✈️ India’s Most Tragic Plane Crash—and the Woman Who Survived by Running 10 Minutes Late

On Thursday, June 12, Air India Flight 171 was scheduled to depart from Ahmedabad to London. There were 242 people on board.

Just 30 seconds after takeoff, the plane crashed into a residential neighborhood. Almost everyone on board lost their lives.

👩‍🦰 Bhumi Chauhan, a 28-year-old student from the UK, was supposed to be on that flight—seat 36G. But she missed boarding… by just 10 minutes.

Why? Traffic jams in the city.

“I was frustrated. Angry. I cried and begged the airline staff to let me on, but they refused,” she recalls.

Heartbroken, she sat down in a nearby café—ordered tea, called her travel agent to complain. And then she got the news:
The very plane she missed had crashed.

😳 Bhumi survived… because of a traffic jam.

Today she says:

“It’s a miracle. I just wasn’t meant to be on that plane.”

And this story reminds me of something important:

Sometimes…
– When you’re late…
– When your plans fall apart…
– When you’re so close to your goal but are stopped at the last moment…

It’s not a punishment.
It’s protection.
Invisible, but precise—like clockwork.

📌 Save this post.
The next time things don’t go your way, and you’re upset or angry, remember: maybe you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Maybe, just maybe, things are working out for the best—even if it doesn’t look that way right now.

Most Men Are Not Husbands—They’re Just Male Spouses
Let’s talk like men.
You think you’re a husband because you paid bride price?
Because you signed a certificate?
Because you show up to bed every night?
You’re not a husband.
You’re a male spouse.
There’s a difference.
---
1. A Husband Is Already Dead
Dead to pettiness.
Dead to impulse.
Dead to “I must be right.”
A real husband doesn’t react to every emotion his wife throws.
He absorbs chaos—and gives back structure.
He doesn’t need validation to lead.
He is the foundation.
And foundations don’t shake.
If you’re always defending yourself…
Always trying to win arguments…
Always waiting for her to “earn” your love?
You’re not dead yet.
And you’re not ready.
---
2. She’s Not Submitting Because You’re a Storm
Let’s be honest:
No woman should submit to confusion.
To emotional whiplash.
To a man with no mission, no order, no backbone.
She can’t follow you if you don’t know where you’re going.
You want submission?
Get your life in order.
Heal your childhood wounds.
Fix your finances.
Get a mentor if you missed a father.
Because masculinity without mastery is just noise.
And no queen submits to chaos.
---
3. We Expect Women to Grow—But Men Stay Boys
We demand:
– Girls become ladies
– Ladies become wives
– Wives become mothers
But men?
We skip the journey.
We marry boys to women—and call it love.
Then act shocked when the woman is burnt out from cleaning up after a grown child.
She’s not your mother.
She’s your wife.
Act like it.
---
4. Your Wife Is Not Your Equal—She’s Your First Daughter
Not in worth.
In responsibility.
You’re the head.
The gardener.
The guide.
The one who holds the weight.
She will frustrate you.
She will test you.
She will cry without telling you why.
But if you’re easily provoked, unstable, and entitled to obedience?
You don’t need a wife.
You need therapy—or mentorship.
Because nurturing a woman takes patience.
And if you’re not man enough to hold space,
You’ll never lead from strength.
---
5. You Want Her to Do Everything—While You Do Nothing
You both work.
You both earn.
But she:
– Cooks
– Bathes the kids
– Runs the errands
– Manages the house
And still has to deal with your entitlement?
That’s not leadership.
That’s laziness.
Structure isn’t just authority—it’s service.
So either balance the load or shut up about how “modern women are not submissive.”
You’ve turned her into a mule.
Then call her “disrespectful” for breaking down.
---
6. Stop Building a Kingdom on Lies
You cheat “because men are like that.”
You lie “to protect her.”
You flirt online “for ego.”
You think your woman is immune to temptation?
She sees the 6-packs.
The DMs.
The options.
She stays because she’s loyal to the home—not to your foolishness.
Don’t mistake her silence for stupidity.
Don’t weaponize her patience against her.
And stop playing the victim in a game you’re rigging.
---
Final Word: You’re Not a Husband Until You’re a Builder
A builder of peace.
A builder of vision.
A builder of legacy.
It’s not her job to make you a man.
It’s not her job to fix your past.
It’s not her job to carry the full weight of your brokenness.
Lead like a husband.
Love like a father.
Sacrifice like a savior.
Because until you die to boyhood?
You’re just a man who married.
Not a man who became. Most Men Are Not Husbands—They’re Just Male Spouses

This is Kibera. Nairobi’s oldest, most iconic slum, where the heart beats louder than the statistics, and the soul survives every storm.

It started as a colonial gift, land set aside for Nubian soldiers returning from the King’s African Rifles. What was once a settlement of warriors has become a city within a city. Unplanned, unregulated, and undeniably alive.

Kibera isn’t one slum, it’s many villages stitched together by rusted iron sheets, muddy paths, and a relentless spirit. Laini Saba, Gatwekera, Makina, Kianda, Soweto, Silanga... each name carries its own rhythm, its own rules, and its own version of reality.

The houses? Tin-roofed, wall-to-wall, door-to-drain. Privacy isn’t expected, it’s negotiated. Kids play beside open drains, women cook beside rail lines, and life doesn’t pause, not even when the rain turns paths into rivers.

Here, the air smells like charcoal, sweat, boiled maize, and sometimes, dreams on fire. Music is always playing — gospel in the morning, reggae in the afternoon, and gengetone screaming into the night. If the DJ doesn’t stop, the party doesn’t stop.

Electricity? Mostly borrowed. Water? Sold in jerrycans. Toilets? If you know, you know. Flying toilets are still a thing. But don’t be fooled, innovation thrives here. Wi-Fi kiosks pop up beside mabati kiosks, and TikTok dances are filmed just steps from laundry lines.

The gossip is real, the hustle is raw. Everyone’s selling something: second-hand clothes, roasted maize, bootleg movies, or “miracle” hair oils. Even a boda guy knows who dumped who, who stole what, and where you got your fake sneakers.

Schools? Plenty. Churches? Uncountable. Football? Religion. You’ll find future Harambee Stars training barefoot on dusty fields, and future leaders reading by candlelight.

And the people? Resilient. Artists. Entrepreneurs. Activists. Survivors. Some rise from Kibera to the world stage. Others just try to make it to the next day.

Kibera isn’t perfect. It’s overcrowded, overlooked, an

This building is already leaning or tilting badly rather, and it's still under construction.
That kind of tilt doesn’t happen by mistake. It’s most likely a case of foundation failure due to poor soil testing, bad structural design, or use of substandard materials.

Yet, the work is still going on like nothing is wrong. No safety measures. No proper response. Just scaffolding trying to hold up a building that should’ve been stopped.

My people, building right is not luxury , it’s necessity.
Let’s take soil tests seriously. Let’s work with professionals. Let’s stop cutting corners.

This is exactly what happens when we ignore the basics in construction.

The Price of the Peak. ⚒️

Mount Everest.🏔
To some, it's the ultimate challenge
To others, a silent graveyard cloaked in snow and silence
Since the early 1900s, over 330 lives have been lost chasing the summit of the world's tallest mountain. And the number keeps rising.

Some fell through cracks in the ice.
Some were buried in avalanches.
Others simply lay down, overcome by cold, altitude, or exhaustion--never to rise again.

Above 8,000 meters, in what climbers call the Death Zone, the air thins to the edge of survivability.
Every step becomes a battle.
Every breath, a decision.

In this realm of ghosts and glory, many who perish are never brought home. Their bodies remain frozen in time-some visible, some hidden-markers on a path lined with ambition, sacrifice, and silence.

And still, they come.
Hundreds each year.
Drawn not just by the view, but by the need to touch the sky.

Because Everest doesn't just test your strength.
It asks you how much you're willing to lose. 🏔
