TWO DISTINCT LEADERSHIP STYLES

Leadership styles exhibited by Mother Hen and Mother Duck.

The Mother hen lead from the back, while the Duck leads from the front.

The fact that the mother hen stays behind the chicks while the duck goes ahead of them highlights two different leadership styles: leading from behind and leading from the front.

PERSONAL COMMENTARY
My President William Ruto is exactly where Uhuru Kenyatta was between 2018-2022 , President Kenyatta then did two things,he failed to listen to his political base, his people from his political base including senior government officials told off everyone who told them there is a problem, the President proceeded and left the people behind and when he realised it ,it was too late he could only recover 15% of his political base.. however President Kenyatta had one perfect thing his communication team ,they kept on telling his achievements documenting his projects..

President Ruto is walking the same path,he is quickly leaving behind the people of Central Kenya,and just like in Uhuru Kenyatta's government there's a cabinet secretary and other government officials in this administration who appears to be making the situation worse, the seems to be fighting the person the people are listening to, they are not politically correct,and they probably know it,they are hurting the President everytime they speak, then there are a few Young MPs from that region who are obsessed with the idea of political succession,they are in 2032 ,so instead of helping the President document his projects,they antagonize the region,they speak in so much pride , they have zero empathy,they a don't care attitude,

Finally unlike Uhuru Kenyatta, President William Ruto's communication team both online hired either directly or otherwise for that very purpose are probably without doubt the worst,I mean all they do post is funny politics, in fact they have also taken sides on political formations,they also speak in so much pride,they don't document anything this administration does, they have done that since this administration came to office,as such they have successfully turned a popular President to the most Unpopular President in a record period of two years..

What is difficult though for my President now is unlike Uhuru Kenyatta who was popular outside his political base, President Ruto is not very popular anywhere and he is quickly losing one of his political base,and not because of anything because of political perspective,..the President needs to wake up to this political reality before it's too late, he is moving and he is leaving the people behind. Fact is President William Ruto is not Present Uhuru Kenyatta. Probably my President can still turn around things but he would require a serious political surgery on his closest allies, this President worked so hard to be elected,but his closest team,his communication team,has worked so hard to make him lose elections this 2027. President William Ruto needs to go back to candidate William Ruto in speed ...

Gen Z led, Kenya Won! Honestly this was History that needed to be made in our country for the first time. Young people were unapologetic about our quest. Our voices were heard.

It's so sad that there were abductions and even worse that People lost their lives. They were young Kenyans and didn't deserve to die that way. We hope that moving forward we shall not ever be silenced.

This is indeed the future. Viva Kenya! 🇰🇪

WORKPLACE RULES FOR HAPPY LIFE

1. *Trust no one* but respect everyone.

2. What happens in office, remain in office.
*Never take office gossips* to home and vice versa.

3. *Enter office on time, leave on time*. Your desktop is not helping to improve your health.

4. *Never make Relationships* in the work place. It will always backfire.

5. *Expect nothing*. If somebody helps, feel thankful. If not, you will learn to know things on your own.

NABONGO MAKOKHA MUMIA

He was the son of Nabongo Shiundu, he was born after his mother ( Queen Wamanya) had several miscarriages. According to the Wanga culture, a child born under such circumstances was to be thrown by the roadside and someone was to pick him up. This was done so as to chase away the spirits of death. Such a child was named Makokha. He was named Mumia because it is an iteso woman that picked him on the roadside. In the old days, luhyas called the iteso Bamia. Mumia was born in 1849.

He was a skinny boy who looked weak. Later he did the unthinkable by first killing a lion and later a leopard. He took over the leadership of the Wanga Kingdom in 1888.

His reign witnessed great expansion of the Wanga Kingdom and he also cemented an alliance with the Maasai and the British.

Before his death, Nabongo Shiundu had prophecised about the coming of the white men and advised the Wanga people not to resist them. This informed Nabongo Mumia's choice of collaboration rather than resisting the British.

He also chose collaboration so as to wage war effectively against some sections of the Nandi, the Bukusu and Luos of Kager clan who threatened the integrity of his kingdom. Through collaborating, he got guns and a contingent of Baganda, Nubian and maasai warriors through which he conquered his enemies.

He died in 1949 and was burried in Mumias. He was given a state funeral by the colonial regime. Later, his remains were transferred to Eshiembekho in Matungu constituency, Kakamega county. The remains are hosted at the Nabongo Cultural centre.

His son Nabongo Sh*tawa succeeded him and ruled until his death in 1974. The current king of the Wanga Kingdom is Nabongo Peter Mumia Sh*tawa, the grandson of Nabongo Mumia.
