This picture reminds me of some silly childhood memories😂😂😂😂

It reminds me of the day I had a fight with this animal.I had been warned by my grandma severally lakini Mimi ni nani? I let my guard down...the last thing I remember is him making eye contact with me then taking a few steps behind and then running towards me...😱 🫢 😭😭

Wuehh my little self imagined the worst was about to happen....and my heart raced as I tried to run as fast as I could.Luckily,( then I didn't know I was lucky) or by God's mercy I fell flat on my stomach.

The animal came running and jumped across my body ...then started the run and jump from the opposite side .It kept repeating that and taking a moment to sniff my feet and held me hostage for a while before someone heard my desperate cries for help.

The picture also reminds me of that day when the car( read the poles in which the sheep's head is held) worked on one of the passengers properly and led them straight to hospital.Dont know if there was a nail...Wololo!

Mwalimu wa maths🔥🔥

One day I found myself on the other side of current news when I was asked on a live Tv Interview, ' uliza mwalimu wa maths hapa ni wapi?' Hiyo joke ilikuwa imenipita mbaya mbovu...and I wondered what my maths teacher had to do with this....

Truth is....

I will always remember my maths teachers with fondness.I especially remember Mr Njuguna of Geoff academy .He had such a good handwriting and was always looking so sharp...One day he had lined us up and was marking our homework and caning us according to the number of wrongs.This was so new to me and I was shaking as a chameleon on a frail twig. 🥹 🥲 . I kept going back to the back of the line because I was afraid of being caned. I ended up being the last one and as I gave my homework to mwalimu wa maths, and tears falling down my cheeks.I was in shock when He marked my homework and congratulated me 🎉 wuehhh.I had escaped viboko za mwalimu wa maths...

From there on mwalimu wa Maths was my friend.One day pupils broke his ruler and he told me to go and rest and do my things as he cased with the rest of the class on who broke his ruler.

Another day I had not finished my homework and he looked at my book, took my hand to cane me and changed his mind ...he forgave me.

My leaving certificate landed on Mr Njuguna and he poured all his good adjectives on it... hardworking,faithful, patient, disciplined ..and the list goes on. 🥹
What did I do to deserve such favour with my maths teacher!

Time has failed me to share about my other many maths teachers....let me stop at that for now ...

Now am an accountant, thank you Mwalimu wa maths for teaching me maths and for favouring me while at it. I have no reason to hate maths at all.❤️

GOD WILL DO IT AGAIN!

Have you ever hoped with such vigor and expectation that when your miracle arrived all you wanted is to hold on to it?

I imagine the waiting that God had exercised Abraham unto ,after he made the promise to him .25 years of rigorous excercise unto waiting on God!
Abraham was already 75 years old when God promised him the son...he may have thought,surely it won't delay.But he had a long way to go...25 more years!
At first,he had appointed Eliezar as his heir, but when God promised a son,he ended up birthing Ishmael with Hagar. God knew what He meant and He came again to remind Abraham of His promise ....wuehh!
Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, “Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?”
Who wouldn't laugh!! 25 years later God is telling Abraham to believe Him! He meant exactly what He said.
Now imagine God coming to tell Abraham to go and sacrifice Isaac to Him....No wonder he didn't even want to tell Sarah.He didn't even want his servants to know....He just went up with Isaac in obedience....this time he had faith that God would raise Isaac up ...so he gave him up. How audacious! God knew how much Abraham wanted an heir and he asked him of his only heir

And you know what? God did it again ..God provided a lamb! Abraham received his son from the dead! HE REALLY DID IT AGAIN ...And He will do it again!

Saturday recipe 😃

HOW TO MAKE BOILED WATER.

RECIPES :
Lighter or matches
Kettle or pot
Gas or stove or coal pot
Water from tap or river.

PROCEDURE :
Rinse your pot or kettle
Open tap and run water into the kettle or pot and cover it.
Light your gas or stove or coal pot.
Put the kettle or pot on fire to boil and allow it boil for few minutes (10-15mins) until you hear (Shikushukushukushuku).
Then put off the fire.

Your BOILED WATER IS READY.

Can be used for Tea/ugali/to wash etc.

You can drink it also if you have cough or cold.

INSTRUCTION - Serve hot.

How I Escaped Mob Justice
So I was just crossing the road pale Tom Mboya Street.I was carrying a grey bucket bag,which I often times found I had not zipped ,though well tucked under my arm.
So after crossing the road and squeezing my way through very busy Nairobians, I briefly checked my bag and walked on towards Odeon
Weh!That is when I saw a tall guy that looked like a conductor of Eastleigh buses shouting and pointing to me "Mwizi!"
I stood ,anger filling my whole being.I pointed him back and asked him if he knew what he was saying.Weh!!! .I must have finished with " Shindwe "hehee!
I started walking and he shouted again..
"Mwizi!" I looked at him with those eyes of "who are you playing with?"
"Si ni we we unapora bags za watu?
Weh!!
Kahasira kakapanda tena!Pointing at him again
" (I spoke some angry words)"
By now people were starting to crane their heads, Straring ....trying to decide whether to join in.
Too scared I did not even have time to pray or cry
I continued to point at him ,looking at him eye to eye
Silencing every accusation silently,now unable to say much,but my eyes torching on him like a magnifying glass on a target paper
Seeing my courage,he quietly walked away..
I walked away ,shaking ,angrily muttering to myself .Later,I thanked God for rescuing me.
Truly,its not by might not by power but by His Spirit
He rescued me,like David with a small stone,with a pointing finger.
