KING WAVES KILL ✌🏼

But seriously, Quobba Blowholes is worth the visit 👌🏼 The campground is a great spot (our tip - keep driving past the first spots and you’ll find plenty of perfect spaces right behind the dunes with your own walkway to the beach/high spots to watch those magical sunsets) with snorkelling in the nearby bay and of course watching that epic coastline and blowholes…🌊 The sunsets…NEK LEVEL! 😍

There are dump points and bins but no water so fill up at Carnarvon. Also the Tuckerbox food van at the blowholes do great coffee and donuts! 👏🏼

BUSH MEETS BEACH OFFGRID CAMPING…🌿🌊⛺️

Probably one of our favourite parts about is finding hidden gems…we can safely say this is 100% our fave hidden gem to date!

In our summer travels to cross 3 states we went the coast roads from NSW across Victoria and stayed at the lovely Coringle Beach/Orbost. Famously where the Snowy River meets the ocean, this stop unexpectedly took our breathe away!

We saw seals playing at the river mouth, wild coastline, beach spots and of course the mighty Snowy River! But our spot was something else…😮‍💨

Vast open ranch style land, mountain and bush backdrop and the most beautiful horses right in front…flat soft grass, fires allowed and gorgous sunsets! This camp has total Yellowstone vibes! The ocean is only over the back behind the trees so falling asleep to the sound of waves adds an extra peaceful touch! 🙌🏼

This is a 10/10 spot! Don’t miss it if you’re travelling in Vic! 👌🏼 Deets here 👇🏼

Anyone else have problems with the Camec instantaneous hot water

We have had it replaced under warranty and its still throwing error codes, gas plumber has been out several times to try and sort it...temp sits about 13degrees higher than the set temp (yes obviously set it to the lowest but played with many temps to try and get it right)

If anyone has any info or tips would be much appreciated

BURRUM HEADS 🐚

Such a cracker beach front spot! We stayed at , an unbelievable spot if you’re after bush or beach camping!

With a covered communal area, dirt bike track and beach access this is a worthwhile stay for couples or families! These guys are also making this site even better with a dump point + shower/toilet facilities! 🙌🏼

The kids loved collecting crabs and shells (SO many shells! 😳) and the tree swing!

QLD…beautiful one day, attacked by midges the next 🦟😵

I thought I knew what an allergic reaction to insects was like (I usually welt up a little from mozzies etc) but midges are NEK LEVEL! ☠️

First night in Airlie resulted in over 50 bites to my legs 🥴 In the nights that followed I was up wanting to rip my skin off/researching all the remedies for hours! Then during the day I was testing them all cause the itch was so intense 😩

Here is the short + tested version of what you need 👇🏼

🦟 A preventative/healing cream - either ‘The Locals’ cream or ‘Good Riddance’. Don’t waste your time with anything else! These are the ULTIMATE in prevention AND relief. Also will prevent infection

🦟 Mozzie Gear Mosquito Click - I was skeptical of this but it works! Uses a little electrical zap to eliminate the itch and inflammation 👌🏼

🦟 Heat or Cold application - I put ice bricks on my legs and this took away the itch/pain, some people find dipping a spoon in boiling water then pressing onto the bites works the same way or a super hot shower…see what works best for you

🦟 And finally - antihistamines. I discovered theres actually different types, the ones pictured worked best for me and apparently for most for insect bites!

Never underestimating QLD midges ever again! 🙃

We often get asked on what towels we use in the van…

We needed something that could go between all climates and would dry well in the van…

We found ‘the one’! - !

As someone who hates the feeling of microfibre towels, I went off a fellow travellers recommendation that was NOT like a normal microfibre towel! Can confirm this is 100% correct!

The other things we love about them? They are super soft and very quick drying, feel like a normal towel, come in two hooded towel sizes for the kids (yesss to using them as beach towels too! 👏🏼) and two sizes for the adults too (bath sheet and regular) and finally the rainbow range of colours means everyone gets their fave colour!

POV - us saying goodbye to 2022 and welcoming in 2023!
✨🌺🌊🌴🐠🌞

Exactly how we like to spend it…surrounded by friends, family, water and beautiful summer weather! 🙌🏼

NSW has (finally) turned it up! We have been up and down the east coast (nsw) over the past 6 weeks and it has been GLORIOUS! Our fave way to park up is definitely Hipcamp…nothing beats a beaut bush location with no crowds! Pure peace + tranquility in nature 🤌🏼

2022 was a huge year for us…so many ups and downs! Thankfully mostly ups!
Our biggest achievement and main focus was to rent our house out + move into the van…now that is ticked off the list we are ready to rumble! 💫

Next life upgrade ~ earning 100% from our affiliate marketing business! We are super keen to ditch the 12+ hour days 6 days a week 😵‍💫 and create a completely remote business that can be passed down to our kids! 💪🏼

We look forward to sharing our journey in business + travel for 2023! 👩🏻‍💻🤙🏼

DON'T MAKE THIS BEGINNERS MISTAKE...😬

This isn't our first rodeo! We have created a start up, worked online, been self employed and a sole trader

What can we share from this? One of the biggest mistakes we made in starting a business was not getting COACHING…😰

Maybe it was being naive, being too eager or maybe just ignorant to the power of receiving guidance from those that had walked the path before us

It honestly was the main reason why past businesses failed for us...

Without coaching we had no direction, no clarity, no support and no accountability

Basically like driving blind!

Learning from the people who are already where you want to be physically/financially/in business/whatever is the secret sauce to achieving your goals quicker and with much less stress and time wasting

A lot of people see coaching as a luxury they could go without...but think of the return on investment if you can hit your goals 3 x quicker than going it alone? Or earn 3 x more than you would going it alone?

The mindset, personal growth and business skills we have acquired over the past 8 months is on another planet to when we tried to go it alone…🤯

Investing in yourself is your biggest asset, one that will reward you forever! 💪🏼

WHO THE HELL ARE THE VISNERS?!

We are Adam + Talia, and our kids Beau, Everly + Tully!

We're you're average aussie family soon to start living in our van full time + working from the road! Simplifying our life, slowing down and exploring our beautiful country together as a family is what we are most excited for!🤌🏼

You'll find us getting outdoors, being on the water, 4wd'ing, exploring and drinking good coffee or a beer/wine! But mostly we have been doing the 'usual'! Working long hours, paying off a mortgage, wrangling 3 energetic/talkative kids and attempting to stay sane!🙃

Life is meant to be lived though right? 2020 was the year we finally decided to make a move on our lifestyle, we just kept thinking...is this it? Is this our life forever? We felt trapped in the cycle, we were sick + tired of living on the employee treadmill...one of us always away at work, the other single parenting most of the time and kids missing their dad. The little time away from work is a rush of getting some rest in, maintaining a house and getting away when possible. Time always feels like its never in our favour! Along with missing precious time with the kids, seeing their achievements and sports...work always has to come first and we want to change that.
We do not want to be continuing this cycle our whole lives, giving our best years to our employer, our kids growing up and missing that time with them and having an income capped to hours on the job👎🏼

We've been working hard on learning the new skills needed to go from traditional work to running an online business. Working online has been the catalyst and opportunity we needed to actually get out on the road travelling. We're only just getting started but man is the journey better than we ever thought possible! Mindset upgrades, professional coaching and a community of likeminded friends has been the icing on the cake for us!

We're pumped to get out there and explore our beautiful country while continuing to work remotely! Whether you're following along for our travels or interested in making the switch to working online yourself, we hope you enjoy our content and feel free to reach out to us about anything!🤙🏼

Was so great to catch up with our mates in the biz and get on the tracks on a cracker day! 🌞🌲 Beach, bush, 4wd’ing + a 4 hour recovery to end the day! Glad to say we really tested the cruiser + she excelled at every test!👌🏼 Epic!

Double Island Point is magic! We had such an awesome day, perfect weather, a long scenic beach drive, beautiful crystal water + calm bay for the kids to go nuts in! 👏🏼
