Members of the Housing Committee of the National Assembly have voted to remove Emurua Dikirr Member of Parliament Hon Johana Ngong Ng'eno as Chairperson over claims he has been taking bribes from contractors constructing William Ruto's pet Affordable Housing projects. 12 out of the 15 members of the committee voted for his ouster.

Bomet governor Hilary Barchok involved in non fatal road accident along Kisii-Nairobi highway at a place called Kipisarwet near Fairhills Hotel after hitting a motorbike

The motorbike was exiting the main road but lacked indicators when the governor's vehicle hit it on the right side.

The bodaboda rider and his passenger sustained minor injuries.They have been rushed to Longisa County Referral Hospital for treatment.

Governor and his driver were unhurt in the incident.
