling social media every day I used it to build a personal brand online using my social media to generate an epic income!

I focused on building myself and becoming the best version of myself. I now help other women create a business online just by utilising social media. We use a step-by-step system that is all done for us to literally plug in and go. There are consumers everywhere and social media reaches the globe so why not utilise it?

This business allows me to live in the moment. To be there for my children and do what needs to be done without the stress of where my income is coming from and how our family is going to pay the next bill.

It runs on automation and I have the freedom to choose what I want to do each day with my children all whilst contributing to the family finances all from my phone, its that’s simple.

It’s lemon season! Lemon tress will fruit in the winter and begin to produce fruit somewhere between 4 months to 1 year after flowers blossom. We have so many at the moment, so grateful to have endless access to them! We can use them in so many things like cakes, biscuits, slices even to make homemade lemonade! Yum! 😋🍋🍋

Being a FIFO mumma isn’t easy…it definitely has its ups and downs and the burnout is real…

But Anyone who has worked FIFO knows there are a lot of positives to it. The schedules usually give FIFO workers a lot of quality time off, for example they might work three weeks and then have a full week off back at home. That’s the kind of quality time a lot of ‘9-5, Monday to Friday’ workers don’t get with their families. Absence makes the heart grow fonder as they say, right?

But let’s not pretend the fly in fly out lifestyle doesn’t come with its own set of challenges. Being a FIFO wife or husband is a unique experience that the majority certainly do not share.

The challenge is riding the emotional rollercoaster of someone you love coming and going. Everyone is different so you learn to set your own routines. It’s so natural to feel an energy slump when they go and a rush of excitement when they come back. But we do have to remember that the FIFO worker is doing this for the whole family because they just want the best life for them.

Also a big thing to remember is your life is always going to have challenges and ups and downs no matter what job your partner has. Teamwork makes the dream work in any relationship. That means you and your partner need to agree on how you’ll manage the FIFO life together. Having a game plan and believing in yourself helps too.

When I started doing this everything started to change. I could see the bigger picture and the end goal. I found a simple business in the online space that would be able to retire my partner in a matter of months. A business that would give our family back our time together and a business that would give us more money than the FIFO life would.

All I had to do was have a burning desire and a strong commitment to myself and work on something I enjoy. Anyone can do this. I have complete control over my schedule now. I can be my own boss and be there for my children when they need me.
