Three years ago, Mazingira Yetu Organisation embarked on Ngong River Restoration in Kibera.
In the course of the restoration exercise we met Larry Dwayne a talented recording and performing artist and a passionate environmentalist with whom we supported to record a song titled Mazingira yetu.
The song was aimed at educating the public on the dangers of indiscriminate waste disposal into the River and environment at large.
Over the years Larry has won a regional award courtesy of ICPAC and a global award courtesy of World Fish Migration Day
Currently Larry is performing in #COP28UAE
