Sad News

After 14 days of searching it's sad to report that the missing Stallon Kipletting Bett, a Form one student at Ndururumo High School who disappeared from school on the eve of 24th Wednesday, May, 2023 was yesterday found lifeless at a dam in Nyahururu Sport's Club.

The Late Stallon is from Kaptito, Marmanet Ward, Laikipia West Constituency.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this search mission and for your contributions. May God Bless You Abundantly.

Today,His Excellence The Governor Joshua Irungu Joined Kenyans and residents of Laikipia North at Ilpolei Secondary school ground in celebrating the 60th Madaraka day.
The Theme was the Development through cooperatives, MSMEs, Trade, and Revenue collection

Today, Laikipia Governor ,H.E Joshua Irungu hosted H.E Pastor Dorcas Rigathi at the Nanyuki Green Stadium where by she overseed and graced the governor's cup tournament finals 2023

Segera FC from Segera Ward were crowned champions of The Laikipia Governor's Cup 2023 And received prize of Ksh 500,000 elsewhere Green Commandos from Ngobit Ward were the 2nd runner up took prize of Ksh 300,000.

On the other hand Falling Water Barcelona FC Clinched The Women's first place and were rewarded prize of Ksh 200,000 And Nanyuki Queens Starlets took the 2nd place under the women category where they were awarded prize of Ksh 150,000.
All champions in ward level received prize of Ksh100,000

The aim of governor's tournament is to scout, narture ,develop local talents,engage youths away from drugs and invest on the youths.

In attendance were my Deputy Governor Reuben Kamuri, Woman Rep Jane Kagiri, County secretary Koinange Wahome, Chief of staff John Wambugu, DCC Patrick Muli and County Top Security officials, County executive committee members, Members of the County Assembly, Chief officers, Directors, and other Government officials.
