DEALING WITH THE ANOINTED.
Men carry the grace and the gifts of God, when men cry and call out to God He raises men and anoints them as solutions to to other men.
God never anoint trees, buildings, houses or systems, He calls men and anoints them for divine purposes. He has always used men and will always use them. When the whole world was in dilemma God sent a man not an angel. Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth his son made of a woman made under the law to redeem them that were under the law that we might receive the adoption of sins..
Now when it comes to dealing with anointed men we must be sensitive not to become familiar with them especially if they are your friend.
1. Never speak to a pastor or a man of God when you are upset because he did something that did not please you, something you didn't like..
It is better to relax and handle that case with all humility and respect required.
2. Address them in an appropriate manner
Pastors may not mind how you address them or even how you call them but the anointing of God in their lives will mind.
When dealing with them address them properly and with respect, esteem them. It is OK to call your pastor sir or ma'am call them with respect. Don't get used to them until you call them, " MTU wangu." " My bestie"
It just may seem to be ok but it is not OK. Honor them and address them with respect.
2. Don't try to find faults in them.
At times they might even be wrong but your responsibility is to pray for them not to point out where they are wrong. They are men of God not your men neither are they angels of God.. Before they become of God they are men and they can make mistakes just like any other men or women, stop finding faults in them. A pastor is a gift from God to men and it matters how you treat him or her. It matters how you treat what God has given you. Anointing of God works where it is celebrated.
4. Never assume that you are at the same level with them.
No matter how anointed you become, you are not above your teacher neither are you equal with them. You maybe even age mates with him or her but you are not grace mates treat them with dignity especially when you begin to be anointed. Thinking that you are equal or better than them is a deception and a dangerous disease that killed Korah, Dothan and Abiram . They just thought and said moses was not the only man anointed in the camp, the habit of , " I too I am anointed and hear God,"is a dangerous habit when handling grace.. Thinking you can minister more powerfully than them is a deception, read Numbers 16:1_5 and see what happened actually, read even the next chapter 17 and see what happened to them.
Lastly the anointing that you despise can not spice your life.. Notice Gehazi went home with leprosy as an evidence that he was with the anointed..
In 2 kings 4:1 is a very famous story that we know but I want us to look at it again
Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophet unto Elisha, saying, thy servant, my husband is dead and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen....
I want us to observe something here
a) This servant of the prophet feared the lord, fearing God was not an issue to him
b) He was a servant of Elisha a man who had double portion of Elijah's anointing..
c) He went into debt under Elisha's grace.. Serving a double grace but went into debt..
d) The same anointing that he served and went in to debt is the same anointing that took his wife out of that debt
What was the difference? He walked closely to the anointed until he got into debts. His debt was like an assurance that he associated closely with the same grace that took his wife out of debt. The wife was not familiar with the anointing since she didn't walk closely to it and hence she didn't become familiar with it and that is why it worked for her.. When you closely walk with the anointed don't get used to them and the anointing, it might bring you trouble..
Stay wise and graced. Thank you
