LEAF PEOPLE:
These are people who come into your life just for a season. You can't depend on them, because they are weak and self-centred. They only come to take what they want, but if the wind comes they will leave.
You need to be careful of these people, because they love you when things are okay, but when the wind comes they will leave you.

BRANCH PEOPLE:
They are strong, but you need to be careful with them too. They break away when life becomes tough and they can't handle too much weight. They may stay with you in some seasons, but they will go when it becomes harder.

ROOT PEOPLE:
These people are very important because they don't do things to be seen. They are supportive even if you go through a difficult time, they will water you. They are not moved by your position, they just love you like that. Not everyone you meet or you see as a friend, will stay with you. Only the root type of people will stay no matter what.

While some were blessed with exemplary role models to emulate, our childhoods were painted with cautionary tales – living embodiments of the paths we knew we must never tread.

Instead of beacons of inspiration, we were surrounded by shadows – people and situations that served as stark reminders of the pain and dysfunction we yearned to escape. Our formative years were a masterclass in what not to become, in the traps and cycles we were determined to break free from.

But in that seeming disadvantage, in that absence of positive influences, a profound resilience was forged. For we quickly learned that the hand we were dealt did not have to define our destiny. We realised that we possessed an extraordinary power – the ability to reshuffle the deck, to craft a new narrative that defied the limitations imposed upon us.
With each negative example, each dysfunctional pattern we witnessed, our resolve to create a different reality for ourselves grew stronger. We became the architects of our own becoming, carefully selecting the traits and values we wished to embody, while leaving behind the toxic legacies that once threatened to consume us.

And so, while others may have had a head start, guided by the wisdom and virtues of their role models, we carved our own paths – paths forged in the fires of our determination, our self-awareness, and our unwavering commitment to breaking the cycles that had kept generations before us bound.
