[9]Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.
Usifanye haraka kukasirika rohoni mwako, Maana hasira hukaa kifuani mwa wapumbavu.
[10]Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
Usiseme, Kwani siku za kale kupita siku hizi? Maana si kwa hekima uulizavyo neno hilo.
[12]For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.
Kwa maana hekima ni ulinzi, k**a vile fedha ilivyo ulinzi; na ubora wa maarifa ni ya kwamba hekima humhifadhi yeye aliye nayo.

Yoshua akawaambia watu wote, BWANA, Mungu wa Israeli, asema hivi, Baba zenu hapo zamani walikaa ng’ambo ya Mto, maana Tera, baba yake Ibrahimu, naye ni baba yake Nahori; wakaitumikia miungu mingine.
[3]And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.
Nami nikamtwaa Ibrahimu baba yenu toka ng’ambo ya Mto, nikamwongoza katika nchi yote ya Kanaani; nikaongeza uzao wake, nikampa Isaka.
