Kung Fu Kitchen's goal is to provide affordable Chinese cuisine primarily targeted toward students - so that their tummy is full and their cravings are satisfied when they're tired from school work. 📝

Designed to be the most affordable & friendly food spot in town. We wanted to create a mascot that is easily recognized while being friendly and familiar. So we went with the all-time favorite, siomai! 🥟

To better reflect the delicious flavor of our dishes, we incorporated Asian elements into our logo so that any dedicated student can feel at home, whether in the canteen or dining hall. 🏠

Here's a motivational reminder for you this week. 🖋

No matter what you do, it's never too late to start doing it, start over, change careers, or make a different choice. The only time it will be only too late is when we're dead.

I always ensure that each choice I make is a choice I won't ever regret. Sometimes I would rest in between, and when it was time to go back, I always felt behind and that maybe I was already too late to catch up (when it's so far from the truth!).

But the fact that I still go back to where I am when it's so easier just to give up - is already astounding. So, stop being harsh to yourself, and let's practice being kinder each day.

Here's to listening to our body and mind first. 🥂

Understanding brand strategy can get really confusing... so I break it down into easy-to-digest information yet visually appealing! We don't want to learn a boring topic without visuals, right? After all, 90% of all info transmitted to the brain is VISUAL! 👀

Remember, when we read books as a kid, we tend to look for the illustration part rather than the text itself? It is because it's easier to remember & memorize them. This applies well to visual branding but remember, branding shouldn't just be all about visuals if you have long-term goals for your business. 🤫

You might have seen these numbers in people's profiles... but what are they & how can they help you connect with the right network?

Here's a quick summary:

1️⃣ 1ST DEGREE: People with whom you are directly connected already. You may have accepted their invitation or sent one they've accepted.

2️⃣ 2ND DEGREE: People directly connected to your 1st-degree connections.

3️⃣ 3RD DEGREE: People who are connected to your own 2nd-degree connections.

4️⃣ NO DEGREE: People who aren't in your network at all and can only be reached with an InMail. However, there is a way around this. If you’re in the same group as someone, but they’re not in your network, you can still message them directly and then connect.

LinkedIn is one of the most powerful networking tools out there & also fantastic for lead generation. However, you have to know what you're doing to make the most out of it. 💯

And we're no exception here, we were also disabled from using this and even our new account got a warning just for logging in into a reinstalled browser.

We've seen too MANY creatives get their account temporarily (and into becoming permanently) disabled or banned from using this app.

We hope their team would listen to users & especially, creatives or other businesses out there who work so much on their platform. Yes, it's recommended that you have backup platforms for marketing, but you should also remember only to use what you enjoy using! 💻

That's why we've made this post for any businesses out there. There are many common ways to avoid being disabled, but here are the ways you could do based on our experience. Knowing the 100s list of what to do & not to do takes away the fun of being a content creator.

Hello everyone! 👋🏻

How are you all doing?

This week has been a busy yet productive one. I was able to do many things at once. My eyeglasses broke, though (yes, I have poor eyesight, ugh 😩) & it felt like I was handicapped throughout the week; it was stressing me out! 💢

Still, it wasn't an excuse, so I still made my to-do lists for my business. Finally, I have new eyeglasses after five days of waiting! 🤓

For this week, I was able to:
✅ Attend accountability call with my biz friends
✅ Study & implement strategies
✅ Attend business webinars
✅ Create content for socials
✅ Workout & have a healthy diet
✅ Optimized my profiles
✅ Cheerlead
✅ Setup my biz tools
✅ Setup my Google Calendar
✅ Show-up everyday

Now, it's time to rest! (although I'm still working... but I will rest now!)

Forget setting unrealistic goals for yourself. What you should be focused on is what you’re going to do differently tomorrow - and every night after that - to make yourself better tomorrow than you were yesterday.

You can do this by focusing on the things you like to do. It doesn’t matter whether it’s waking up in the morning and making a smoothie, getting in some work for the day, reading a book in the evening, or relaxing with a slice of pizza.

What matters is that they will help you to create something wonderful in your life… something that keeps you going & feel alive.

Develop small habits of improving yourself every day without GUILT & PRESSURE. No matter what it is you are working on, just keep pushing yourself forward every day, you have no idea how impactful small habits are. 💚

Long overdue but I got accepted as a scholar for this great program by the herself, Sophia Amoruso! 😭🧡 Currently on the flight now. ✈️

Saying I'm more than HAPPY is such an understatement! I was just full of tears of joy when I received my scholarship acceptance in the e-mail (I had to re-read it to believe what I was seeing!), & I couldn't be grateful enough! Back then I used to say to myself that someday, I'll enroll in this course & have the Flight Manual myself but look at it now!

Look forward to the studio's growth in the future! I'm also excited for my Flight Manual to fill up soon. 🙈💌
