When starting a business, the excitement and hope makes us have the following assumptions:-1. We will make money immediately2. Customers will LOVE our products/service3. It’s going to be a smooth operation4. Clients will come to us because we have killed itBut!When you start the business, reality hits in as soon as you launcha. Operations become a mess, people mess you upb. 1 week passes and no purchasec. Compliance and government pay you a visit frequentlyd. Your competitor is 20% cheaper and takes all clientsSo, if you started a business on loan that must start to pay in the first month, and all these things happen, pressure build up easily and it gets ugly.My advice is, start small with what is available, and when there is proof of concept, learnt the market and the business, no you can use a loan to boost what is working!What’s your opinion?#business #entrepreneur #kenyanbusiness #marketing

The truth is that, we watch and listen to alot of things as we live. Some inspire us but if we are not sober, we may start a rat race of competing with one another trying to prove a point. Competing is subjective, it's not usually for personal growth but to make sure you are better than another. This will hurt us faster that it builds us. Being challenged is the right attitude. Getting inspiration and being motivated is important. However, when taking action, you choose what works for you and what is healthy. That is why getting challenged is objective.
