The County Government of Nyeri is in the process of preparing an Annual Development Plan for Financial Year 2024/2025.

This plan will inform on the projects and programs to be implemented in FY 2025/2026 which must be clearly aligned to the Nyeri County Integrated Development Plan.

As a part of the process, the Department of Finance held successful public participation exercises around the county to collect views, proposals and opinions of involved parties.

The exercise included the youth, women, men, PWDs and groups from all wards.

The groups later gathered in their respective wards where they discussed their proposals amongst themselves and later submitted to their respective leaders.

Similar exercises were also held in Kieni East, Kieni West, Mathira West, Mathira East, Mukurwe-ini, Tetu and Othaya.

We regret to inform you of the passing on of Simon Kaguongo Waweru, Revenue Officer III in charge of Tetu Sub County but stationed at Town Hall.

He collapsed at Gatitu and passed on as he was being rushed to hospital.

Kindly pray for his soul, family and colleagues.
