ALWAYS BE SMART

In the jungle:
1. The Elephant is the biggest;
2. The Giraffe is the tallest;
3. The Fox is the wisest;?
4. The Cheetah is the fastest;

Yet, the Lion is the KING of the jungle even without ANY of these qualities.

Why?

Because:
1. The Lion is courageous, is bold, walks with confidence, dares anything and is never afraid.
2. The Lion believes it is unstoppable.
3. The Lion is a risk taker.
4. The Lion believes any animal is food for him.
5. The Lion believes any opportunity is worth giving a trial and never lets it slip from its hands.

So...
1. You don't need to be the fastest.
2. You don't need to be the wisest.
3. You don't need to be the smartest.
4. You don't need to be the most brilliant.
5. All you need is .. "courage"
6. All you need is the .."will to try"
7. All you need is the .."faith " to believe it " is possible "
8. All you need is to believe in yourself, that.. " you can do it "!!

The Lion sleeps for 20 hours & works for 4 hours & yet eats meat.., But the elephant works for 24 hours & eats grass.Your life's strategy matters most in your approach to circumstances & situations for you to be a champion or winner always.
Stay in the Lion's mood!
That's the mood for winners.

THE RICH HEART.

Someone asked the richest man in the world, Bill Gates,

“Is there anyone richer than you in the world ?”

Bill Gates replied, “Yes, there is a person who is richer than me.”

He then narrated a story.

“It was during the time when I wasn’t rich or famous.

“I was at the New York Airport when I saw a newspaper vendor.

“I wanted to buy one newspaper but found that I didn’t have enough change. So I left the idea of buying and returned it to the vendor.”

“I told him of not having the change.
The vendor said, ‘I am giving you this for free.’
On his insistence I took the newspaper.”

“Coincidentally, after two to three months, I landed at the same airport and again I was short of change for a newspaper.
The vendor offered me the newspaper again. I refused and said that I can’t take it for I don’t have change today too. He said, ‘You can take it, I am sharing this from my profit, I won’t be at loss.’
I took the newspaper.”

“After 19 years I became famous and known by people.
Suddenly I remembered that vendor.
I began searching for him and after about 1½ months of searching, I found him.”

“I asked him, ‘Do you know me?’
He said, ‘Yes, you are Bill Gates.’ “

“I asked him again, ‘Do you remember once you gave me a newspaper for free?“

“The vendor said, ‘Yes, I remember. I gave you twice.“

“I said, ‘I want to repay the help you had offered me that time.
Whatever you want in your life, tell me, I shall fulfill it.“

“The vendor said, ‘Sir, don’t you think that by doing so you won’t be able to match my help?“

“I asked, ‘Why?“

“He said, ‘I had helped you when I was a poor newspaper vendor and you are trying to help me now when you have become the richest man in the world.
How can your help match mine ?“

“That day I realized that the newspaper vendor is richer than I am because he didn’t wait to become rich to help someone.”

People need to understand that the truly rich are those who possess a rich heart rather than lots of money.

A beer company was hiring a taster, someoneto taste the

beers before selling out. So they placed adverts and one afternoon, a dirty, rough looking man known as Phiri walked into the manager's office asking to be employed.

The manager tried to figure out how he could drive this man away but couldn't come up with an idea, so he decided to give the man a trial. He ordered his secretary to give the man a glass of wine. He took a sip and said, "It's red wine, a muscat, three years old, grown on a north slope, matured in steel containers."

"That's correct!" The manager exclaimed, "Well give him another one lets see." So he was given. He took a sip again and said, "It's red

wine, cabernet, eight years old, southwestern slope, oak

barrels."

"Incredible!" said the manager. Now the manager went closer to the secretary and whispered to her saying, "Go get some of your urine in a cup let's see if he will get that."

So the man was given the cup of urine. He took a sip, turned to the manager and said, "Female urine, 26 years old, 2 weeks pregnant and if I'm not given this job, sir, I will tell your wife who is responsible for the pregnancy!

A “mouse” was put at the top of a jar filled with grains.

He was so happy to find so much food around him that no longer he felt the need to run around searching for food and now he could happily live his life.

After a few days of enjoying the grains, he reached the bottom of the jar.
Now he was trapped and he couldn't get out of it.
He now has to solely depend upon someone to put grains in the same jar for him to survive.
He also may not get the grain of his choice and he cannot choose either.
Here are a few lessons to learn from this:

1) Short term pleasures can lead to long-term traps (living on benefits/furlough/spoilt by parents perhaps?).

2) If things are coming easy and you are getting comfortable, you are getting trapped into dependency.

3) When you are not using your skills, you will lose more than your skills. You lose your CHOICES and FREEDOM.

4) Freedom does not come easy but can be lost very quickly

NOTHING comes easily in life and if it comes easily, maybe it is not worth it.

A man sees a snake burning in the flames and decides to free it from the fire. The snake bites him as soon as he catches it
And it causes the person excruciating pain. The person immediately throws the snake away and the snake falls back into the burning flame.
At this point the person looks around and finds a metal stick He uses the stick to save the snake from the flames
Another person who was watching the incident approached the person and asked him:
"This snake bite you! Why are you trying to save his life?"
The first man replied: "The nature of the snake is to bite, but it will not change my nature, and my nature is to help."

Don't change your behavior because of someone's bad nature..or getting hurt from others. Do not lose the purity of your mind.
Learn to work with caution.! ❤

A blind man sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet.

He held up a sign which said: “I am blind, please help.”

There were only a few coins in the hat. A man was walking by.

He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat.

He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words.

He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind man.

That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were.

The blind man recognized his footsteps and asked, “Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?”

The man said, “I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.

“I wrote: Today is a beautiful day; but I cannot see it.'”

Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the man was blind.

The second sign reminded people how fortunate they were to have their sight.

Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Morals of the Story:

Be creative and innovative. Think differently and positively. THIS CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE STORY 👌
