Woolf people🇸🇳🇬🇲🇲🇷.

The Woolf are tall and dark ethnic group found in three west African countries of, Gamabia, Mauritania and Senegal where they constitutes majority of the country population accounted to be more than 40 percent of Senegalese population.

No Doubts, the Woolf people are predominantly Suni Muslims by faith and they are among the first people who received and accepted Islam as their faith since the early appearance of Islam with the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

The origin of Woolf people dated back to Ancient Egypt or Ancient Kush kingdom (Nubian kingdom) like other Nile valley African peoples such as Jieng🇸🇸 (Dinka) ,Nuer🇸🇸,Massai🇰🇪 etc.

Today the language spoken by Woolf people is categorized under Congo-Niger languages

Shiek Anta Diop , the only African egyptologist who is a Woolf man from senegal clearly documented all evidences of Woolf people , Dinka and Nuer and other African peoples as the ancient natives of Ancient Egypt

After the fall of kushdom (Nubia kingdom) ,the inhabitants of Nubia kushdom dispersed into different parts of African continent and formed multiple tribes including Woolf tribe.

Due to their Ancient shared Ethnicity with Jieng(Dinka) and Naath(Nuer) people of South Sudan, it's impossible to distinguish them from Dinka and Nuer of South Sudan.

Some Jeing (Dinka) oral stories narrated that Woolf people are descendants of Dinka man called Wol Ajang who went to west Africa after the fall of kush kushdom centuries ago while some claims Woolf of being descendants of great Dinka spiritual leader called Lual-Ahony who left to western part of Africa centuries back. The Woolf people links to Dinka and Nuer is documented in a Dinka History written by a famous Dinka Historican Lewis Anei Madut- kuendit and Woolf historian Shiek Anta Diop

South Sudanese Singer Achuei Receives 16 Bulls and 6 Plots of Land from the Kuac Community

South Sudanese female singer Achuei Deng Ajiing has been showered with generosity from the Kuac community, receiving 16 bulls and six plots of land as a token of their appreciation for her music. The gifts were pledged during the launch of her song "Kuac Ayok" in Freedom Hall in Juba several months ago.

"Dear great people of Kuac Ayok, I am honored to be here this afternoon with you as I receive all the pledges you made during the honoring ceremony you accorded to me in Juba a few months ago," Achuei posted on social media. "This is a testament to the power of music to unite people and to the strength of the Kuac community."

The song "Kuac Ayok," which translates to "Kuac is Beautiful," is a tribute to the Kuac community and its rich culture.

The performance of Achuei Deng at the launch event captivated the audience, and the community decided to show their appreciation with a generous gift.

Official Statement on Cargo Plane Incident in Jonglei State

Date: 8/08/2024.

Location: Jonglei State, Uror County, Pieri (Kueldhol) Payam

We wish to inform the public about an incident involving a cargo plane that occurred during landing at the designated airstrip in Pieri Payam. The aircraft veered off the airstrip during its approach and subsequently crashed into a nearby residential area.

Fortunately, there were no casualties reported. The pilots have been safely evacuated and are currently receiving medical treatment for minor injuries and trauma related to the incident. The aircraft caught fire after the crash, but the residents of the nearby home were unharmed.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the local community for their swift response and support during this incident. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash to prevent future occurrences.

Death Announcement

Dear All,

It is with the deepest sorrow and heavy heart that the family of Kuol Ayiik Jok of Pabot, Nyarweng clan is informing all relatives, in-laws, friends, neighbours and entire Duk Community of the untimely passing of our beloved son, brother, father, uncle and former Nyarweng community Youth leader in Juba, Mr. Akech (Aphien) Kuol Ayiik who died on Monday, July 15th 2024, after battling with a short illness and was flown to Nairobi for treatment.

Mourners are gathering at Johnson Aleer Kuol's compound located about 300 metres off Modern Care Clinic highway, make a turn to the right immediately you cross a small stream. The compound is after three plots directly opposite the stream.

The burial arrangements will be communicated soon.

May the precious soul of our beloved brother Akech Kuol Ayiik rest in eternal peace.
