*Political Betrayals of the Kikuyu People.*
Before independence, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga was the favourite to be the first president of the New Republic of Kenya . Instead of being greedy , he decided to ask for the unthinkable from the Colonialists the unconditional release of detainee Mzee Kenyatta whom he believed was the right person to lead the nation . Two years latter, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga was seriously betrayed by Kenyatta administration. He was forced to be on a house arrest most of his life . What followed were bizarre killings in the nation.

In his sunset days of early 1990s with the imminent introduction of multiparty democracy in Kenya, the same Kikuyus through Paul Muite ,Kenneth Matiba and Charles Rubia approached Jaramogi Odinga for a merger that they claimed that would be an apologetic statement for their betrayal during the Kenyattta administration, the group unanimously agreed to back Jaramogi as the sole presidential candidate for the first Multiparty elections In 1992 . The spirits were high , Jaramogi was ridding and was sure of victory. In the next year , most of the opposition players were arrested with Kenneth Matiba falling sick and being admitted in a London Hospital. At the hospital , a few Kikuyu power players visited him and convinced him to change his mind and go for the presidency in that election . Matiba greedily lead the 2nd betrayal and went as a presidential candidate ,the result was sealed . President Moi was elected as the president . Jaramogi count bear the pain anymore , coupled with old age. Mzee departed us a year latter.
In 2002 , against all odds ,here. Comes Baba and the *Kibaki Tosha* declzration with Gidi Gidi Maji Maji spicing it up with the mighty *Unbuogable*hit song . Baba rallied the whole nation behind Mwai Kibaki , a candidate from the Kikuyu Land . Even when the then government attempted his life , Raila stood strong , smuggled Kibaki out of the country when in critically injured for treatment abroad . Baba continued to campaign for Kibaki throughout in 2002 , he made sure no one felt the absence of their candidate. This resulted in a resounding victory for the National Rainbow Coalition candidate . However a few months later, the likes of Kiraitu Murungi , Martha Karua , Muiraria and all the Mt Kenya handlers around Kobaki blocked Baba . That was a third betrayal .
Whatever happened in 2007 is still fresh and painful then comes the 2022 election . This election reminds me of an incident in 2013 when a Runnig mate one Jeremiah Kioni could not even cast his vote for One Musalia Mudavadi . The shame was when Mudavadi hot zero votes in the same poling center that his loyal and honest running mate cast his vote. The same Jeremia Kioni was one of the lead supporters of Raila in 2022 and we all know ow how Baba fared on in Central Kenya. Now he's fronting Matiang'i. We already know know the results.
Gachagua courting Raila for a plastic support in 2027 is like trying to dangle a live fish as a baite. Baba should be very careful. There is no genuine support that can come from the central people. They're never honest

MY THOUGHTS ON THE KELLY MADADA INTERVIEW

AFC Leopards’ current midfield sensation, Kelly Madada, recently gave what appeared to be a ‘vox pop’ style post-match interview, which has since gone viral. (I’m unsure of the exact timing of the recording.)

During the interview, he was asked which players he would like to one day play alongside. He mentioned Alphonse Omija, Austin Odhiambo, and a third player, presumably the want-away Rooney Onyango — all of whom are from AFC Leopards’ arch-rivals, Gor Mahia FC.

However, the key moment came towards the end when the journalist asked Kelly if he would ever consider playing for Gor Mahia.

Caught off guard, Kelly gave a somewhat non-committal response, saying something like, “When the right time comes, it could happen.”

This remark sparked outrage among some AFC Leopards fans, who didn’t take kindly to his answer. The discussion raged for much of the day, with some media colleagues siding with the club, even suggesting it was unethical for the interviewer to approach the player without prior consent from the club.

While there’s a kernel of truth in the ethics debate, I don’t think the situation boils down to a question of ethics. It’s more about administrative procedure, which, depending on the context, may or may not have been followed. But I don’t believe this constitutes ethical misconduct.

Had the player been coerced into giving the interview, or if his comments were edited or misrepresented, then we’d be discussing ethics. But as it stands, this seems more like a lapse in judgment on the player’s part.

If the rule you’re referring to is indeed in his contract, and he still agreed to the interview, that’s a misstep on his part, not the reporter’s.

Journalists are in the business of gathering and disseminating news, and when you’re a rising star like Kelly Madada, it’s unlikely you’d refuse an interview if granted.

Players should not be discouraged from engaging with the media to cover up for the lack of proper media training. This is something the Players Association and, or their respective clubs’ media teams should be addressing to better sensitize players.

Ultimately, I don’t see this as a ‘treasonous’ mistake deserving of all the online backlash. To me, it’s simply a case of a young player lacking media literacy, like someone who doesn’t yet fully grasp what to say, when, and why.

My argument is premised on the fact that the biggest revenue earner for football worldwide is the sale of media rights, an invaluable asset which stem from what is referred to as the ‘player’s image rights’.

It is, therefore, a no-brainer that, there’s an undeniable symbiotic relationship between sports and the media. Consequently, Sportspeople in general can’t live in isolation forever for fear of offending their employer’s feelings. They just need to be equipped with the right knowledge on how to manage their relationship with the media, and that’s all I can pick out from this whole Kelly Madada saga.

That’s all from behind my lens, now that I don’t have a desk😁😁😁😁🚩🏳️📌.

Senator Onyonka: The Way It Is Looking Now, the Political Class Is Fighting the Kenyan People.

" Times and reality have changed but my reality as a politician has not changed. The people and events have also changed.
I hear people talking about this young men want to overthrow the government; if you govern well nobody will want to overthrow you.
We have a country where resources are being stolen, where the leadership class doesn't care, where our medical services are not being provided."~ Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka.

Yesterday, Hon.Raila Odinga meets President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe in Harare

Raila Odinga has kicked off his tour of South African countries as part of his campaign for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship. He is seeking Zimbabwe's support to succeed Chadian Moussa Faki in the upcoming February elections.

Odinga’s diplomatic efforts aim to consolidate backing from key African governments ahead of the crucial vote.

On the final leg of his AU Commission campaign, Raila Odinga and president Mnangagwa discussed various matters concerning Africa, and the president assured Raila of his unwavering support.

According to the newspaper today reports suggest that Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga may withdraw from the African Union Commission (AUC) race, citing the challenge of securing the required two-thirds majority as a significant hurdle. The numbers simply aren’t adding up, and Raila appears keen to avoid the stigma of defeat both at home and abroad.

Sources within ODM circles claim that President William Ruto's involvement has significantly undermined Raila's chances. They argue that had Raila spearheaded the campaign independently, his prospects would have been much stronger—a sentiment that many agree with.

Ruto’s controversial positions on global issues, such as his support for Israel against Palestine, backing Ukraine over Russia, and alleged complicity in abductions of individuals like Dr. Kizza Besigye and Turkish nationals, paint him as a pro-Western figure advancing imperialist interests at the expense of African liberation. This has further polarized opinions and complicated Raila's bid.

It is anticipated that Raila will frame his withdrawal as prioritizing Kenya's needs over the AUC role. He is likely to emphasize his focus on rebuilding ODM, strengthening his party’s position, and regaining lost ground domestically. This aligns with ODM’s recent statement on Friday, January 10th, where Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o and SG Edwin Sifuna reaffirmed the party’s commitment to rebuilding and fielding candidates independently.

The first round of the AUC Chairmanship elections is set for February 25th—just 43 days away.

With all these abductions and extra judicial executions, the right man to be impeached is the soprano professor and not the other acrobat angrily rapping from the sunroof of a fuel guzzler.

Kenyan MPs are now behaving like the mobs of Jerusalem which lynched an innocent Jesus on allegations of impersonation and at the same time set free a known 'jambazi sugu' known as Barabas, in that Jewish storybook called the Bible.

Prof Kundiki even has the audacity to tell Kenyans that thode killed during the demos may have been killed by some other people and not the police. Let's assume they were killed by criminal elements that had infiltrated maandamano.

Whose responsibility is it to investigate and arrest. The buck still stops with the police.

Great morning my fellow Hoof-Eaters!!

Gen – Z is a Name Framed by Kikuyus to Wrestle Power from William Ruto:
The only time Kikuyus think about bad governance is when one of them is not President. It happened during Moi. In 2003 when Kibaki assumed power, Kikuyus told Kenya that they only fought for reforms because Moi was in power, and since Kibaki has taken over they don't need to.

This is the primary reason why Raila Odinga differed with Kibaki while in Narc. To Raila constitutional overhaul was a MUST. On the other hand, to Kukuyus they already got back power and everything else was secondary. THAT is how Kenya went to a referendum in 2005 and ODM formed from it.

From 2003 to 2022 the Kikuyu held power for 20 consecutive years. During this period anybody who questioned bad governance or disregard for the of law under Kibaki or Uhuru was branded anti-development. It was so until Uhuru brought in a bad character in Raila, a Luo whom they took an oath not to allow to take over power. This forced them to rally behind Ruto just to stop a Luo.

Two years after elections and having been convinced that the whole country hate Ruto, Kikuyus came out on the streets. This time in a framed name associated with kids born between 1997 and 2010 - Gen Z. Those vocal in this are names like Boniface Mwangi, a 41 years old commercial activist. As before, they wanted the rest of Kenya to help them get power back.. Kikuyus to leave Kenyans alone.Kenya is not theirs
