Courtesy of Solidarity Centre for Peace & Justice Siaya, I had an engagement with widows at Nyadhi village (Central Alego) to educate and enlighten them about their rights. Most of them face challenges such as discrimination, disinheritance, land grabbing, child labour etc. As community we have to acknowledge the Supremacy of the law and that no one is above the law, if found culpable then the law shall take its course. We further urge other existing CSOs responsible for championing for this marginalized group to actualize the implementations of policies for us to have a habitable environment for all.
