Join us on 21/10/2023 at 8:00am to 4:30pm at AUSTIN'S ground Kiboro Primary, as we come together to acknowledge the incredible contributions of our fellow community members. 🏆

Mathare Community Champions (MASHUJAA) Awards.

The Community Champions (Mashujaa) Awards Project is an initiative that aims to recognize and honour individuals, groups, or organizations that have made significant contributions to their communities. The Mathare Champions (Mashujaa) awards are designed to honour those who have worked tirelessly to improve the neighbourhoods, promote social inclusion, the unsung heroes who selflessly give their time, resources, and expertise to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

The community Champions awards is organized by coalition of Community organizations and NGOs based in Mathare / working in Mathare who have come together to recognize people who have been outstanding on supporting Community work.

The project typically involves a nomination process, where community members will put forward individuals or groups who they believe deserve recognition for their outstanding efforts.
Members of the community are encouraged to nominate individuals or groups that they believe deserve recognition for their outstanding efforts. Nominations will be submitted online or through a physical form, and usually require a detailed explanation of the nominee's community service activities and impact.
