May her soul RIP: Curtains fall on Sr. Ida Lagonegro, an Italian nun who made Pope Francis' vestments during his visit to Kenya in Nov. 2015.

When the Vatican confirmed that the Holy Father would visit Kenya, women from the Dolly Craft Center in Nairobi asked to celebrate the pope with three handmade vestments.

The Vatican approved the request, and the women began to sew.

"They are our gift to him," Lagonegro of the Dimesse Sisters in Nairobi and the leader of Dolly Craft told Global Sisters Report at the time. "We also made him a rosary with beautiful beads."
