Today is my birthday. I turn 42 years old. When I finished college and was unable to get my dream of being on TV, I swallowed my pride and walked away with pain in my heart. But I found happiness in other things; I found solace in technology and writing and communication. And I enjoyed it.

But when I hit 40, I had a terrible midlife crisis; I felt so empty, I felt suddenly so unhappy, unfulfilled. Gosh! I talked with my wife about it. I talked with friends about it.

I was so pregnant with something. I wanted to turn back the hands of time.

But I could not. I felt hollow.

And then I had a eureka moment: That dream of being on TV. Or explained properly, that dream of telling stories, hosting discussions, meeting diverse people. Speaking with women. Chatting with men.

Dialogues With Jagero

It was born. I have felt like a kid again.

I have experienced so much love.

I sometimes say this: Jagero, you should started this long time ago. But I tell myself this: You know your story, mate. If you doubt it, then turn back the hands of time.

Go back to the village. Picture yourself in that family.

And I tell myself this: many of my age mates might be miles ahead of me. That is fine. This is my marathon; it is my race.

I will run it.
