In response to attempts to blackmail the church over the actions of a few preachers, I, as a youth leader, express deep disappointment. Our churches are more than structures; they are vital components of our community, especially for our youth. I strongly condemn these actions, urging collective defense of our sacred spaces. Emphasizing the emotional connection we share, I highlight that churches are not just holy places but emotional anchors shaping our identities. Despite the challenges, I implore us to let our emotions drive us to stand firm, transforming adversity into an opportunity to strengthen our resilient, compassionate community.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you with hearts heavy and filled with compassion for all the men who are tirelessly striving to provide for their families, yet are facing the challenges of raising funds in a world filled with uncertainty. We lift them up to you in prayer, seeking your guidance, strength, and blessings.

Lord, we ask that you grant these men the wisdom and perseverance to navigate the financial difficulties they encounter. May you bless their endeavors with success, and may their hard work be rewarded abundantly.

Help us, as a community, to support and uplift these men, extending our helping hands, offering encouragement, and being sources of strength for them in their times of need.

We also pray for the families who depend on these men. Grant them the patience and understanding to weather the storms of financial hardship, and may their bonds be strengthened through these trials.

Lord, in your infinite grace, we trust that you will provide the means necessary for these men to fulfill their responsibilities as providers for their loved ones. Bless them with the resources, opportunities, and the support they require.

Remember the Lord Your God “Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers. And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. DISCOURAGEMENT
This is probably the most powerful tool Satan has! If Satan can discourage us from obeying God, he has won. Knowledge will not matter, faith will not count, and past victories in Christ are nothing if we become discourage, and quit before the race is over. Paul best-defined discouragement when he said , "all hope...was then taken away" ( Acts 27:20). Without hope, man has no reason for living!
There is a cure for this discouragement. This cure is the strength we can draw from the brethren ( Isa.35:3-10). Discourage people will try to pull to pull back from those who love them, including God! The key to being encouraged is spending time with in God's word, praying and being around those of like-precious faith. This is why the brethren are so important.They can help us through the discouraging times.They can "provoke one another to love and good works"( Acts10:23-25). Read Psalm 73 and learn David's answer to discouragement. Let us fight discouragement with help from God and our brethren.

TOPIC:- WISDOM
How often did the Nation of Israel get off track? It would be interesting to go through the Old Testament and count the cycles of faithful services, rebellion, trouble, calling out to God, a deliverer sent, restoration, etc. On one occasion Moses declared:- " For they are a nation lacking counsel and there is no understanding in them" ( Deut.32:28).
There are two good sources upon which we can rely to make good decisions and it will be good to consider them.
1. The source of all wisdom - our Creator.God's word is an infallible source of wisdom and guidance. In a conversation Eliphaz had with Job, he ask: " Do you hear the secret counsel of God, and limit wisdom to yourself"( Job.15:8). We know that Eliphaz and Job's freinds misunderstood Job's situation, but they did utter words of wisdom at times.
David wrote, "I will bless the Lord, who has counseled me, my mind instructs me in the night "(Psalm.16:7).
2. The counsel of good freinds. Solomon wrote: "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel"( Prov.15:12)."Listens to counsel and accept discipline, That you may be wise the rest of your days" (Prov.19:20). Apostle Paul wrote: "Do not be wise in your own estimation" (Rom.12:16).
We must be cautious about the counsel of our freinds, lest it be bad counsel.( Psalm.1:1-2).
