Chepwogen, The Renowned Radio Caller, Now a Graduate:

Faith Chepwogen, hailing from Chebango village in Kipsonoi Ward, Sotik Subcounty, was a well-known voice on Kalenjin radio, particularly during the KID's program on Kass FM in 2005 and 2006. Do you still remember her?

Back in early 2005, Faith was a shining star and a role model in the Kalenjin community. She was highly praised, and I recall how children from our neighborhood were often encouraged to work hard and be like Chepwogen.

During the Saturday children’s program, she would famously introduce herself: “Iyamunee ooh chorwenyuun Koriryo, anee non Chepwogen en Chebango lakwetab Kalenjin, ak osomonen sukulitab Mosob Academy en Chebole, amoche amwa shairi, sere nyawuwowoo chorwenyun." At the time, she was the youngest fan of Kass Radio, captivating listeners with her youthful yet mature voice.

How time flies! I can still vividly recall her soft voice, as if it were just yesterday. Chepwogen spoke with such confidence and maturity for her age, which endeared her to both the presenters and listeners alike. While countless calls flood radio stations daily, hers always stood out, contributing significantly to discussions both local and national.

Today, Chepwogen has achieved new heights, graduating with a Diploma in Communication and Mass Media. What a journey!
