LIVING FOR THE WEEKEND

{ Shoutout Saturday }

To all the ladies who are excited they woke up this morning on the cusp of a new day…it’s the weekend…and that marks the end of their Hellish work week!

To all the ladies who are excited about the 48 hours of highly coveted 'FREE" time they are about to embark on!

BUT LETS BE HONEST

Most of you who work a traditional 9-5 are not truly “FREE” on the weekends.

You will spend these precious 48 hours “trying” to get evertything done to be able to start it all over again on Monday🤦🏻‍♀️

Or you will spend it exhausted and either sleep it away or binge-watch mindless Netflix to numb your brains so you don't have to think about work or all the stuff you need to cram into these next two days

You will spend it bitching about how little FREE time you have…

You may even spend it trying to rush to get in all the excitement and joy that you can because the week sucked the life out of you

IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY!

It's NOT meant to be this way!

Life is meant to be LIVED in love and joy and eager anticipation of what's next!

It's meant to be enjoyed and savored.

It's meant to be cherished and lived by choice!

I'm tired of watching people suffer by continuing to live life like a scene from Groundhog Day

23,201 US Life-Coaches registered their businesses in 2022.

In the first year 40% of them gave up.

WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL

It seems to me that there is some disconnect here…

Is it that these people have unrealistic expectations around what it takes to be a Life Coach?

Is it that these people keep thinking they need one more certification, course, or accreditation to validate their credibility so they are spending money to earn accolades without any monetary reward?

WHAT IF YOUR ONLINE BUSINESS COULD SUPPORT YOU FINANCIALLY SO YOU COULD ENJOY YOUR SOULS MISSION OF COACHING?!?!

Too many people (that I have spoken with) are desparate to coach others because they NEED money to live…not coaching for the ability to actually empower others♥️

Too many people are worried about “proving” that they are qualified, that they have enough knowledge, that they have training, etc that makes them look “better” to potential clients

Too many people are Hell-bent on providing so much value without charging adequately that they go into the downward spiral thinking that if they “DO” more the client will pay more!

REALITY CHECK

A lot of the most successful coaches and mentors that I know have ZERO certifications but a wealth of life experiences that trump any amount of “education”

A lot of the coaches and mentors I know have a HTAM offer running in the background supported by automation so that they can “coach” because they love empowering and helping other women at the soul level

A lot of coaches and mentors I know are so heart-centered that they are better equipped to help more clients if they arent locked into 1:1 coaching, trading time for money, but are inspiring them through personal development and leading by example while being financially supported

That feeling of dread

We all have those patterns of self-sabotage telling us that we can’t, it’s not for “us”, that we aren’t smart enough

BLAH BLAH BLAH

We all have some story from our childhood that keeps us stuck like a kid in quicksand telling us we aren’t like other people, that people like us can’t have “that kind” of money

BLAH BLAH BLAH

We all have some “set point” or limit of what we think we are capable of based upon some asinine elementary school test that said what our “career choice” as an adult should be xyz

BLAH BLAH BLAH

We ALL have the ability to change the narrative, to run circles around the bu****it stories, to create whatever it is we desire in life !

FUTURE PACING

As for me, I loved sales as a young adult because it was like a game : validation that “they” were all wrong about me…that I WAS outgoing, that I COULD accomplish huge sales amounts, that I COULD be “top dog” at something!

I loved working on commission and proving them all wrong- every month I was top salesperson I snickered as I cashed those checks and added another month of kudos to my plaque!

It was a “numbers game” for sure back then…the excitement and exhilaration of knocking on doors, seeing how many people I could talk to in one day, placing mental bets on the number of phone lines I could sell to one person (back when bag phones were the rage 😆)

LIFE CHANGES

I started having babies and the company sold so I decided I wanted to try my hand at something WFH so I could be a stay-at-home Momma and still make those epic paychecks!

Funny how different the world was then…I started working with a Health and Wellness company, using the products to lose that “baby fat” - I got fantastic results but man it was tough trying to fit in shake parties, and tell people about my results, and the money spent sending out samples was crazy ( I’m dating myself as this was before the internet and social media became the rage 😆)

I stocked closets full of product to buy my way into the next rank, so I wouldn’t have to start over at the lower commission scale, I angered everyone in my family because they were sick to death hearing about it, and I put us in a financial bind instead of contributing 🤯

OLD PATTERNS

The old thought patterns resurfaced and I went spiraling down into those mindless cesspool of thoughts that told me “they” had been right about me this whole time 💔

I wallowed in self pity and shame and frustration for decades- trying the “next” new thing hoping desperately for something to be my “BIG BREAK” instead of my breaking point!

FAST FORWARD

Today is totally different.

I have aligned myself with a 50 year old company that has a compensation plan like NOTHING I’ve ever seen!

I’ve become profitable already ( something I had NEVER accomplished in any of the other ventures) and my next sale will be a 4 figure commission ♥️💰

I NEVER derank

I have zero monthly sales quotas

There no annual license our distributor fees

And I’m not banging on doors, not cold calling, nor spamming ANYONE…my clients come to me through attraction marketing all off social media

I HAVE NOTHING TO PROVE

I literally get to show up for me every single day doing the inner work around mindset and money and limiting beliefs

I have a proven system and blueprint to follow and automation that runs in the background so I am making sales around the clock

I have a community that supports me, mentors me, and celebrates me!

NUMBERS DON’T LIE

To all the ladies who are scared to tell your husbands that you want to invest money in building an online business because he is the soul breadwinner and you feel like you have to ask to use “his” money

To all the ladies who have been there done that and “tried” a plethora of other things out of sheer desperation because you have no alternatives other than getting a 9-5 job

To all the ladies who silently bash yourself thinking it won’t happen fast enough, or you feel challenged around technical skills, or just plain ‘dumb’ when it comes to building a business online because you’ve never done something like this before

To all the ladies who think you are too old, too young, too busy, too scared, too broken, too…fill in the blank

IT WILL WORK THIS TIME

“Those” people are the same people busting their ass at a job they hate, working for a boss they despise, just existing, wishing their hours away so they can punch out and go home…

“Those” people are also the people sitting in front of Netflix at night, bitching about how horrible their life is, how they can’t catch a break, they can’t afford s**t, etc…

“Those” people will settle for a life of misery and surround themselves with others who validate their excuses, agree with their negativity, and rally around the fire of complaints

BE THE BREAKER OF CHAINS

Love your life so much that others want what you have

NATURE VERSUS NURTURE

{ Transformation Tuesday }

You know the age old dilemma of whether or not your behavior is determined by your birth genes or by whom you were raised ?!?

I’ve often thought about how much influence people have on us growing up !

🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️I realize that as Elementary school students we really don’t care who are friends are… we are just happy to have someone to play with at recess and eat lunch with and create masterpieces in Art class.

🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️As Middle schoolers…we are acutely aware of who we can and cannot be friends with… based upon the opinions of our parents (as to their opinion of our friends’ parents)…the underlying desire to be accepted and fit in…as well as the viewpoints of our teachers regarding certain students.

🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️Enter High School…the cliques are running rampant…the jocks make fun of the nerds and the math leaguers get stuffed in their lockers…and we do things we normally would not fathom in order to just to fit in…desperate to have a “squad” and hope to get a date to the Prom …

🤯🤯And by the time we reach adulthood, we are so entrenched in our “identities” that we continue to follow the path of our friends…marry who we think is right at the time…and follow the path that has been ingrained in our brains as what career we should have on based upon some psychological tests we are forced to take

IT’S NOT TOO LATE

You path is not etched in stone and the choice is always yours.

It’s said that we are the average sum of the 5 people we spend the most time with .

That being said…do you recognize the correlation between the attitude you have and the group of friends you have ?

Doing a lot of inner work has shifted my attitude and I have lost some friends along the way…but the amazing new friends I have made in the past 12 months are truly people who I will remain friends for life.

These women are my soul sisters…my tribe…my circle !
