While we are still finishing some plans behind the scenes, we are getting a lot of inquires about how to get involved in this year’s hunt. Here are a few answers to help:

1. We will have sign up forms for volunteers, sponsors, and businesses who want to donate a prize. This will keep everything more organized for us. (Last year we communicated through Instagram, Facebook and email and it was too hard to keep track of everyone)

2. It will be impossible to try to contact everyone who wants to be notified. We’ve done our best to make lists but this hunt has gotten so big so fast, we won’t be able to hunt people down to participate. It is recommended that you turn on notifications so you don’t miss the posts!

3. There has been quite a few suggestions from local moms on how they can donate without having a business. They would just like to contribute. We are grateful for those who are in a position to help but it is not a requirement to participate. We have come up with an idea for those who’d like to chip in. It will go right to purchasing more ducks. The more ducks, the more people can play and enjoy!

4. The ultimate goal is 2000 ducks! Full transparency, we cannot fully expense that from our little family but we want to be able to give more people a chance at playing and finding a duck! Getting to this goal will be achieved through our sponsors and businesses who’d like to donate. Last year 1 in 5 ducks were a winner. We would love to keep this ratio or improve it which means 400 prizes 🤯 it’s a big goal but we think we can do it!

5. We will be sticking to Durham Region. We tried testing two regions for our February hunt but logistically it was too hard and complicated. That is exactly why we tried it for a smaller hunt so we knew!

While we tie up loose ends getting ready to launch, we are excited to see the hype around this event and how much it has grown in just one year! Thank you so much for all your support!

Thank you all for participating in our mini Valentine’s Duck Hunt! That was so much fun and I hope you all enjoyed!

Many prizes were claimed but some still haven’t been! The ducks may have been picked up but have not reached out to me yet. We will give those little ducks some extra time until tomorrow when we do the duck pond draw to give everyone a fair shot!

I can’t wait for our big hunt in June!! We’ve been discussing how many ducks we’ll be doing! Last year we did 600, what are your guesses for how many this June?! Let us know in the comments! 🐥💕

Prizes that are not claimed or found will go into a draw at the end of the hunt. If you find a duck that is not a winner your duck will automatically go into the pond for a chance to win.

If you are unable to find a duck or cannot make it out to the hunt, you still have a chance to participate online!

From the moment you walk in you are greeted as a Lord or Lady and feel like royalty. Be sure to arrive when the gates open to enjoy all the festivities prior to the tournament.

When you arrive and collect your tickets you are asked about allergies. They are super knowledgeable and carefully go over each menu item with you once you get to your seats to ease any concerns.

Included in your ticket is your dinner, dessert, 2 rounds of non alcoholic drinks, coffee or tea. Vegan, vegetarian or gluten free meals are available.

We enjoyed the Queens Royalty Upgrade which included VIP access through our own line, the best seats in the house, a family photo for each of us, a cheering banner.

Note: there is lots of parking available on site and it is $15 if you are attending the event.

As a busy mom and wife of an outside worker, we are always doing laundry. Add on my hair stylist capes and towels and our laundry machine never stops. It’s so important that our laundry comes out clean the first time but also that it’s free of parabans, phosphates and harsh chemicals. I tried laundry strips that are eco friendly with no plastic jug, hypoallergenic and biodegradable. The best part is there was no measuring or messy pouring involved. I just rip a strip and toss it in. Our clothes came out clean and fresh with just one strip! They are space saving and also kinda fun to rip and toss in! Have you had a chance to try them? 🧺
