There was a time when school plays and songs evoked a strong sense of patriotism unlike the kind being propagated by Cleophas Malalah. As much as there is freedom of expression, that freedom should not be used to stir discontent against the Government. We grew up knowing our President was the most powerful, the best and some even knew he was President of the whole world. That may seem naive but it helped to entrench a sense of being a Kenyan. It's heartbreaking to see Malala using innocent children to push political and divisive agendas through scripts. Children deserve education, not manipulation!
